Kenny was the Good King Wenceslas

Remember Sarita singing this song in Episode 2? Yep, that was an allusion to Kenny getting AJ and Clem to Wellington.
...
"Sire, the night is darker now, and the wind blows stronger;
Fails my heart, I know not how; I can go no longer."
...
"Mark my footsteps, good my page. Tread thou in them boldly
Thou shalt find the winter's rage freeze thy blood less coldly."
...
In his master's steps he trod, where the snow lay dinted;
Heat was in the very sod which the Saint had printed.
...
Therefore, Christian men, be sure, wealth or rank possessing,
Ye who now will bless the poor, shall yourselves find blessing."
...
Kenny is the King
Clementine was the Page
AJ was the Peasant that he was providing for.
I have to give Telltale credit, between this and the themes of family throughout the earlier episodes they really gave you everything you needed to make the right and just decision before working the seeds of doubt in Episode 4 and 5, where Jane played the role of temptress and deceiver.
If your Clementine killed Kenny she slew a Saint and basically became an agent of Satan. You lost faith in the true mission of Wellington and had to return to the eternal damnation and imprisonment of Howe's, forced to live life with sinners as a sinner, or wander the wastes so indistinguishable from the Walking Dead that you may as well be one of them.
Let us remember to keep all the Bad Clems in our prayers tonight.

So, what's your take on Sarah's comment to the song in relation then?
Sarah was dumb and got eaten, RIP.
Therefore:
Hail Kenny, full of boats, the stache is with thee. Blessed are those amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins Duck. Holy Kenny, father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now in the hour of our bite. Amen.
My Clementine is satanic?
Cool.
Lol @dis
Good theory, maybe true, I don't know.
I like to think no theories exist for this game like the popular purgatory theory. Because it's TWD and in no point are we given clues we aren't living in real life
That's a good take on the meaning behind the song and it's parallel to Season 2. I like it.
It is possible this is all an elaborate Matrix program, it would explain that glitch I had where an AK-47 kept emerging from Luke's feet.
Ya'll Kenny fans need Jesus.
I'm starting to understand why everyone hates "Kenny fans" so much in this forum...
As a result of spitefulness born of deep spiritual envy?
You're right.
Then I must be in good company, as I to have a mustache, and have had it for the last 8 years.
And ironically it's a Biker mustache, same as Kenny's.
True story!
I honestly can't tell if you're serious or if this is some kind of elaborate satire.
LITTLE BIT OF COLUMN A
LITTLE BIT OF COLUMN B
Don't tell anyone, ok?
Thanks. A lot of people are upset that they didn't see the hints to get the good ending or think that there weren't enough, but they were hidden all over the place.
Some get bent out of shape about Kenny yelling at Clem in Episode 4 for example without noticing the statue they're under or the plaque that's on it.
If they paid attention to either it would have made it crystal clear to stay with Kenny.
Not exactly Dan Brown levels of secret texts if you ask me.
Like you said in one of your other posts, people are still trying to defend their shit sandwich ending. People should just admit they wanted Kenny gone and shooting him was their way of getting exactly what they wanted. (If you argue about doing the morally right choice, good for you. But I never liked Jane, so in the same sense I got to see her done away with and I was happy with that, and I'll admit I saw it like that.)
I was one of those peeps who lost my faith in Kenny in EP. 4, but that was because I was sure it was gonna be a Luke v. Kenny thing, and I had decided on Luke. But when I played EP. 5, I was with Kenny again when we had to clean his eye, and when he apologized to us at the power station. Poor man. But I'm glad it changed from Kenny v. Luke. The final decision was made way to easy IMO when I got to choose Kenny or Jane.
In the end, I didn't even care about safety, I just wanted my Clem to be with someone who loved her and whom she loved/felt familial attachment to. Besides, with all these posts going around about Wellington, if Clem went into Wellington and lost AJ or couldn't find a family or friends, she has lost Kenny forever.
Amen
What are you talking about? everybody loves Kenny, he is love, he is life..
Kenny is Jesus, you fool! The proof is right here!

Chuck Norris approves of this prayer.
Just for the record, I do have Jesus in my heart and I look at this Kenny 'religion' as something to giggle and have fun with.
kenny is my hero
Plot twist: All Clems are secretly Satan. I mean, have you ever seen the way she glares at people? That's not the face of mercy!
Not all of us. I like him sometimes, but I don't love him. I wasn't excited about him showing up, but I wasn't angry either.
Haha. I just love it. I never tire of seeing this.
Well now everything you've ever said makes perfect fucking sense. Still, great comparison though.
On the subject of being merciful: Clem's name is actually another subtle hint that you shouldn't shoot Kenny.
Clementine comes from "clemency" after all, which is near synonymous with mercy.
~so complex~
Haha made my day
Clementine
Clemency
Cli mency
Kil menny
Kill Kenny
ermahgerd
Oh my Kenny, you are a real shitbird.
Wow, interesting find! I would have never noticed this.
This had me laughing so hard.
Lemoncake you need serious help, you need to stop dissing the choices TTG gave us, you need to get over the fact that more people shot your motherfucking saint.
I think you have far too many religious connotations, it doesn't have to be represented with hell or heaven, sinners or saints, in my opinion those terms are stupid anyway, I think the link you made was good though.
Spoiler Alert: He is a troll, not serious.
sigh Yeah, I wonder why he isn't banned yet.
