Vote and post your answers below. Explain why you choose the choice you did.

So, let's just get it out people. Just admit you didn't like Jane, or you didn't like Kenny for whatever reason. Here, I'll go first!

I'll admit it. I don't like Jane. So, I let Kenny kill her. I have my reasons, mostly because I just don't like her personality. I have the right to feel that way, because I sure as hell know a lot of people whom dislike Kenny for his personality, so don't even try to use your 'logic' to convince me she was or is a good person, to me, she's not. And when I thought she either left AJ or killed him, that was my final straw for her. I just plain didn't like her.

In Season 2, EP. 4, I plain didn't like Kenny. I was mad at him for going off on my Clem, and especially if you tell him your Clem shot Lee, how he acts is completely ridiculous and indifferent. As a matter o'fact, I was hoping he'd die before the ending of EP. 4 or in EP. 5. Then he gradually became more likable and I went with him again. And in the end, I stuck by with him 100%.

Oh yeah, and for the people who say they're trying to make peace in the forums, I've seen them doing the same tactic. Bullying. How is bullying others for their opinions making peace?

Let the crazy Kenny fans have their crazy Kenny love, let them follow him off the edge of the earth if they so choose to do so. Leave the crazy Jane fans to revel in the fact that they are on the majority's side and let them revel in the fact they think that their morally right decision is what makes them superior.

EDIT

I put the Kenny is Love, Kenny is Life thing as a joke, and it's the most popular choice right now. This is why us Kenny fans are viewed as Fanatics! I will now leave you with this...

Hail Kenny, full of boats, the 'Stache is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins, Duck. Holy Kenny, Father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now and in the hour of our bite. Amen.

  • I´ll admit I love both Kenny and Jane. I shot Kenny only because I didn´t want to allow the murder to happen.

  • I didn't like Jane because the game seemed to assume that I did. Episode 4 was building up this character as as emotionally scarred survival badass, and I simply didn't care. And the game didn't seem to realize that. She was literally just introduced, and I had no connection to her, and then Jane just became someone who kept bringing up her dead sister, tried to force me to abandon my friends, and finally kept antagonizing an emotionally distraught Kenny. "I see with my little eyes...an asshole. Your turn." That was the line that made me want her gone. Kenny might have been guilty as well for fighting back, but he was hurting, and just trying to help others. Jane on the other hand was stable but still she was just cruel and antagonistic to me. My Clementine didn't want an older sister, and Jane was not who I wanted of I had to choose. So I didn't pick up the gun.

  • It's good you can be tolerant enough to like them both and still uphold moral principles. Not many people on the forums can admit that.

  • I liked them both, but I prefer Kenny, Lee's best friend and also worst enemy.

  • Yes! This exactly. I recently replayed Season 1 and 2 in succession, and found that the Jane relationship was incredibly forced on Clem and us. And I don't think it was Telltale forcing it on us as much as Jane was forcing herself on Clementine. Jane was really trying to get Clem to sway to her side.

  • There´s an unspoken rule for some people here that you must hate one and love the other. I really don´t understand that point of view, really. Thank you.

Hail Kenny, full of boats. The stache is with thee. Blessed art thou among urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins, Ken Jr. Holy Kenny, Father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds, now and in the hour of our bite. Amen.

  • Kenny was dangerous and he needed to go. I would've driven away with Jane but the game got in the way of that.

I could tell that i was a setup so I let Jane finish the fight that she wanted to start, the only thing she proved in the end is that Kenny will go through fire to prevent harm upon Clem and AJ, that's good enough for me.

For the record, I actually liked Jane. I never wanted her as Clem's guardian but I had no ill will towards her and would have saved her if it didn't require shooting Kenny, it was just a stupid stunt she pulled and I suppose she got to pay the prize.

  • In my personal opinion, it's just the way some people are accustomed to debating nowadays. They think the main goal is to get the person to admit they're wrong and switch sides.

Debating should be about letting the opponent realize their own flaws in their thinking or logic, and trying to help them even look at things from a different point of view or mindset. Then choosing how they look at something from that point on. Honestly, I didn't like Jane and I didn't like Kenny in EP. 4, but Kenny redeemed himself and Jane never got to that point. I'm not saying she didn't have any good qualities or did anything good for the group, but she just wasn't who I trusted ultimately.

  • My relationship with Kenny in Season 1

    EP1: Best bro

    Half of EP2: Best bro

Second half of EP2: Worst enemy

    EP3: Worst enemy

    EP4: Worst enemy

    EP5: Best bro

I think Kenny and Lee's relationship is the best, besides Clem and Lee of course.

That's a good way to look at it.

  • same bro ^^ i like both

Just don't use this logic with some people, they'll assume you're insane and worship Kenny.

    Kenny is Love Though

  • Yup. This is why I don´t debate with anyone anymore and just roll with things. It´s not even a debate anymore, it´s simply a "I´m right, you´re wrong" kind of mentality and it honestly gets tiring.

That and the amount of insults that fly around this place for having an opinion in a video game decision.

  • It´s good to see, can´t seem to find many people here who do. It´s either one is Satan and the other is God.

    Newflash People.

Both are mortal humans with significant flaws. It makes people on both sides look like idiots when we use this logic in a actual debate.

  • I wish we would've had that choice ultimately.

I wanted to shoot them both. Here comes the hate.

  • Well, you can get them both killed. You don´t get to shoot both but...it´s something, right?

I wanted to shoot them both. Here comes the hate.

  • I couldnt decide so I let the timer run out.

Then I got the Kenny endings and now im like Kenny is love, Kenny is life. XD

I wish I could choose two.

  • You actually can. If you let Kenny kill Jane, you can shoot Kenny afterwards, but it looked stupid. I shot Kenny, and I wish I could shoot Jane afterward but unfortunately not. But I ended up alone :/

  • Um.. Thanks I love popcorn. :D

Yeah, if I had accidentally shoot Kenny in my play through, I wish the last dialogue option with Jane would've included, shoot Jane.

  • Yeah, I wasn't even going to let my Clementine pick up the gun at that point. It was like, they asked me to stay out, so I'm staying out bitches.

Haha! I should've included multiple choices, but I felt since we only got one ending one choice was fair enough.

I voted for "Jane was manipulative, and it was obvious that she wanted to provoke/kill Kenny". I've more or less always agreed with Kenny's way of thinking, in the times that I haven't, he's always made it up to me. I initially liked Jane, and I can honestly say she had me fooled up until she walked into the rest stop with that faux sorrowful act on in full force. I can trust Kenny to be honest with me, I can't trust Jane not to lie to me.

  • Yeah true that, it would have been better to choose to shoot one or the other imo.

    I agree.

  • I liked both. But I liked Jane over Kenny.. So I sent ol' man Kenny on a fishing trip with his boat named KatDuck.

  • They are right to assume so.

I killed Kenny because i thought that Jane actually lost AJ, i was pissed at her but i went with her because i didnt want Clem to be alone.

If i had to replay id let Kenny kill Jane and then leave Kenny at Wellington.

Jane and Kenny were both good folks, they just had flaws i hate when users say "Jane was evil" or "Kenny was crazy"

  • Jane is a hell of a character. Me and her have similar mentalities. I liked Kenny, Specially in S2, Killing him was a hard decision to me, But it had to be done.

  • "Kenny was a racist, hypocritical, redneck Christian and I always disliked him." I didn't pick this but someone did and I found it hilarious XD

As for my reasoning to letting him die.... I'll just quote Nick quoting Carlos "Luke, he's becoming a danger to the group.".

  • I love Kenny, and I hate manipulators. The choice was easy for me.

  • Yup. Me too.
