You should've seen my mother when she played the finale, she got bored towards the end. Seriously she asked me about 2 times some 10 or 15 minutes after Luke was dead 'how much longer is this episode going on for?'. My mom really liked Luke and she hated it when he died, her face was total shell shock [see I play the action parts for her because she's not that fast, but i intentionally didn't break the ice completely because I couldn't bear for her to see Luke floating like that.] Overrall she thought the episode was boring and depressing and got really annoyed at how they keep killing people off that she likes [she shot Kenny and went with the alone ending]. Apparently she really wanted Luke and Jane to become a thing or that Jane would come back in Season 3 with his baby after the porking incident XD yeah, I think she really ships them.
Even so, it was really sad that even she didn't like the finale or how Luke went out and we've been playing those episodes since season 1 together and have had a lot of fun too [and she was really eager to play the last episode that she kept bringing it up to me and she's not even much of a gamer!]. But I've pretty much said to her I'm not getting the next season and she's on board with me on that. So, sadly our fun days playing the TWDG together are over and I was really enjoying not telling her about the jump scares so she'd scream and toss the controller at me to go kill a walker for her.
yeah, that feel. But jokes on them! I got the Wellington ending so it won't affect me, it would just kinda ruined the ending if we meet Kenny again and then he dies. But honestly it wouldn't surprise me...
Kenny? Dying? not on my watch. I left with him so its just me and him now... He is the only one that has been there from the beginning that I can trust.. No more other survivors coming and trying to tell me he is crazy.. because my ending proved he wasn't.. he is family now and the only one I trust from now on.
If they die, then that makes our choice unimportant. The choice we made shows who you want your Clementine to be, to whether be with Kenny or Jane, considering their differences. If TTG kills them, then that'd be a major disappointment.
I don't know how TTG will handle season 3, but they better not kill them. They are more of a key to a 'new' Clementine. And I really like that and can't wait to see how TTG will make season 3.

I´m glad you didn´t let her see his floating body. That was just heartbreaking. Oh, she wanted Luke Jr.? Something to remind us of Luke, at least.

I did say in a post how maybe that incident could've gone down, to save myself repeating it just go here, my post is on the first page, it's got the picture of the trio on it.
I think that's one big factor too, I'm scared of Clementine dying in a really bad way, and just like I've said before, how can I really let myself get attached to any of these characters when nearly every single one keeps dropping dead? At least in the TV series people stuck around for a little bit longer. But with Luke they really did set him up and I really do think he did have potential to last another season before knocking him off. I think that's why I didn't like that type of manipilation done on him, because if Clem makes friends with anybody in the future like that now, or they appear to be important again to the main storyline, how can I enjoy watching that when all I'll be thinking is 'are they manipilating it again? Is this guy going to drop dead at any second too?' or how can I enjoy viewing those any plot points building up with them if they're just going to go completely nowhere?
I mean there's a couple of other poor deaths in this season too, like Sarah's second death isn't that good to me, and Bonnie's possible demise at the lake doesn't even get a mention, she's simply gone after everything being built with her too. Season 1 just handled deaths so much better, there's not one that comes to mind that bugs me like the few in this season did for me and it's sad to say that because season 2 really started strong. I love those first two episodes so much!
So yeah, I hope Luke fell in with a lucky coin and a couple four leaf clovers in his pocket, because I'd rather see them turn that around and undo that bad death somehow, than play the next season and see another character built up like him get a poor shock value death as well x_x sounds drastic, but that's how I feel about it.

You have no idea how terrified I was when the "Oh my Darling" vine was up. I kept thinking "what if she dies?" for days. Wasn´t healthy for my mind at all. Oh yeah. Absolutely. The TV show still has Carol, Rick, Carl, Daryl and probably someone I´m missing from the original group. But here it´s just...Clem. And Kenny, if you chose that (but he´s determinant, so that´s a death sentence). I totally agree that they should let people live for more than one season. It´s going to get boring if everyone just dies or leaves (looking at you, Bonnie...). Maybe I´m just really bitter about Luke...

I looked up both death scenes and the more cruel one seems like the better one (Luke actually mourns it and you can talk to Jane about it). In the other one it´s just Clem going "Oh well.". Or me saving Nick for him to get three lines in episode 3 and die off screen in episode 4, I actually adore Season 2, TWD has a special place in my heart, but I do think that they need to slow the episodes down a bit. The fast pace is okay but there are some moments where you just need to slow down and think things over and it mostly doesn´t happen.
