Whats with these double standards?
[Mod edit: In order to ensure civil discussion regarding the Pizza/Ice Cream choice, I have created a Civil Character Discussion Megethread. In order to ensure there is no drama, I am locking all other threads about the choice - old and new alike. Please keep discussion in the Civil Character Discussion Megathread. Thanks! - Blind Sniper]
When Jane does something for others, she is selfish.
When Kenny does something for others, he is selfless.

How long've you been on the forums? Kenny fans are full of double standards. Hell, I think everyone here has double standards.
Please no. Let's just stop making threads on the topic, it's been discussed to death and it only ends in insults and drama.
1 week.
We have a lot of time before season 3... I'm afraid there are MORE threads to come :c
When i came here, this was already going. I just joined in.
Zyke have you tried Killing Kenny then leave Jane? And then Kill Jane and leave Kenny? Compare those endings and you should realise the difference.
I think the debate is more polarised by the fact you choose sides then insult eachother.
When you kill Kenny and leave Jane she begs you not to leave and says she can't do this without Clem. When you leave Kenny he lets you go because he knows he can't take care of you anyway, which is why I killed him in the first place.
Can we please be done with these Kenny V. Jane threads already?
Totally not the way I see it.
I don't understand why people hate Jane so much...![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
I was really, really disappointed that she manipulated me into killing Kenny. I wanted Clem and Jane to have a big sister/little sister relationship but she made that impossible when she proved how crazy she was. I don't hate Jane though.. I'm just really disappointed she turned out to be something other than what I expected.
No matter what you do, Kenny says that Clem is right. Obviously Kenny doesnt trust his judgement anymore and even he knows that he is too dangerous & unstable.
Most Kenny fans are like this, they don't change. (KEYWORD: Most)
"If you love something set it free". Don't beg them to stay because you can't live without them.
Oh? Funny how it's Kenny fans that are at fault here. No mention of Jane fans here, they are the saints and their point is always correct.
Talking about the double standards here... Urgh.
So its wrong not wanting to be alone in world like that?
No but in this case it makes her selfish and Kenny selfless.
Makes more sense if the saying was "If you love something, never let go of it, because you might never get a second chance."
Never claimed Jane to be saint. Kenny fans are the ones that try to discredit/ignore everything good & selfless Jane has done.
in this forum, there are 3 beliefs
With Kenny 50 %
Against Kenny 49 %
People who knows that both sides are reasonable 1% (that's my opinion ^^)
so it was in season 1 and now it's in season 2
The point is you are being greedy and selfish if you want something for yourself when it/the person needs space away from you to grow and love life.
Jane fans do the same towards Kenny, but it is fairly easy for you to ignore that. It's easy to blame one side for the same shortcomings you have as well and claim it's their issue only.
Only reason Kenny is ready to let go of AJ and Clem is because he is reckless and dangerous and he understands that. Jane however doesnt put Clem in danger all the time like Kenny.
Exactly so he let's them go because he loves them.
There's no way to prove it was selfless. Killing Kenny and leaving Jane even suggests it was all about her.
Kenny puts Clem in danger, Jane doesnt. Jane has no reason to leave her.
Maybe because it is, I can't make a post about supporting Jane without getting attacked by multiple pro-Kenny fans "OMGURD JANE IS SELFISH" "UGH JANE LEFT DA GROUP" "WOW JANE KILL HER SISTER". Now I'm not saying some Jane fans are like this, but most Kenny fans are like this.
Theres this other double standard Kenny fans have, they say its okay and completely understandable that Kenny went into a blood crazed rage and tried to kill Jane, but they say it was so wrong for Jane to do the same, they say she just wanted to kill Kenny and that was that, all because when Clem told Jane to back off, she refused. Well first of all, after Kenny took the first swing, Jane backed up, took her knife out and told him not to come near her, then she sheathed her knife showing she didn't want a fight but Kenny attacked her anyways, after he smashed her head against the glass, with enough force so it cracked, then he was trying to suffocate her. Thats when her instincts would take control of the rest of her. Her body understoof her life was in serious danger so her flight or fight instincts took over and she had no control. If you've ever been in a fight before you would have likely experienced fight or flight and you understand how insanely hard it is to control yourself.
Way to make yourself feel superior
I disagree, Jane kills Clem's family in a truly detestful way(lies, deceit). How is that not putting someone in danger?
Belan said that Jane put her knife away so Kenny would feel comfortable to have fist fight. Some people are quite delusional.
But Jane never forced Clem to come with here, she just tells her that she can't do this with her. Kenny would've never let Clem and AJ go until after the fight because he realized he can't take care of them anymore.
"Doing something for others"
Results in either her or Kenny dying, and AJ endangered. As well as Clementine going through emotional trauma.
Hmm...I wonder why she's selfish.
maybe.
But it don't help in the end ... had to choose one side
Yes Jane says she can't do this without her (selfish), do you think Kenny can? I don't, yet what he say is very different.
"I can't do this alone. Is that what you want to hear?"
Fist of all, everyone is selfish, so thats a bad argument.
Kenny tries to murder Jane for his own selfish needs (revenge). That is selfish and insane.
Have to agree with you here Zyke.
Again, Kenny says that after the fight.
Would you let your sister/brother leave if she said she wanted to leave you? Jane didn't force Clem to go with her, she chose to let Clem go where she wants to go.
