My Idea For the Season 2 DLC

First off, thank you Telltale Games for making such an emotional episode! Now the real question is, with so many endings(five to be exact), what will Season 3 look like? Well, since your not telling us any time soon, I'd thought id come up with my idea for a Post Season DLC that will go into Season 3. Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, Lurkers and Walkers, I present Season 2 Bonus Episode: Crossroads.

The DLC can go down many different ways with one ending that all choices will end up at.

The Openings:

The Alone Ending: Clementine and AJ are walking through the forest just a few days after the ending. They come across a Highway full of Military Road Blocks. Clementine decides to check it out. They walk through it and find virtually nothing, save for a few canned goods. AJ starts to cry and Clementine frantically tries to calm her down. Walkers start coming out of the forest and Clementine attempts to run before being pulled to the ground by a Zombified Soldier. She tries to escape to no prevail. When all seems lost a Man with a Baseball Bat comes over and bashes the walkers head in. It's Vince. With him are Wyatt, Russell, Shel, and Becca. Regardless if they went with Tavia or not they will all be here(The only change will be their clothing appearance.). It can be assumed that after Carvers Camp fell, the ones who stayed at the camp in 400 Days happened to find the Howes escapees. Shel grabs the baby and Wyatt helps Clementine up. They all run down the highway until they see a Gas Station Connivence Store. They take refugee inside and whoever went with Tavia in 400 Days will recognize Clementine from the camp. They all decide to have some rest and Clementine can walk around the Gas Station and talk to each of them, even finding energy bars like Lee did in Season 1 for the Pharmacy Survivors. They say they are heading towards Wellington. Regardless if Clementine refuses, she knows that AJ needs supplies and that this group is her only hope. After you talk to them all, everyone's radio will start picking up a signal from what claims to be a military base Safe Zone. With virtually no supplies and no other options, they decide to investigate.

The Howes Ending- With Family: Clementine, AJ, Jane, Randy, Gil, and Patricia are settling in comfortably to Howes a few days after the events of No Going Back. Unfortunately, Tavia and Carvers former goons(Hank will be there if Alvin was killed by Carver in Episode 2) decide to retake their former home. Clem's group is clearly outnumbered and they have no choice but to leave. Gil found a radio and managed to sneak it out of Howes. It starts to play a radio transmission from a Military Bass Safe Zone. With no other options, the 6 head for the base.

The Howes Ending- Turn Away Family: It is very similar, only Randy, Gil, and Patricia are not present. Jane finds the radio instead of Gil and they still head towards the military base.

Stay With Kenny Ending: A few days after No Going Back, Kenny, Clem, and AJ come across an abandoned Post Office. They explore inside only to come across Randy, Patricia, and Gil. They decide to join up because Clem's group still has supplies from Wellington. The family tells them that their is a working Truck in the back. They get in the truck when the trucks Ham Radio starts broadcasting a transmission from a military Base Safe Zone. They drive towards its location.

Stay in Wellington Ending: Clementine discovers the leader of Wellington is Lilly. Clementine can either remain hostile towards her or forgive and forget. Clementine meets some of the other members of the community such as Rose, Iris, Justin(If he survived over Danny in 400 Days), and Andre Mitchell who will recognize Clementine if Lee and her left at night in A New Day. Wellington revives a transmission from a Military Base and as Edith said, with supplies dwindling, they'll take whatever they can get. Clementine says she wants to go and when Lilly asks why Clementine can either say "I might find my friend Christa.", "I'm not a baby", "Because I want to" or remain silent. The group heads out.

The Determinant Kenny Chapter: In this chapter you will play as Kenny but only if you got the alone ending and kept him alive, or you stayed in Wellington. Kenny is wandering along a riverbank. He hears walkers coming and tries to climb a tree. He is hanging onto a branch about to crack when Mike and Bonnie(Determinant) come to his rescue. Kenny can either be happy to see them or extremely pissed. When he asks where "The Ruskie Is?" Mike says he left him to die after he shot Clem. Kenny will be pleased to hear this. Him, or they tell Kenny that they are heading towards a Military Base they got a message from on a radio they found. Kenny will tag along and his chapter ends.

The Determinant Jane Chapter: This chapter is only available if you got the Alone Ending but kept Jane alive. Jane is wandering through a Town(Based off of Roanoke, Virginia). She comes across a Drugstore and inside she meets another loner, Molly. The two fight similar to how she and Lee did back in Around Every Corner with Jane either winning or losing. Regardless, Jane will survive. Before the two can fight anymore, walkers show up, forcing the two of them to work together. When they are out of Harms Way(No pun intended), Molly tells Jane about how she's heading to a Military Base she got a message from on her Walkie Talkie. The two agree to work together and they head off.

Eddies Chapter: Eddie, Leland(Determinant), Jake, and Ashley are camping out in the woods. If Kenny is dead or with Clementine, Mike and Bonnie(Determinant) will show up. If Kenny is alive but left Clem in Wellington or they parted ways, than he will also be present. If Mike is the only one there, Eddie and his group will only agree to let him in because of his supplies. However, if Bonnie is also there, Eddie and Bonnie will be revealed to know each other from their college years. Bonnie will obviously remember Leland if he is there and walk over and slap him and the two will embrace. Eddie can walk around and talk to everyone in the group. Mike will tell them about the military base and with barley any supplies left, they agree to go. As they walk down they hear a woman screaming from the River and the chapter ends.

Christa's Chapter: Christa, who is still by herself comes across the same trailer park Sarah was at. She climbs through the whole in the fence. Nicks zombie body will be there if he survived until Episode 4. She goes into the same Trailer as Sarah was in and will find her ripped apart body if Clementine left Sarah to die in Amid the Ruins. After hoping out a window, Christa hears a truck coming. The driver spots her and regardless of what Christa says she will eventually end up getting in the truck anyway. The truck driver is Nate. After the two have an extremely awkward conversation, depending on the way you acted toward him he will either say "Strong 7" "Strong 8" or "A Fucking Perfect 10!" Before Christa can ask what he means Nate slams on the breaks and says "It's time to feed the Beak." Christa is able to get away and run. She goes into an apartment building and runs up the stairs. She can hear Nate whistling "Pop goes the Weasel" as he drags his axe across the floor. He finds her and Christas only means of escape is to jump into the River below. She does so as Nate screams "I will find you!" She is swept by the River until she washes up on shore in front of Eddies group who helps her out of the water. If Kenny is there he will mutter "Holy Shit". Christa can hug Kenny if she wishes. The chapter will end with Eddies Group telling her about the military base as she is being warmed up by the fire.

The Crossroads Chapter: All of the choice branches will lead you to this path. You once again are in control of Clementine. All of the groups will meet. Christa can be reunited with Jane/Kenny/Christa/Bonnie/Mike/Molly and gets to meet everyone else. They are currently in Spotsylvania, Virginia near the mall where the transmission was coming from. They approach the mall with one man sitting outside eerily on a chair. He will immediately notice Russell and before he can say anything walks over to him, knocking him out cold. Before the group can draw their guns 20+ Men come out with heavy weaponry and the man says "Whadda ya say guys? Should we just kill these folks and take all their stuff?" The DLC ends.

So what do you guys think? If you have any constructive criticism please let me know.

  • For those of you who don't know or forgot, the guy at the end was Steve, the leader of Russell's former group. Russell said he always said "Should we just kill these folks and take all their stuff?" And if I was doing Season 3, Nate would appear again. And of course, Clementine would be the PC again.

  • If only Telltale had this much money...

  • I'm pretty sure they can pull something like this off.

  • I really enjoy these. I really hope these become official! Also for Eddie's chapter, him knowing Bonnie makes sense in a way. In Wyatt's story in 400 Days, Eddie talks about how he and his girlfriend went to a sideshow and saw a guy with lobster claws. Now in Bonnie's story in 400 Days, she is talking about lobster claws. She probably made up a game with it cause it reminded her of her college years and the fun she had before everything went downhill for her.

  • Come on people, show him what you all think! I personally would be greatly satisfied if this was like, the ending to all endings.

  • Please? Bump

  • tl;dr plz

  • Ugh people take some attention on this. If you were to become a writer wouldn't you want criticism to help make your writing better? BUMP

  • You cant force people man, I posted my theory and no one cared either. Leave it. All theories tend to do is big up things up so much and people are then disappointed when it dosnt happen

  • I actually think I a DLC 'mini' episode starring Christa set after they got separated would be really great. I don't really want her to come back into the main story (nothing against her, just don't see the point of it), so answering what became of her through the choice format would be a nice gift to all the people who wanted to see her again. Even if it doesn't come into season 3 (which 400 days didn't anyway!), I would love to see it.
