How Nick should have died (In my opinion)
Nick has died a really horrible death. Not as in a death that was painful, but it was a death at the wrong place, at the wrong time. To be honest, if they were really that desperate to kill Nick off, the perfect place for him to die would be: the frozen lake.
Now hear me out, Luke shouldn't have died at all. At worst he should have been a determinant, but they decided to kill him off. His death was fine, but it didn't make any sense for him to die so early into Episode 5. It's also rather strange that he stepped on the crack... but nevermind.
In Episode 2, if you saved Pete he will ask you to keep looking over Nick for him. Depending what you have said, it would have fit perfectly into his death in Episode 5. Nick is also known as a screw up, who never manages to do anything right. He always wanted to change and start doing some good deeds. His death in Episode 5 would redeem him in some way. Firstly if you chose to help him yourself, he would die as a hero, pushing the walker down into the depths before he can do anything to Clementine, and secondly, it would be more fitting for Clementine trying to keep her word of watching over Nick, and trying to save him no matter what, but by the end she is ultimately not able to keep the promise, as she was powerless to do anything to help out Nick.
As for Luke, he should have died a different way, or at least became a determinant. Although I don't know how the story would unfold if he was alive...
Anyway, I have made a video of it to show you guys. But it was more of a exercise of my model swapping abilities.

No. Nick shouldn't have died. I wish they gave us the option to leave with nick. i'd kill anybody for Nick if his life depended on it.
How you made that video? O.O
Lots of trial and error because sometimes some of the models would either not work correctly or they would be glitched. Also lots of file swapping. Pretty tedious >.<
I think Nick should have died in the fire fight because everyone in the group living through it felt unreal
He should have either got shot in the head instead of his the shoulder or he should have been the one to run after Arvo at the lake and the ice would beak underneath him. Or maybe he should have been at the final fight with Jane and Kenny and had gotten accidentaly killed by Jane with her knife, she gets distracted and Kenny finds the oprtunity to ''activate'' the final (not really final but you know) choise.
That would actually add some kind of incentive to let Jane die if she accidentally killed Nick.
I thought of Kenn catching her by suprise, her reacting the last second and the 2 of them getting in the:
''Kenny- Ama gonna stab you biach!!
Jane- No, nevar!''
position.
But you have a point. I should have made my self clear.
Telltale seemed very eager to kill Nick and Sarah while giving them little opportunity to grow. I agree, they should have given Nick a better death. I mean come on, dying offscreen by getting stuck in a fence? Lame. At the very least, he could have played a role in the saving of Sarah somehow. Like he could stay behind and help push Sarah up. Or when Sarah fell off the deck, he could have gone down to rescue her. And this could have given Sarah some redemption. If you taught her how to shoot, then she will save Nick/Jane, but if you didn't teach her how to shoot then she misses, panics and both Nick and Sarah die.
