What are your favorite primary weapons in the apocalypse?

If an outbreak did occur, what weapon would you choose as a primary weapon? ( note: you can have multiple ideas)
Mine would be either An M4A1, AK47, AK74U or A Colt Single Action Army revolver. What would you want your primary weapon to be?

(Note: you can do melee weapons too... I just prefer guns.)

  • .45 Smith and Wesson Handgun, Ar-15 Automatic rifle with a bayonet attached at the end. As for weapons not requiring bullets, I would carry a tactical knife, an ax (useful for plenty of reasons) and that's about it.

  • Colt Python, Machete, Sniper Rifle.

  • Katana Tanto and explosive shurikens

  • I know nothing about weapons, honestly. I'd just use everything I can.

  • Smith & Wesson .45 revolver. A 30-06. My 20 gauge shotgun. A 9mm. A tomahawk of hatchet. Machete. My Winchester knife. And my hat.

  • Lee's shoes.

  • " aim towards the enemy "

  • Good luck getting the gas to run that thing.

  • I wonder... wouldn't high heels be good for killing Walkers? Stabbing them through the eyeball into the brain with the heel...

    Lee's shoes.

  • I'm just kidding because Lee did use his shoes as weapons for so many times. Heels, even if they can reach the walker's brain, will also be easy to get stuck...

As a gun I'd like a high capacity pistol with a noise suppressor, so I wouldn't have to reload it too often and it doesn't do so much noise. A crossbow, an assault rifle and a sniper rifle are good too.

As a melee weapon I'd like a light long-range weapon (like a machete or a tomahawk), easy to manage even with one hand and keep a distance form walkers.

For you I'd recommend a Glock G30 with an after market magazine extension. And for the rifle I'd go with a 30-06 with a Nikon scope. Crossbows, although silent can be a pain to reload, so I'd recommend a Barnett raptor fx if I had to recommend a crossbow.

  • If you want an easily concealable gun get a 380 auto.

  • A 30-06 might be a bit of overkill, no?
