I'm relieved that's not actually her, because I was worried thinking that's how she actually acts in life but at the same time, I'm actually scared that the real Lexi Porter is probably even worse than that.
Its a joke of its former self now. The attitude era was awesome. There was always that sense of anything could happen. Great personalities like The Rock, Stone Cold ect... They weren't afraid to get actually hurt (see Mankind vs Undertaker cage matches). Things were popping off.. Ladder matches between Edge, Christian and the Hardy boys. THE DUDLEYS! The awesomeness surrounding the hardcore title and the fact that the holder could lose the belt because someone ambushed him in the locker room was just so fun. Nothing was ever boring and it was all just great.
Fast forward to now. Not even The Rock's return could save this boring shell. Constantly giving John Cena endless pushes even though no one likes him. The real talent is held back so that the boring wrestlers keep winning.... Every match is the same predictable 1v1 affair... And even if they do something different its always safe... No blood no real risks. Even my favorite match, Royal Rumble is laughably boring now.
I've always known professional wrestling was scripted... But its never been more obvious at how fake it is and i can only see it get worse.
Its ok though. I know I'm no longer the target demographic. Its for the kids now.
Its hard to say what really happened. Its tragic at any rate. Especially since they tried to delete Benoit's presence pretending he never existed. You'd get kicked out of venues if you had anything with his name on it. Can't have signs with his name on it. The games took his move sets out making it harder to even make him as a created wrestler.
Top it off that wasn't long before Eddie Guerro died and they didn't do that to him. WTF
Yep, you summed up what I was going to say. It's all about the kids now. That is why John Cena is always getting the wins and pushes, not saying he doesn't deserve it. I remember when he was Basic Thuganomics, then Wrestlemania 20 beating big show, and now look at him. The kids absolutely love him and honestly I'm a fan of him, sure he isn't a great in ring wrestler but he is charismatic and people generally love him. If you want real wrestling, I'd say stay away from WWE and watch New Japan or RoH in USA. It's a shame really for me, I loved WWE, my whole life dream was to become a wrestler before I stopped pursuing the dream. I just can't take the kid stuff anymore, the target demographic is kids and if you are an adult you won't like it. I guess its good in some way, if I ever have kids I can let them experience the love I used to have for it when I was young .

Yep, it's pretty bad considering he was my favorite. I'm always going to rank him as one of the greatest of all time. My childhood was built around that Evolution/HHH fued. My first Wrestlemania was WM20 and that in ring Eddie/Chris moment was amazing. I also loved Dynamite Kid too.
