How can that NOT be the best ending? I mean think about it for a second, it gives the best closure out of all scenarios, and if you think about it, since Kenny leaves that means you technically get neither Kenny or Jane in the actual end, just Clem and AJ. That means that it's almost the same as the alone ending except you actually have safety and closure.
Haha, no it isn't.
There have been threads with a gif of jane's death saying it should have lasted longer. That got 40 likes.
There wa… mores a thread saying Lee hates you if you pick jane. That nearly got 100 likes.
There have been no such threads against Kenny fans.

What, you mean the forum which is completely and totally obsessed with Kenny to the extent of saying lee hates you if you kill him and creating gifs of kenny murdering people gruesomely?
You do realise that people leave forums often if they are bullied out, or feel they're in a complete minority?
I left earlier purely because everyone was fanning on Kenny and being rude if I didn't agree.
Forums are not a perfect indication by any means.
They encourage bandwagoning for one thing, as all specific communities do.
And really? You doubt that the people who go onto the internet to discuss the game are the most interested fans? And are therefore not an even representation of the entire audience?
Of course, that is the best ending for me too,but this guy is saying that EVERYBODY should agree with his opinion on how this is the "perfect" ending.
We've had tons of similar threads on the forum about which ending is good and which one isn't,and that ended in endless arguing.Nobody'll ever agree on one thing, that's for sure, but this is getting boring on how this forum is only filled with threads like these.
People should learn how to respect each other's opinions.
Wellington appears to be the perfect ending for AJ and Clem. There they have a stronghold, safety, community of people to talk to, maybe oth… moreer kids, food, water and who knows what else. Clem doesn't have to stress over AJ and the possibility that his cries may attract walkers. She can live comfortable for however long the shelter lasts, whether it be months or years.
Ignoring the fight between Kenny and Jane and the consequence of that completely, Wellington is objectively the best place for Clem and AJ.
i promise you, there would have been way more dislikes if they were still there
PS: i don't agree with the lee hates you thread nor the slow death jane thread
both of those guys are not Kenny fans, they are Kenny extremists, big difference
True, theres always that possibility. However, I doubt that's the case for Wellington, it wouldn't make sense for Edith to turn away potenti… moreal food and then hand them essentials. I'm sure cannibals would prefer to eat others as opposed to people from their own group and I doubt Wellington gets travellers too often.
First off, not at all the point I was trying to make. In the comment I was replying to, I got the feeling you were saying I found a lot of people who liked the Kenny ending because I found a lot of people who liked Kenny. That wasn't true, that's all I was trying to say there.
I still don't think that the Jane ending had as many memorable lines or scenes, but okay.
And I'm saying that the other ending was done better because it felt more like an ending. I'd say a lot of the points you make here are also valid, but my problem with the Jane ending was for me, it didn't get the point across as clearly as any of the other endings got their own points across. That was my main problem with the ending where you let the family in.
I'm not a big fan of Jane, you've got that right, but you're still wrong on the reasons why I disliked that ending so much. It just didn't feel like it was done as good as the other ending in my opinion. Yeah, I was probably wrong about saying it was objectively worse. What I will continue to say though is that each ending had a sense of foreboding, while both Kenny endings made the player feel happy. That seems very clearly like reward vs consequence, which I don't think is a good thing, although, that's not a problem with the Jane ending specifically.
I'm still going to say that the final scene was bad, with Gill complimenting Clem's hat. I just thought that that was incredibly stupid.
One Kenny hater thinks one ending is better than one ending = KENNY CONFIRMED FOR BEST ENDING!!!!!
One person thinks one ending doesn't h… moreave memorable lines = KENNY CONFIRMEDFORBESTENDINGBLARGH!!!!!!!
I think it had memorable lines. Such as Patricia 'Thank you Jane. Thank you...so much..' or Clem's hopeful 'We will make it better ' and Jane looking happily at her.
Does an ending in a continuous series have to be conclusive to be good? So, for example, did you think the season 1 ending was objectively terrible because it ended with some suspense?
You think the ending where you turn them away is good because it shows that if Clem picks Jane she's clearly got cold, and yet you don't think letting in the family does because it shows a warmer side to Jane and reinforces Clem's warmth?
That just sounds like you're a Jane hater. As in ,you think the only POSSIBLE reason someone coudl choose her is because they hate everyone, and you t… [view original content]

Especially considering this is the second least popular ending of all..
Kind of an aside to most of your post here, but you're kind of confusing popularity with what ending a certain % of people got.. aren't you? I would think that just because someone got one ending doesn't necessarily mean they like that ending the best.
What
You think that the fans who don't like Kenny will enjoy his 'walk into the sunset' ending?
Dude not even all Kenny fans think SHO… moreOTING him is wrong, let alone passing up Wellington
What...no....no way will all Jane and Kenny fans agree that this is the best ending...
Especially considering this is the second least popular ending of all..
That is not the 'perfect' ending for everyone..my ending was perfect for me and it's about as far away from this as possible
Exactly the same with my husband.
He sees how the people on the forum are horrible some times and he asks me why the hell I'm on it.
I… more genuinely question that sometimes. This is simply not fun at the moment, with every other thread telling you you're 'objectively wrong' or 'mentally disabled' or a 'faggot' for picking Jane.
I liked it because it reminded me a bit of the show and how they take people in form new communities but I also really liked that Clem has a new friend her own age. Although, she seems years older than him already lol
I love Kenny, man. He's one of my favorite characters of the entire series. But I sure as hell don't think that this ending is the best.
My opinion is that the guy is dangerous. It's not his fault, he's broken and he's lost more than any human being should be expected to lose and still continue on, but I think that it's driven him to the brink of insanity. I still think that Jane was way in the wrong and all, but in my mind what's best for Clem and AJ is to get away from Kenny and stay at Wellington. He really can't protect her anymore, and even he knows it. He did good getting her to Wellington, but I don't feel that she's completely safe around him after that. That's why MY best ending is staying at Wellington without him.
I'm not sure if I misinterpreted this, I assumed you were saying the internet gives the full story less so than the stats. I was doubting that statement. Not sure where you pulled everything in your last paragraph from.
In my experience i've mostly encountered supporters of Jane who are sometimes just as vocal. Not that it is a bad thing considering that this is a discussion board, with a game like this there's bound to be philosophical difference in opinion. It's pretty simple to find out who's trolling and who's serious.

My first run through I shot Kenny because I thought that Jane probably wouldn't kill a baby and that it was an accident. I thought Kenny wasn't listening to reason. I didn't choose to forgive Jane or not forgive her. Clementine just silently went with Jane. After the Kenny death scene and finding out that that bitch had manipulated me in killing Kenny I just let go of my controller miserably and let the rest of the game play with Clementine in silence. I hate that ending. It just left me with a sinking feeling.
When is the next time Jane will manipulate Clementine if Clementine doesn't agree with her? Kenny is a hot head, but at least he's not a liar. He will never make a decision for Clementine. No matter whether you kill him or not, no matter what ending you get he says that you did the right thing. I replayed it and stuck with Kenny and it was a lot more emotionally deep. It was as tear jerking as the Season 1 ending, in fact it had a lot of parallels with that ending. Kenny/Lee give Clementine the choice of leaving Lee behind/leaving with Kenny or shooting Lee/staying in Wellington.
Kenny has been around longer. I liked Jane in episode 3 and four. I choose loyalty over Jane and won't be playing Season 3 with the Jane ending. But when it comes down to it, this is just my opinion and everyone has their own, whether or not any of us agree with it.
I can assume that due to the fact that MOST people shot Kenny and MOST of those stayed with Jane, that there would be a lot more support for… more her than there is shown on the internet.
The fact that most who shot kenny stayed with Jane shows most shooters chose to forgive her. That is at least more substantiated than 'From my experience of the internet this is true':
All our information of plays who don't discuss it avidly on the web comes from the stats. And those stats show that most people forgave Jane, and so we can assume that most people were satisfied with the ending which followed with Jane.
Actually you can choose not to forgive Kenny and go of on your own when you find out that the baby is alive. I think the let Kenny kill Jane and shoot Kenny is possibly for the psychopath Clementine's. #MyClementine, everyone's Clementine is different.
1-To go alone, the Kenny fans have to let Kenny kill Jane AND shoot Kenny...
2-To go alone, the Jane fans have to shoot Kenny and leave/kill Jane
Sir,please,use some logic?!
Going alone with a baby is the worst of the 5 scenarios.
She doesn't have a lookout/protection and she doesn't have a person scavenging f… moreor food. The babies cry can alert zombies at any time, even when Clem is fast asleep. She must now also fight possible threats with a baby in hand. This wouldn't be as bad if she wasn't 11.
I haven't even mentioned the part where she has noone to talk to.
Comments
I love fan art. This is nice stuff.
So how do you judge whether a person knows what he's talking about or not? Whether they agree with your opinion?
I doubt that, especially considering the forum we are currently on.

Agreed.
It may not exactly be the "best ending" but it's definetly the most fulfilling one.
Im just going with the flow..
1-To go alone, the Kenny fans have to let Kenny kill Jane AND shoot Kenny...
2-To go alone, the Jane fans have to shoot Kenny and leave/kill Jane

The people who MADE the thread may have been extremists, but ONE HUNDRED people liking them? Nah, they were Kenny fans.
True true. Just the pessimist in me.

Okay, you're right, I'm sorry, it's my opinion, I'll edit that out.
it thought the aj one was the most voted. oh well
._.
I'm in that 13.5%...
I liked it when the dislike button was here.... I usually explain why I disagree with something, but I also just liked clicking the button.
Walking into the sunset with my bro Kenny is the best

It's ok guys, God forgives you. You made the right choice.
Which is why they went out of their way to make an exception for Clem and a baby even though they were already over capacity?
Flog, you're a lady? Not that it matters, I guess I just assumed wrongly that you were a guy lol.
I liked it because it reminded me a bit of the show and how they take people in form new communities but I also really liked that Clem has a new friend her own age. Although, she seems years older than him already lol

No, I am a guy
lol, i just realised that now
maybe they're like the bandits from s1 ep2
well you're stupid
not for picking wellington
for assuming your opinion is correct
Secret ending?
In other words you have absolutely nothing to argue that Wellington is a better place for AJ and Clem than Howe's or solo.

those who choose alone ending, expecting clem to be like this in season 3.... ^^
Edit: even i didn't choose that ending ... i was expecting to be her like this in season 3 even tho i was thinking if im gonna play season 3 or not...
