I honestly think Lee would have killed Kenny. I'm not picking favorites or anything, I seriously think Lee would have shot Kenny in that sit… moreuation. Lee would not have let a grizzly murder take place right in front of him even if it was between friends. Lee would not have let Jane get slaughtered by a machete, I just can't see Lee just turn his head away and ignore that. True that Lee and Kenny are best friends, but Lee is man of great fortitude and character. Lee would have done what needed to be done to save someone's life even if that meant putting down his best friend.
kenny clearly states that he wanted to kill her, because he taught she killed Aj. That was his assumption before he even came back inside. Kenny says that if she hadnt lied about Aj, he wouldnt have gone that far.
Obviously it wouldn't have gone that far because nothing would have happened between them at all if Jane hadn't lied about the baby. He says that line after he says that Jane was trying to kill him too. He was saying the fight didn't need to progress to that point. She could have said the baby was alive. You're making it sound like he said: "I killed her because I thought she killed AJ. I wouldn't have felt that way if she hadn't lied".
If current law system would be based around your moral values, no one would go to prison for murdering someone.
Good thing Kenny didn't "murder" Jane. He would be charged with assault. In the case that Kenny gets killed, Jane would be on trial for attempted murder. Her actions were clearly beyond self defense, as we have been over.
Kenny wasnt backing off, he was going outside to recover, and because its not safe fighting against knife in small spaces.
It doesn't matter why he backed off. It doesn't change the fact that the fight should have ended here.
kenny clearly states that he wanted to kill her, because he taught she killed Aj. That was his assumption before he even came back inside. K… moreenny says that if she hadnt lied about Aj, he wouldnt have gone that far.
So kenny makes assumption-> bases his actions upon it -> says he is sorry after everything and poof, its all good.

Kenny wasnt backing off, he was going outside to recover, and because its not safe fighting against knife in small spaces.
From the start, Kenny was going to murder Jane, the fact that Jane actually fought back doesnt change that. After awhile, they both tried to… more kill each other, but after Kenny stabbed her to the leg, she was downed and Kenny went for the kill. (im pretty annoyed that the writers just forgot that she got stabbed to the leg, and let her walk normally after the fight ends).
From my perspective, to that point Kenny had done more wrong overall and Jane was better option if Clementine wanted to stay alive.
Like ive said before, Kenny trying to kill Jane is like trying to kill random man in your house, just because you believed your wife was having affair with him.
Dude, I can't really understand you that well. As for responding to your comment (as best as I can). You're saying that shooting your best friend in the back is also a grizzly murder. Due to the circumstances, shooting Kenny in the back was hardly malicious considering what was happening. As I said before, I don't see Lee walking away and letting Kenny kill Jane (who would probably be Lee's friend too) with a machete. It just doesn't seem like something Lee would let happen.

Lee wasn't just a complete reflection of who the player was though. He did have a somewhat set personality. We can see that in the dream seq… moreuence. I don't think Lee would even be given the option to shoot one or the other, he would just separate them. Heck, he would have prevented Kenny from taking Jane's bait in the first place.
I know that's kind of an aside to what you were saying there, just thought I would add on anyway.
Why do people assume Jane was a victim, because she wasn't on top?
I get the feeling people would shoot her if she was the one with the advantage in the end.
So you're judging who's right and wrong by looks?
Of couse he looks scary, he's got a mangled eye which Jane was clawing at and punching during the fight.
When she stabbed him in the gut, it wasn't self defense anymore. She was going for the kill. At that point whoever ended on top was going to become a "murderer"
She had the chance to run when he started staggering around because of the wound, and even if Clem begs her to run, she refuses.
Lol, you should re-read my other posts when I tell people their dumb. Its because they keep reusing the same points after I've addressed them multiple times.
"When she stabbed him in the gut, it wasn't self defense anymore. She was going for the kill". The part where you say "it wasn't self defense anymore", is completely based on your opinion. How do you know if she didn't pull out the knife or if she ran away (which we all know is not in her nature at all) that Kenny would have just backed off. If you ask me, Kenny was "going for the kill" from the get-go. She's just tough as nails and would rather deal with the situation than run from it. We can't just assume that Kenny would have just immediately calm down and come to his senses as there was no reason to believe this at any point (mainly in the beginning when Jane 'stages' the baby's death which she was completely wrong to do and could not be forgiven for putting me in a situation to have to kill my best friend so she could make a fruitless point).
Kenny got MY Lee killed by stealing the supplies and at the end he even refuses to help me find Clem when I'm bit. Fuck Kenny, I wish I could've squeezed both of his eyeballs and shot his dick off. I hate him so much.
Everything depends on how you playing as Lee , so it may be different. But IRL in this situation I wouldn't kill my best friend / dude who I knew for a long time to save someone , who I knew only for couple of days , and who screws up with baby that leads to anger of my best friend / dude who I knew for a long time. IMO it's not worth it. Plus , I think that whole situation was caused by Jane's will to get rid of Kenny , instead of asking Clem , who she want to be with.

Things would have been totally different with Lee there. Lee would have been the leader, not Kenny, so Lee would never have need to shoot Kenny in the first place.
Lee didn't killed Lilly even when she just killed a valuable member of the group. Why do you expect him to kill Kenny, then, when he was fighting for legit reasons? Jane wanted to kill Kenny, remember that.
Anyways, like I said in my other comment, with Lee that situation between Kenny and Jane would never happened.
So you put AJ in danger All this arguing happens outside, during a snowstorm, with the baby fully exposed. So, let's not forget Telltale is not the most medically correct staff out there.
"his actions wouldve put Alvin JR in danger."
HNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
Not like Jane put Alvin… more in a fucking cold icy car! God these people. I reallly want Telltale to kill off Jane at the start of S3 if she's in it, maybe Kenny too, would be awful but atleast we won't have over-zealous carley fans 2.0 trying to make themselves look superior.
It's 2 years of apocalyptic bullshit, what did you expect? It's happening nowadays in countries where everything is fucked up too, you can see it every day (unless you ignore it because you live in your happy world).
Well, this Lee you're talking about is subjective..
So in my mind, Lee beat up Kenny for not stopping the train and getting the entire group in danger, so Lee would've done something about Kenny way before that Jane and Kenny fight. So, when he told me he didn't know he made the right choice about leaving Lilly behind, I solemnly believe he would've shot Kenny and taken Jane along with him. Lee, Jane, AJ, and Clem.. the perfect fam!
Whatever...by the way, when you say that you only knew Jane for a couple of days, IRL, I'd tell you to get lost. That's as close to a lie as you can get.

Again, Lee would have restrained them, he's not Clementine. Clementine had to shoot because she's just a little girl which can't do shit to stop the fight unless it's with the gun.
I have to agree with OP. The only way to get on Kenny's good side was to be morally malicious. For me, and many others, our Lee's were good people, so the good Lee's would have shot Kenny.
Kenny got MY Lee killed by stealing the supplies and at the end he even refuses to help me find Clem when I'm bit. Fuck Kenny, I wish I could've squeezed both of his eyeballs and shot his dick off. I hate him so much.
And if you beg Kenny to stop and hear Jane out he says "I'm done talking" and shoves Clem aside. This shows the detrimental factor in the f… moreight regarding your actions. If you try and stop Kenny he shows him in a bad light. If you try and stop Jane it shows her in a bad light. Showing that Telltale was looking to give you a chance of seeing how you decide who was in the right in that moment during the fight.
I think none of this matters because Kenny started the fight and I thought it was very obvious that nothing but Jane's death would satisfy him. Once again assuming shit and acting on it like the stubborn bull he's always been.
I think if it was Lee then it wouldn't even have gotten that far. We only had the choices to do what we did because those were the options a… morevailable to Clementine. Even being shot, I think Lee being there instead would have really changed the situation, no matter how you played him.
That's not true at all. You are actually completely off lol. I never beat up Kenny for not stopping the train (I managed to talk him into it) and no I wouldn't have done something before the Kenny and Jane fight. Also, I didn't leave Lily on the side of the road when she killed the journalist. I actually don't understand your actions in the game at all. How does him (Lee) saying he wasn't sure about leaving Lily on the side of the road that far back in season 1 be the reason why your so sure Lee would kill Kenny at the very end of season 2? You actually sound crazy.
Well, this Lee you're talking about is subjective..

the lee that i was in season 1 always protected the weak. he would NOT have tolerated a new group member or any group member, jane in that case,to just play around with a baby to reveal kenny's "real" face. what did jane actually try to achieve? of course kenny is pissed! and my lee would have been pissed too and if he would have been there,he (or i) would have done the same as kenny. besides that, jane was the one who grabbed the knife first to attack kenny! SHE was the one who attacked him with a weapon. she wanted to reveal kenny's real face but actually revealed hers.
it's the end of the world and she is playing some simple game to show clem what kenny really is. but i know kenny for a long time already. and i know what and who he really is. yes,he can be a jackass, especially when his temper is taking over but he is making the hard decisions. lee knew that. lee and kenny had their differences but in my playthrough they were best buddies. jane simply disliked kenny and wanted to get rid of him. she liked clementine and just wanted to protect her and AJ but i know kenny better than her. jane lost!
i left wellington with kenny and he wanted me to stay at wellington. "just take the kids" i never expected him to choose my own life over his (it's obviously more dangerous outside of wellington). that moment i knew i did the right thing! it was the right thing to keep him alive. and lee watched from above and i knew he agreed with me!
I don't know why you're so convinced that was breathing. He just opened his mouth.
It could have been a walker reanimating. The first thing Rebecca did when reanimating spontaneously was to open her mouth.
Why do you keep blaming Kenny for Jane's fault. If she knew he was crazy and could hurt them why risk getting killed? She only started the fight by lying because she thought she could handle it. She also says stay out of it and by doing so and not clicking to help either Jane still loses. She was weak and an unstable survivor that took on a broken man so she could win Clem as some kind of prize.
You talk about leaving babies behind in other posts but now talk about moral values!?!? In a world like this only one thing matters...don't write checks your ass can't cash! Meaning don't start fight with crazy old men unless you're sure you can win

And that is exactly the reason he was going for prison. He murdered someone. Lee however murdered someone who he knew was guilty of doing something. Kenny and Lilly murder someone because of assumption.
But Lee did exactly that... the affair thing, I mean. He murdered a guy for that. It doesn't mean he's a psycho or a bad man.
Anyway, I d… moreidn't think of it 'til now, but leaving AJ alone in the car was kind of a bad move, what if he started crying and it attracted walkers?

Ummm ... But isn't shot is the back of your best friend is a grizzly murder ?From that position , It would be better just to leave from Kenny.

I wish Lee was still alive.
Only he could've stooped all that shit.
I would've preferred to play him this season.
lol Are you saying she wasn't?? I mean...
Im judging by his facial expression
Hm where did I say this?

Jane had her psycho face on too, before she started losing the fight
Nah it wasn't. He's old enough not to act like he does. There is no excuse for his behavior.

...
...Um... I never typed he was...
Day 1: They arrive at Carver's, see Jane in the background.
Day 2: Jane shows up in the evening and explains walker herd traveling.
Day 3: The group escapes
Day 4: Rebecca has her baby, jane leaves.
Day 6, or 10: Jane shows up at the shootout and kills the last russian.
Day 7 or 11: The group arrive at the unfinished house
Day 8 or 12: Jane and Kenny fights
