Retail Version Release Dates Announced (Console & PC)

The release dates for the boxed / disc versions have appeared on Amazon.

  • Xbox 360 and PS3 (North America) - October 14, 2014
  • Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (Europe) - October 17, 2014
  • Xbox One and PS4 (North America) - October 21, 2014
  • Xbox One and PS4 (Europe) - October 24, 2014
  • Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (Germany) - October 24, 2014
  • Xbox One and PS4 (Germany) - October 31, 2014
  • Playstation Vita (North America) - December 2014

For those who wonder why Germany has a separate release, Europe has a rating system called PEGI. Germany has it's own rating system called USK, that's why we get it a couple of weeks later.
The german version will of course feature german subs. So for all the people who've been asking about german subs, that's when you'll get them.

I have already pre-ordered the PS4 versions of Season One and Two. This is gonna be one hell of a replay. :P

    They're not for download. You get a box with a disc, and the disc contains all episodes of the season.

    PC release dates added for UK and Germany. Couldn't find a US PC release date so far, but you can assume it'll release on October 14 alongside the 360 and PS3 version.

    Haha we in germany always need to wait longer for the release. That's the reason why I buy my games online on Steam :P

    The UK is good to me, because i live in Hungary. I have the box version of The Walking Dead S1 + 400 days. I hope i can buy the box version of the WD S2 for PC.

    well this is fucked if I knew it would come so early I would not see those lets playes I wachted since I finished episode 2 ended because I didn't have mine PS3 anymore

    A Vita retail version will be released at some point in December 2014, a final date hasn't been announced yet.

    I hope we get a collectors edition, picking this bad boy up as soon as it comes out.

    An edition with the second compendium would be nice & go great hand in hand with the first collectors edition.

    That would be pretty good. I really wish they contained steel book cases for the game with some new art exclusive for it.

    Think there will be a Game of The Year edition? If so I'll probably wait until then to get that disc version only because I have the season 1 game of the year edition disc.

    I think they'd only publish a GOTY if there'll be a DLC. Otherwise it'd be unnecessary.

    It makes me wonder if they gave season 1 a new fresh set of paint or at the very least fixed some of the minor bugs that plagued both seasons (Clem rolls her eyes in the back of her head * shudders * or objects in the character's hands would vibrate around).

    Wenn man sich die deutsche USK-Fassung holt, sind auf der Disc dann deutsche Bildschirmtexte und Untertitel drauf.

    Traurig dass in Deutschland noch nichtmal ein Release für die Next-Gen Ports angekündigt wurde. Ich habe mir schon die UK-Fassungen für PS4 vorbestellt und warte jetzt mal gründlich bis die guten Discs hier eintrudeln^^ Wolf Among Us kommt im November auch dann noch für PS4.

    Gerade gesehen und oben hinzugefügt.

    Irgendwie traurig, wie das Spiel so abgestuft erscheint und zuletzt auch Deutschland erreicht.

    Wie es scheint Staffel 2 auch für beide am 31.10, aber wird keine Untertitel geben (zumindest stehen sie nicht drin)
