Hell yeah, it'd be an asshole move of Telltale to ask the costumer to play the first two games in order to get emotionally attached. That would be as if Bioware would have made a THIRD mass effect building up on the choices of the first two games... THANK god they did not do that. I would not have played that. Or imagine if people would have liked to see the eighth Harry Potter movie. Thank GOD that movie did not contain Harry Potter, it's as if the studio would have asked the people to watch the first seven movies first. I really hope all sequels don't contain original characters from the original movies. It'd be shit if that happens one day.
You're saying they will grow bigger audience by deleting Clem. Bullshit, they get maybe few people, but most people will lose interest. They can get bigger audience through other games like TWAU, GoT, ToB, The Walking Dead is about Clementine, it's her story. No point calling it Season 3 without Clem and Telltale isn't charity, they need money and Clem is money.

Plus, there are often steam and Psn sales where you get the seasons for 5-10$ each. It's not that expensive. Well, it may be for kids, but then again, I think the game shouldn't be played by teens younger than 15/16.
You do realize how keeping old characters causes problems in long run? For example Kenny. If people didnt know what happened with him in season 1, they would be on Kennys side on season 2. This made Kenny peoples favorite before they could even get to like other characters that much... Luke was the only character that everyone could really like, and they just killed him off because of that. People tend to pick the thing they have known the longest (eating familiar foods etc.), which made Kenny the obvious choice in Kenny vs Jane situation for many people.

What? I know what happened with him in season one, and I still was on his side in season two. I don't get why it is a problem for you if people like Kenny. I'm pretty sure that telltale has other motives for killing off characters. They mostly do it for story purposes.
Plus, I don't see the problem with the Kenny vs Jane situation. I loved Kenny, he was a father figure for my Clem, and I still shot him. You react way too harsh to this Kenny vs Jane stuff. It's just a video game.
You do get the reason a sequel is called sequel, right?

For what's worth, I don't think they will. If there's one drawback I find with zombie stories is it hits the same two notes a lot. We've had two seasons so far where Clem has more or less lost everyone. They surely won't do that again for season 3?
You do realise that another season with Clem implies that she will go through more suffering and more loss? As we all know TTG has a reputation for making us sad, we could possibly see AJ or even Clem die next season if she is the protagonist again.
Takes about +16 hours to complete both seasons, and thats a lot of free time for some people (not for me tho ) 16 hours just so you can start something else.
(i can spend 50 hours straight just catching up on some tv series, so i do have time. just saying that many working people dont have that kind of time).

I said if you DIDNT know Kennys story from season 1, you wouldnt be on his side on season 2. People are familiar with Kenny, not with Jane. Those who shot Kenny shot him because they knew he crossed the line, or just because they liked Jane more. Those who let Kenny murder Jane did it because they know Kenny from season 1 and they just couldnt kill him.
If the only Kenny you saw was this broken and violent old man, who gets angry at you for disagreeing, you wouldnt side with him. Its like Larry, we dont know his history and why he is so bitter, so its very hard to like him.

Its really hard to accept the fact that majority of humans in this planet are unintelligent, but i guess some people like to side up with violent, reckless murderers, who dont learn from their mistakes.
wasn't an answer to me or people who like Kenny in any way.

I think you're probably the most ignorant person I've met in a long time.
Hey , if you like Jane, I'm fine with it. She's a great character. Be proud of the decision that you made. But please, for god's sake, don't say that people who like Kenny are stupid.
This is just a video game, after all. Believe it or not, I actually have fun while playing TWD, I actually do stuff I wouldn't do in the real world. At this point though, I'll give up discussing this with you because you're clearly not out for a discussion, you want other people to say that you're right.
It's pretty sad that you think that way, because it makes it impossible to try to understand where you're coming from. Since you basically said that I'm stupid..
Okay, so let it be clear - you think new players will be "punished" because they don't know Clementine's story etc.? Following your way of thinking you want to "punish" fans of The Walking Dead (who played both seasons) by deleting their favourite (or one of the favourites) character? Your logic is wrong. I mean what's the point of starting to play episodic game with multiple seasons at 3rd of 4th season? If someone wants to fully enjoy the game and understand the story he/she should play every season starting with the first one.
sigh
I guess you're right.
Hell , I didn't know how to get through to lexi at first.
Kept trying to debate with here and my comments were getting deleted.
So I left it , there's no reasoning with trolls I guess.
Exactly. The best thing is: Flag an obvious troll post as trolling, make your point, and let it go.
Hey, there are so many other things you can do than discussing with ingorant Kenny/Jane fans who insult each other. Learn cooking. I mean, it's so great to be able to cook in real life. It's much better cooking in real life than in a video game. I've never seen a man seducing a woman by saying. "He, my cooking skill in WOW is at 140."
sigh

Its not my fault that Kenny is better pick for stupid person. Stupid person would stand up for the baby and try to protect it.
Jane on the other hand doesnt care about the baby that much, so people who understand that the baby would just risk your life in zombie apocalypse (a burden which should be left behind) can more easily identify with Jane and pick her instead. Those who pick Jane tend to be more rational/objective than those who pick Kenny. Kenny wouldnt be ready to leave relative behind like Jane, which is irrational thing to do.
I think you're probably the most ignorant person I've met in a long time.

Idk, I'm pretty attached to Clem, when she is sad I fell sad, and when she's happy I feel it too... maybe too adicted but .. Idk I just love her
Plus, there are steam and psn sales where you get the first and second season for about 5-10$ each. It's not that big of an investment.
I agree 100% !

Yeah, right. People should just stop producing stuff after the first game. It takes about 50 hours to finish up Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Not really. My cousin started with the second season and he sided with Kenny throughout the entire game ._.
How am i supposed to believe something like that?
....
facepalm
Yeah do that.
Is it really so hard to accept that there are actually people who like Kenny?
bullshit I would agree if Clem's story was actually over but its not
there is much more to be told in my opinion

Seriously, you're taking this way too serious and way too far. Flagged as ofensive, because you basically describe all Kenny Fans as unintelligent.
I didnt talk about Kenny fans on that. I talking about majority of the people on this planet.
I really think that christianity did some cruel stuff, but it's giving people hope.
But at the cost of what this hope was given?
Don't you think that Detective Conan is dragged out too much, too?
huh?

Here's a new protagonist: playing for which we gather a group of walkers and go in search of Mike, Bonnie and Arvo
Well i was just implying that most of the people on this planet are pretty stupid, so statistically many Kenny fans are stupid also.
Thats why every successful long running series is removing the main characters of the story, so new viewers can start watching it. Wait what?
I think you're probably the most ignorant person I've met in a long time.

But it's so tempting!
