The truth of the matter is, no matter WHO you picked
Be it Jane or Kenny,
They will die in Season 3.
Have a good cry about that for a good 30 minutes or so Kenny/Jane fanboys.

Not a fanboy of either (but like them both) but yeah, doubt they´re gonna live.

brace yourselves @Lemoncakes is coming
Thanks Captain!

Either that or they'll get the Kaidan Alenko/Ashley Williams treatment. They'll barely get any lines, and they'll play the same role as the other.
Yeah, I'm totally crying in my beer. ::eyeroll::
They probably won't even show up. It'll just be Clem and AJ on their own and Clem will say "Oh Jane? Yeah uh, see this family and their 'totally not biological kid' robbed and tried killing us, it sucked!
" and if it's Kenny she'll say "We came across some docks one day and he just took off in a boat. I threw some taco's at him, he still didn't come back."
It's likely Jane and Kenny might get off screen deaths.
Oh, God, I can handle them dying but please don´t pull a Nick with them, TT. Just...no.
Y...You mean Kenny will die eventually?
Ah, crap, I´m still sore over Luke. He was my favourite character besides Clementine. I´d have dropped Kenny and Jane for him in a heartbeat.
Ugh, pull a Nick? I hope they don't pull a Luke!
Kenny: Hey Clem take care of AJ I'll be right back, just gonna walk across this nice thin icy river-
Clem: NO!!!
Both would suck either way x_x
I´m still angry over Luke. He was my favourite character of S2 (besides Clem). I wanted a Luke ending. ._.
I can live with that.
I shot Kenny, and stuck with Jane...but only because it's suicidal for an eleven year old girl to be caring for a newborn baby with no supplies on her own, and Jane's the lesser of two evils from my point of view by a small margin, and I'm hoping to move on away from her as soon as I get the chance.
You dont know what evil means do you?
I was just saying that figuratively, not literally.
It's a principle, right?
Me too, I'd of killed for a Luke ending, or at the very least have him pull a Kenny so he could survive for another season. Kenny's ending is great, but I couldn't care less for Jane and the outcome with her. I was okay with her walking off and seeing her again another time x_x but now even her potential is wasted too because now she's determinant.
But yeah, Luke's outcome really wasn't well done![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
Honestly, I´d have dropped both Kenny and Jane for Luke.
I swear I considered my Clementine closer to him than either of the other two. He was built up the whole season, we bonded with him the whole season just for him to drown in a random lake which was perfectly avoidable?? What was the development for then?
Part of me is still hoping he pulls a Kenny, unlikely as it may be...
I think Jane is okay and I trust her to take care of Clem and AJ but I also stuck with her primarily because it seemed foolish for Clem to go off alone with a baby.
I believe they are going to change it up and make it to where they will not die
yeah, that feel. But jokes on them! I got the Wellington ending so it won't affect me, it would just kinda ruined the ending if we meet Kenny again and then he dies. But honestly it wouldn't surprise me...
Maybe telltale will make choices matter and Jane/Kenny wont die in Season 3 ;-;
They said it was for shock value in the playing dead episode if I remember correctly, but to me it was a completely cheap death for a character that shouldn't have gone out like that. In a way, it cheapened Luke's role in season 2 as a result. He was reduced to nothing but eye candy, there just to die to make us gasp, when all it did to me was think 'what the heck did you just do!?' It saddens me they used Luke like that because it makes me as a gamer unable to trust the storyline in a Season 3 now, because how can I like anymore in the series anymore if they pull off cheap deaths like that? Imagine if they'd done that to Lee or Kenny or Clementine even! That would've been terrible!
They manipilated us into believing Luke would be an important character and then throw a curve ball to have another character come in as the older sibling instead [Jane] that never had that same warmth or as strong dynamic as Luke and Clem had despite everything they did with Jane. If they'd really intended to do that from the very beginning, they really shouldn've...not T_T But if they had to, Jane should've been there from the very first episode with the cabin group, or even been there when Luke saved Clem. That's why the scene in that shark film worked when Samuel L. Jackson got chomped, because the remaining cast were there from the get-go, and perhaps I could've warmed up to Jane a bit better if I was given that extra time with her at the start of the season. The sad thing is, all I do is dislike her now because it really feels like she came back when she didn't have to and took Luke's place in the finale who suddenly just becomes mute in circumstances when he would've spoken up [like when Kenny is beating up Arvo, Luke says nothing! This was the guy who couldn't stand the idea of watching Carver get his face beat in. If he stepped in when Kenny was going to kill Arvo, wouldn't he of said something at a kid getting beaten up too? And then suddenly Jane's the one who's freaking out killing human beings, when she shot a guy in the dick 2 episodes before. I can let her attitude of not caring stuff go from Episode 3 because Clem softened Jane up, but Jane shot a guy in the dick without even flinching and let him to be eaten to death by walkers! How is stabbing a guy in the back of the neck who was shooting her friends and had full intent to kill them any different from that!? o_o]
And honestly? You're not the only one. Want to know how desperate I am for hoping Luke comes back alive? I researched the mammalian diving reflex after remembering incidents where have people survived drowning in cold waters after prolonged amounts of time and have made a complete recovery. Far as I'm concerned right now, that dude's got 40 minutes in that water until he's dead, dead. T_T unlikely as that is for somebody to save him in that time, it helps me feel less frustrated over the whole thing, and uh...it's a little more logical than hoping he becomes a merman or the moon shining on him and going 'you will become a Guardian now Jack-I mean Luke'
Speaking of which I really should get that movie ;_;
Clem will tell the story about how she killed kenny/jane...Clem: I had to. There can only be one star in the walkig dead
Was it on that 35 minute interview? I skipped over most of it, I probably should have paid attention. Shock value is the cheapest way to get rid of someone for sure. He was the ONE death I was angry about. I mean, I seriously considered people to be exaggerating on Nick/Sarah (though I can certainly see where it comes from, they were sorta bad) till Luke´s time came. I initially helped him and then rewinded desperatly to see if covering him would do any good. Covering him gave him an even worse death instead (at least when you help him, he gets a walker off Clementine) so I rewinded again. People would call it cheating, I call it looking it out for my favourite.
And honestly? If they ever drop that on Clementine, I´m done with the game.
See, I completely agree. I actually like Jane (I went with her) but she never compared to Luke. To me not even Kenny compared to him. Bringing Bonnie´s words back, he would have never been the bad seed of the group. That´s rare in the apocalypse, you need to keep those people around. He was so nice that it made you WANT to bond with him. In my case at least. What irks me is that I sat with him, I hugged him, I agreed with him every chance I got, I told him I´d come back for him and so much other stuff and then they laughed in our faces and said "it doesn´t matter".
Oh,yeah,I was surprised Luke didn´t say anything, seemed kinda OOC of him...I think they were trying to tone his character down for his eventual demise. They robbed his character for shock vaue. <_< Honestly, I shot Kenny (hope nobody sends me hate for this) but I still cried more about Luke because at least Kenny had a real journey with him. Luke was just...what was that?
Keep hope alive...it´s the one thing none of this can take from us (I miss you,Lee).I´ve seen those merman posts, haha. I´m hoping someone helped him too. I honestly don´t even care how he comes back, I just want him back. I mean, Kenny seemed to be done for in episode 5 last season and all we got was a "I got lucky, real lucky"...if TT can do it once, they can do it again. Please? ...Please,TT.
Confession: Never watched it.
I agree with both you guys' sentiments.
After Luke's cheap ass death, I was like

Amen, brother.
Do you actually have evidence to back this up? Do you work on the scripts for Telltale? Truth is we don't know yet for certain.
I'll bet you a Klondike bar.
HA telltale making choices matter.
That's rich. :P
Evil, being an abstract concept, cannot be used figuratively.
Then I retract my statement that I figuratively meant to say "lesser of two evils", and restate "lesser of two evils" as an idiom, not literally.
We're doomed.
Both adorable and assertive at the same time. ; )
