Michael Madsen is very famous, actually. Just look at his filmography.

I should have seen Carver's death coming from a mile away. I guess it was just too expensive to keep this guy around for too long.

  • Michael Madsen.

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000514/?ref_=nv_sr_1

A very decorated career spanning almost 200 movies and television credits to his name. You may not recognize his name but he has a very recognizable voice that I picked up on instantly.

Resovoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Species, Free Willy, Thelma and Louis, and Sin City are just a handful of his notable roles.

He's also lent his voice to various projects such as Dishonored and Green Lantern animated works.

    The man is F-ing AWESOME!

Michael Madsen as Mr. Blond made Carver seem like a saint.

I can only see Carver in front of me when I hear his voice now...

Carver was a saint next to Mr. Blond.

  • I been playing Dishonored where he voices a character that plays a rather big role in the story. He shows up says a few lines and there's a part where you battle him and then he runs off and you find him injured and I expected more lines before killing him but sits there super silent. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out why. They didn't want to record any more lines than they had to lol.

  • Well, Kenny deserved his vengeance, just as Carver deserved to die...

Daud. His name doesn't give anything away. I never heard much out of him - I stopped time and shot him in the head.

He said a few things to you when they brought you to the sunken slums and he tosses your gear down a pit. I tried to stop time on him but it didn't seem to affect him. In fact he kept using stop time as well!

Umm... That was from Kill Bill? Michael Madsen said that Uma Thurman deserves her vengeance as much as he and Daryl Hannah deserve to die.. Didn't you see Volume 2?

How's that a reply to my comment?

  • Haha, I'm pissing myself laughing imagining it's Carver ordering food before the apocalypse. Priceless.

  • A couple of sentences about how Corvo had to be disposed of because his motive was unclear but that's about all I heard out of him/

Yeah... Thats kind of my point. He's the assassin that killed the empress and he barely talked. Having such a big name actor voicing him would probably explain that.

But then again Susan Sarandon voices Granny Rags and she had a ton of lines.

He got his own DLC.They probably developed the DLC alongside the main game and brought him in for that.

  • I came here expecting Michael Madsen to start singing fabulously. I'm disapointed :(.

At least we got Carver ordering food in a restaurant.

  • Yes I did, it's been a while since I saw it last though. I agree on that!

  • Yup. I've been listening to this song on repeat (because I love Iggy). Also because of his voice.

  • Someone rip the audio of his voice!

(modding it in the game?? Yes? No?? Okay..)

  • That rip-off movie? Nah, why would I watch that?

    Of what?

Edit: Oh I googled it. I see.... This is a case of everything is a ripoff of everything else so we should never enjoy anything except Shakespeare.

  • Have you ever heard the saying "there's nothing original under the sun"? It had elements of earlier movies but it was the combination of elements that made it it's own movie.

  • If I am correct, he did a voice line in The Last of Us multiplayer. I was playing it last week and heard one of my team mates say something and swear it was Carver. Not my actual team mate doing voice on the mic, like when you pick up ammo or need some, the character will automatically say something.

  • Not sure if its been posted yet, but he's also in this one:

Such a shame that its a Justin Bieber video.

  • XD gotta love his voice

  • It really is a rip-off if it copies scene by scene, not just the plot or the mood or whatever.

  • No, it's a complete rip-off. Go watch City on Fire and then go watch Reservoir Dogs.

  • Doesn't even matter, it's about the praise Tarantino got for the movie and it's ridiculous that he ripped City on Fire off without crediting ANYTHING. That's just lame, you know.
