I might be Pete's biggest fanboy. I'm not even exaggerating, Pete is my absolute favorite character of all Season 2. I liked him from the ve… morery beginning. Hell, I'd deemed him my best bro before he and Luke had even finished taking Clem back to the cabin when they found her in the woods.
You know, the haeadcannon you said talked about was like me and my uncle(Never has a dad) He would always complain about my hair being too long and that I look like a monkey, and I hated haircuts because they always made me feel so inchy when I was done.
Me too. But Pete seems like a guy who would hate mullets, and Nick seems like the kind of guy to grow a mullet and maintain it for over two years through the apocalypse just to tick off his uncle.
During that scene, I actually wanted Pete to become the deuteragonist of the game rather than Luke. He was like Lee, but just different enough to not seem like a ripoff. He would have been a fantastic guardian for Clementine.

Pete was easily my favorite new character of Season 2. Right off the bat he was very kind to Clementine and was understanding about the whole bite situation. It's a damn shame he was killed off so quickly. I think Season 2 could have benefited from keeping him around a bit longer. Rip Pete, you were an awesome dude.
Pete, he reminds me of Chuck. Both are kind-hearted old wise man (and both save the life of Clem). If Chuck has a newphew like Nick, I think he will try to educate him in the same way. I love them, and it hurts me to see both of them last for only such a short while.

It is such a shame that he died so early....I wish he have stayed alive at least until Episode 3.
He was a nice character, and probably the smartest too (from the cabin). I miss him. He taught me what a fubar is

Yeah, Pete would have been great for her. About the only two people who I think could do a better job with Clem would be Christa and Lee himself.
He was an awesome dude, one of the first people to defend and trust you but also one to defend you in his last moments (determinant)
