Somebody please tell me......

Somebody please tell me...... why do most people like Kenny (he can't seem to do any wrong) , Don't want Lee back (favorite line :"get over it", hates Jane (they loved seeing her die) and Sarah, didn't care about Carlos or Alvin's fate And don't care if they see Christa again??? I noticed this.

    1. The statement about most people liking Kenny isn't precisely true, especially as of late.

    2. Because Lee is dead, time to accept it.

    3. Replace "Lee" with "Sarah".

    4. Didn't get attached, I reckon. Alvin was effectively present for only 2 episodes (he was absent almost entirely in Episode 3), and Carlos wasn't a very active character in terms of the story, but that's just my opinion.

    5. Because not all people care about Christa. Her initial (and, perhaps, overall) attitude gets some people off, I guess. Was never a fan of hers, so, I couldn't care less if she was to appear or remain lost. But, I can say that I'm not against it, if it ever happens, I just don't believe it will.

  • you totally didn't read this right........I didn't ask what to do, i asked why do people feel that way.

  • I don't know why some people think he's faultless. I don't know why anyone thinks anyone is faultless.

    You're right, on this forum you do get people justifying every single thing he does. Just ignore them ,they're fanatics.

    Real Kenny fans acknowledge his flaws as flaws.

  • OK...as long as it's not just me. :D

    People like Kenny because he cares about Clem and AJ (Kenny endings);

    People don't "want" Lee back because he is dead, no way he survived;

    People hate Jane because she made us kill Kenny just to prove a point; most people don't hate Sarah;

    People did care about Alvin and Carlos, and didn't like them dying;

    Most people want to see Christa again.

    You are mostly right but people do want Lee back. They are starting to accept it but if TT said that ''Hey, we ant to bring Lee back!!! What do you say?'' I doubt tthat anyone would say no. And when it comes to Crista, just personaly, I did not care for her. I liked her, but I did not care about her. At all.

  • Maybe it comes from my own perspective, but I do realize that Lee is dead. He won't return, despite how people may want him back. Hell, I accepted this fact back when I first played Episode 5 of Season 1.

    As for Christa, it's pretty much the same for me, only that I didn't like her. I was pretty neutral towards her, and didn't care much.

  • I am not saying that there is a chance Lee is alive, they are canstatly saying he is not and I am kinda ok with that. I am just saying that if there was a chance he would come back no one would say no.

  • I guess I can't disagree with that, but I don't really since any chance of him coming back.

    There should be an alternate universe where Lee is alive.

    C'mon, TT, I'm giving you ideas. Take out your notebooks.

    I would 100% say no! I would shout it on the rooftops. Why you may ask? Because I don't want TT to lose all credibility.

  • here is an example..... if i say "why do a lot of people don't want Lee back " He said "Because Lee is dead, time to accept it" what does that have to do with what i said? what if i said "it's just a game, they can bring anybody back, accept it!" that would be rude and kind of uncalled for. especially after the 50th time. thats what i mean.

  • Ok, I can see why you said no. Not going to fight back. Everyone has their own opinion. So I guess I was more refering to the majority.

  • I totally agree with this, i know. I made a thread a long time ago where they reuse dead characters, and put them in another world. Like the borderlands game. Who wouldn't enjoy that game more with Lee Everett, Carley, and the crew. Maybe this time they rewrite Ben as a evil villain.

    I do. Because he's a long running character with a very passionate fanbase. I have never seen it this crazy but it happens everywhere. A good example is The Joker. Everyone loves the Joker. He's unpredictable... he's very fun and always has something funny to say. He makes Batman more interesting (as do most of his rogue's gallery) but the fans tend to forget he's a psychopath, mass murderer who sees it all as some game. My all time favorite villain but a lot of people act like he's perfect.

  • I'm sure most people would love Lee back. But sometimes great storytelling is being able to ignore what the fans want.

    Yeah, even though he won't screw up this time, just because he didn't give a shit about his friend, and, thus, didn't even try to save him.

  • Pure Marketing gold. They don't have to make a game serious to make it enjoyable.
