Will we play Clementine in Season 3?

I'm kinda doubting this because of the various endings to Season 2. If we don't play Clementine, who will we play next? Will we go off with a character that didn't come back in Season 2? Like Molly? Or we'll we see where Mike and Bonnie's journey takes them and if they ditch Arvo or not. Who knows? I wouldn't mind playing Mike to be honest, I can understand why he did what he did in No Ging Back and still feel he's a great potiental character in my opinion.

  • Not saying I would mind playing Clementine again. Hell, I'd love to see Clementine and Kenny more (because I saved Kenny duh). But I would probably enjoy it more if we played a man that was strong like Lee, that is Mike as of now because he was the strongest of the lot and I don't think Telltale are going to outcast him and Bonnie in Season 3.

Also I think this. Mike was liturally my favorite character, apart from Kenny and Clementine.

  • I think so and they should. Telltale have pitched the whole game on keeping Clementine alive. It would be weird to start as someone else now and I'm not sure how it would really work.

  • Good point, though that doesn't mean they can't end her story. Not kill her off but stop relating to her as the playable character. Even Dave Fennoy when talking with Greg Miller at IGN thought they should change it for the third season.

  • Season one and Two would mean nothing.. I mean if you think about if starting as a different group you would never meet Clem meaning no choices from Season one or two will be relevant..

  • I'm not saying forget about her completely. Run into Clementine. Like maybe if you were someone else. Like Molly for example. Depending on what you did in Season 2, she would run into Clementine on her own, with Kenny, with Jane, or with Jane and the family. Not cutting out Clementine completely. Same could be done if you were Mike.

  • I believe we will play as Christa. It will run concurrently with season 2 (starting from the moment you help her/sneak away), and you will learn the fate of her baby, as well as if she ever made it to Wellington.

Maybe even witness the firefight down by the river?

  • That kind of sounds more like a DLC to be honest. The third Season would be based around events after the new Season. I want Christa to come back though, I'll be mad if she doesn't. Kind of a waste to only pop her up in one episode.

  • If she were alone, but if she's with people. I mean, who expected Kenny to end with those people on the hill? Before Episode 2 came out, more people thought someone else was going to turn up. It's possible.

Though playing as Clementine wasn't exactly THAT good to me. I prefered Season One over the second to be honest, for everything. I'd like to end up as someone skilled next season like Mike or Molly.

  • Will we play as Clementine? Maybe.
Would I like to play as Clementine? Hell yes.

  • I hope so. The idea of playing as a teenage Clementine has a lot of potential.

  • Maybe, just maybe, we anyway end up in the same place and we just get a different explaination about how we got there. Maybe.

  • Anyone remember the opening sequence of season 2, with Clem, Christa and Omid in the bathroom stalls? Telltale could do the same in season 3, except this time each saved import would trigger a different pre-credits opening.

  • Nope. It was good but not as good as the first Season. The way the first one ended would of just been a perfect ending for the entire thing. I don't think they should of made Lee get bit either. Think he'd have good potiental to be like Rick Grimes and have both his hands for a while.

  • If you choose to decide to go with Mike, Clementine was willing until she was shot by Arvo. Mike had reasons for what he did and I understand them because Kenny doesn't have the best view on the world. It's my opinion and I'm allowed it. I can accept you disagree but it seems you're not going to let me get away with thinking differently.

  • I would actually like for every TWD season to have a different protagonist, so that even though you continue the story, you will not know if the characters are safe. Sure, Lee died in season 1, but at the end. And it was fairly obvious that Clem wouldn't die either. Especially not during episodes 1 to 4. So playing as someone else and actually being anxious about Clem's fate would be cool. You could also interact with the Clem you build up until now. If you played sassy Clem, she would be more sassy in season 3 and if you very more innocent while playing her, she would be kind in season 3.

That seems reasonably good. Personally I don't see Lee as 'dead.' I feel the way I ended Episode 5 brings up possiblity for his fate to be questioned. Some agree some don't so I don't want to go into discussion about it. But yeah, if you played someone else in Season 3, you'd worry about Clementine and possibly Kenny or Jane, which ever you helped. Christa even like we did in Season 2. And Molly. I really think this Season we should be Molly so she's not forgotten completely or Mike with Bonnie and Arvo. See where they are heading.
