Carver was a waste of Michael Madsen. Could have been an interesting character had TTG given themselves the time to actually think his story through. Ended up a shoddy mess of a subplot that didn't really add anything to the season.

I bet the mullet was the main problem, and Luke tried to tell Nick to get rid of it but Nick liked it because Uncle Pete hated it and was always on his back about cutting it because he thought it was a dumb hairstyle.

Me too. But Pete seems like a guy who would hate mullets, and Nick seems like the kind of guy to grow a mullet and maintain it for over two years through the apocalypse just to tick off his uncle.
