Thoughts on reoccurring characters in s3?
It would be great to see some old faces, just like with Kenny in S2. All these characters have not been confirmed dead or determinant, so it's a possibility that they could come back.
Minor:
Andre(guy that stays with you if you decide to wait to leave for Hersel's at the beginning of s1)
Anna(girl at Crawford that was forced to have an abortion)
Clive(part of the anti-Crawford survival group)
Joyce(part of the anti-Crawford survival group)
Victor(one of the bandits that caught Christa and Clementine)
Ralph(one of the bandits that caught Christa and Clementine)
Lowell, Tyler, Vera, Tavia and Tisha(EXTREMELY minor characters at Carver's camp)
Less minor characters:
Lilly(leader of sorts of the motel group, murders fellow survivor and is abandoned on the side of the road)
Christa(one of the few survivors of S1, gets caught by bandits)
Molly(rock climbers that the group meets while finding a boat, knows city very well)
400 days characters:
Wyatt(stoner that is chased by Nate)
Eddie(Wyatt's friend, gets separated when Nate chases them)
Shel(older sister, part of Roman's group)
Becca(Shel's younger sister)
Vince(convict who escapes the prison bus)
Russell(boy that Nate picks up)
Nate(borderline crazy man that gives Russell a ride)
My thoughts:
Andre shows the fact that he is easily influenced by emotions, and is most likely dead.
Anna probably died when Crawford fell.
Joyce and Clive wouldn't have lasted so long without a group, after it fell apart they most likely died.
Victor and Ralph were in dangerous territory and were down one man, they would eventually die without a larger group to protect them.
The minor Carver camp characters could have escaped and survived, but it is highly unlikely.
Lilly probably died directly after she was abandoned, as she had lost everything and was swarmed.
Christa could have survived, as she knows how to survive in this environment. If she managed to find food and shelter she would be fine(and escape the bandits).
Molly is still probably alive. She can get out of almost any situation by climbing, and knows the city well.
Eddie is most likely dead along with Wyatt, neither of them really knew what they were doing.
Becca was very rash and probably died, and if Becca died Shel wouldn't be able to bear life without her.
Vince knew how to use firearms and didn't let his emotions get in the way of anything, he could survive.
Russell was young and preferred solitude, which could have been his demise.
Nate was cocky, but he knew what he was doing and I wouldn't be too surprised if he was still alive.
I think Vince, Christa, Nate and Molly are the only survivors, but Molly probably won't ever be seen again, seeing as her current location is so perfect for her lifestyle.
Thoughts and opinions on who could be in S3?
Also, keep in mind most of what I said in here is based on opinions, so not all my statements might be true.

They are set in the same universe as the game, so I think it is canon to the comics. Christa is likely to return, since she was the closest to where Clementine is now.
So as long as reoccurring characters don't hinder other character's screen time and character development, and is not brought back for fan-service, I welcome it.
If I had to choose, Christa is the one that should come back and become part of the main character instead of a side character. Her minimal role in Season 2 and her eventual disappearance from the story was one of the weakest moments of Season 2. Hopefully she'll come back in Season 3 and we'll see more of Clementine and Christa's relationship, they need a bit of catching up to do.
The comics are canon to the game, and he is dead in the comics, where Negan killed him. Game glenn IS comic glenn. and they're both dead now.
I want Molly and Christa back. Perhaps Lilly too. Sadly, it's just unrealistic to have them all come back and it will probably never happen

Yup, in the 2 seconds we saw him I was drawn to his character.
His best quality was his ability to nearly shoot Clem and Lee but not a zombie Chet...
Still, best character in the whole franchise.
If any of those characters are still alive, the most likely ones would be Molly, Lilly, and Christa probably. A lot of the stronger female characters seem to end up being left unknown at one point or another (Jane and Bonnie can possibly be as well). Maybe some of the people from Carver's camp (including 400 Days survivors if they went). I also wouldn't be surprised if Nate was still out and about.

And as others have mentioned, Hershel and Glenn are long dead by this time. Both get killed by the "Big Bads" of their arcs: the Governor and Negan, respectively. But it's okay, because they are both memorialized in Maggie's baby.

It's a bit like Carver's death but a lot worst.
