Unrealistic Details

  • Does that mean we get our very alive character luke back in season 3?

I guess we shouldn't abide by the laws of physics since this is a game. Since this is a game, Clem should be able to jump twice in the air just like Mario.

  • I think the Clementine getting shot could be explained by the caliber bullet she was shot with and what kind of bullet it was. Like, a .22 steel perpetrator bullet is meant to just go straight through whatever it hits. But if you have like a .308 caliber bullet, she'd be dead.

As many inconsistencies as there are in vidya games, thats kinda what makes them fun/dramatic.

  • Another example is Nick being shot in the shoulder while running through the walker herd and not even being fazed by it.

Well, You put AJ in danger All while standing outside, during a blizzard, and the baby fully exposed... Kenny being sliced in the stomach

  • Water jugs are pretty damn heavier than they look!

Clementine can't lift a water jug, but can hold a baby on her injured shoulder and a (most likely) heavy bag of supplies in the other.

Carver can get shot in the shoulder in S2EP2 and he acts like nothing happened.

  • That hatchet looks like a penis.

She's secretly a fable. Fables are nearly immortal...

  • Everyone getting so angry/upset all the time. Scenes like the Campfire should've happened a bit more often tbh.

when using the nail file to make a fire, a piece of flint magically appears, making the nail file redundant because any piece of steel would do, like a knife

  • One thing that really pissed me off is the sarita incident. U dont amputate an arm in the middle of a herd, the victim will scream and even if she doesnt, the smell of fresh blood will draw the walkers anyway. I chose to kill the walker instead, hoping that she would be rushed off the scene and she was. Once a safe distance away, you sever the arm and prevent it from bleeding out. They didnt! Sarita would still be alive if they did. Stoopid

  • Like Clem and Jane ambushed Arvo. They deserve to be shot aye?

Myeah, getting shot by a rifle at point blank pretty much blows off your shoulder... But anyway :P Kicking in a locked door as an adult i

  • yeah it doesn't have to be amputated that second, quickly is best, but not in a zombie horde

  • If we stole his meds, yeah we did deserve to get shot.
If we didn't. They still ambush us and try to kill us.
We retalliated and won. Even if we stole the meds, there is no need to keep Arvo alive imo.

  • The fact that guns seem to have unlimited ammo half the time.

  • I don't know why you'd want to kill him. He's not going to limp after the group

  • Really? The zombie Clementine lifted off her seemed pretty much all bone. :/

but she was still probably lifting like 40kg, and considering she couldn't lift a water bottle with her full body (believable) that was from about 15-20kg it doesn't work that she could lift the body the way she does

  • Another unrealistic detail: Zombies.

  • Its nothing personal. In any normal situation i wouldnt want to kill him. But it is the ZA. Trust no-one. Season 2 taught us that.

  • Clementine got lucky, real lucky. She got shot close to her heart though. Actually thought she died and S2 would all be a dream. :-T

  • Yoshili is cool! But I prefer Naomi and Seiko.

Hey thanks! He's my favorite too! I was hoping someone would know where he was from!

  • lol. the game is unrealistic as hell the tv show aint i mean when carl got shot he freaking got pushed down and nearly died and that was a PIECE of a bullet because it went through the deer and then carl so that deer actually saved carl and hell clem takes a WHOLE bullet and surived with ease lol very unrealistic indeed telltale.....

  • I Know right! and same goes with lee when he got bit he should have cut it off immediatly! he would be alive right now like reggie did

  • In Ep4 Buricko had the AK while Vitali had the shotgun but in Ep5 their guns are switched.

  • I'm 16 and STILL can't lift water jugs =_=

  • It's just her shoulder, there's not a whole lot in there. When they say it passed right through, nothing important got damaged. She'd actually been lying on her back for half a day and it's quite possible that they already treated it. It's not like you'd see it on the jacket. Chest on the other hand contains a lot of important shit, and literally. It's also possible she shot him in the kidney.

Clem was not shot with a military grade rifle mounted with a scope. It was a hunting rifle. And guns don't knock you back, Clem has way more mass than a bullet. No matter how high a bullet's velocity or kinetic energy gets, it can only perforate faster and harder. Bullets just don't have the mass to push things hundreds of pounds heavier by a significant distance. What happened was perfectly believable. I mean by that logic, how many walkers and bandits did Lee shoot and not knock back a meter? They all dropped to the ground too.

  • Their guns didn't switch... their bodies did.

  • No, they switched guns.

  • I chuckled when they said that because, The entire franchise is unrealistic. I mean the dead up and walking is a oxymoron in and of itself at best. The dead do not walk and the walking are not dead. If the title is pure fantasy then I just take it as everything else being fantasy and does not have to be 100% actual factual every time.

All the things you said... and that -at the start of episode 5- everybody of our group is alive and only Mike is shot in the shoulder. (And in Playing Dead they said they didn't want to bring back Christa because The Walking Dead is "realistic")

  • hey often share the same cartridges.

    There is a big difference between a 223, 308, 300 mag, 444 whatever to a .22 LR

Sniper rifle/hunting rifle are just designations for the intended purpose of the rifle. They often share the same cartridges.

  • In the game it looks like a .22 LR but it kicks like something bigger. A .22 LR never would have knocked Clementine back the way it did in episode 2. They kinda screwed up on that.

  • Can never unsee O_O

That hatchet looks like a penis.

  • Well, technically the bones in the forearm are thinner then the ones in the upper arm and leg, so I guess it would be easier to hack through? Maybe?

And Reggie evens mentions Mike needed 3-4 hits to hack his arm off. It goes to show Clem is a real badass.

  • And yet they brought back Kenny? I didnt realize running unarmed through a herd of walkers was easier then dodging two dudes in a dark forest...

  • Who cares? It is a video game... I actually liked it. Made me a lil proud. :) Though, I didn't even reach for the pistol and watched the alternative happen.

  • Agreed.. Although, watch a tele show called Through the wormhole. There is an episode that looks into that. Seems it might be more realistic than one thinks.

Kenny asking Clem after being nearly frozen to death to come outside in the cold and help him with the car. Running on frozen lake and no one falls &/or ice breaks. Bonnie survives being in water longer than Clem or Luke. A walker floating long under to grab Luke. The baby not dying. Wind turbines never drawing walkers until the cabin group arrives.

  • bone is heavy, plus not all bone still a lot of flesh, and 40 kg is very light for an adult sized thing
