First season's subtitle part was way too better
as you see in this pic ''choice bar'' or whatever you call it, is plain and it was annoying for me when i started season 2 but it didnt really seem to bother me as my eyes got used to it till the end of season 2, but it would be better if Telltale make it look like the old one or atleast they should let us choose on options that which one is better for us to play with. anyone agree with me?
edit: and using the arrow keys to pick what i want to say was making it realistic doing it with mouse is just annoying

Season 1's choice bar is plain and boring.
I like season 2 better.When you have a few seconds left,its faster using the mouse than the keyboard.They should let you choose which one you want
i'd rather it be plain than covering the half of the screen
Right?
Season 2's dialogue choices are easier to NOT miss and you can choose rather quickly than having to scroll up and down.
well, we're already using mouse for searching surroundings theres no point making players choose what they want to say with mouse it makes me feel like im playing half-life or any kind of tps game with my fingers on w-a-s-d keys and my other hand on mouse
I prefer season 2 layout because it's easier to chose between the options fast.
Honestly, I thought just the opposite. When I replayed season one I was actually a bit annoyed by having to use that mouse wheel thingy.
it feels much better when you use arrow keys like picking what do you want to say in your mind and say it with hitting the enter button
Hm. Well, whatever you like. I think season two did improved that a whole lot.

Guten Tag, Gustav. Wollen sie eine Weißwurst mit Sauerkraut zum Frühstück?
Sie lernen wirklich Deutsch? Finde ich super. Woher kommen Sie denn?
Bisher klingt das, was ich so lese, ganz gut.
Ja!
No, seriously. What prevents Telltale for allowing us to chose between the systems and making the system of Season 2 usable with the arrow keys?
Couldnt press Pause on season 1. Which imho was a better choice. So we had to make the decision on the spot. Instead of being able to think about it for a while. RL doesnt do that either :P
The engine primarily.
This is similar to how Season 1 models will never work in Season 2 unless converted.
There is a point.
You're just lazy in using the mouse.
The models thing I can understand, but just having a option to change the dialogue system is really that big of a problem?
No, not really.
They can implement it into their engine since they made it in the first place.
But I doubt we'd get this feature since they upgrade their engine per game.
Season 1 --> Season 2/ TWAU --> TFTB
Erst vor einem Monat? Dann sind Sie bereits sehr gut
I like the season 2 style better.
but at least the story plot makes a lot longer, more exploring and not boring.... and the season 1 writers are better than season 2's tbh![Alt text]
( "Optional title")
why they needed to change the writers anyway? theres no point at all. im not telling that season 2's writers suck but season 1's writers have already proven how talented they are, we might have played so different season 2.. and im annoyed about that they changed the graphic engine also but whatever.
Not eveything has to make a major impact the audience, what mattered is if their customers like their products and so on.
Graphic engines are recommended to be updated (once every 1 - 2 years) because of how fast technology is growing.
Xbox 360 --> Xbox ONE
PS3 --> PS4
too better? me too very plenty
yeah exactly... but either way i kinda don't like season 2 that much... and the ending was so messed up and that's the reason why most of the recent threads topics are getting more shittyer....
maybe yeah... i'm not gonna look forward in season 3....
Sean Vanaman, who wrote most of the episodes of Season 1, left Telltale to make his own game company.
Mark Darin, who wrote "Starved For Help" of Season 1 is working in Season 2 as additional art desgin.
Gary Whitta, wrote "Around Every Corner" of Season 1 is writing different movies as of the information that I was given/
This kinda has to do with the topic, but when choosing season 1 choices they would jumble them around so if one choice was assigned to the A button it would change it to the X button in a rewind or other play-through (accidently choosing a choice I already picked thanks to muscle memory). So I have to give props to Telltale for fixing?? this issue. I should note that I played this game on a console so I don't know if the same thing would happen on PC.
