Zombie babies?
So, all through episode 5 I was quite worried that AJ would die, and that I'd be faced with having to put down an incredibly creepy zombie baby. This has made me wonder, has it ever been confirmed whether or not babies born after the outbreak do in fact get reanimated if they die? I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere. If they don't, it would of course mean humanity has a better hope of survival, unless whatever caused the ZA is still around and continously infects everyone.

I don't think it's ever explicitly mentioned that babies reanimate after death, but there's no reason to think that they wouldn't.
I've been wanting to see a zombie baby for years now. Since the first season of the walking dead show. I guess GOT is as close as I'm gonna get.
Well, it depends on what exactly is causing the zombie outbreak. A virus or bacteria can of course be transferred from mother to unborn child, but it shouldn't be a 100% certainty, so there could potentially be babies who are born uninfected, or even immune. If it's some sort of supernatural agency causing the ZA, then of course no real world rules would apply.
Well, it's unclear exactly what it is but the premise of the series is "everybody's infected," which would suggest that whatever is causing the outbreak is ubiquitous and unavoidable.
I've been haunted by the idea of zombie babies eating their way out of a pregnant lady ever since Lori mentioned that she is scared her baby might be stillborn.
I've been wondering about the same thing for a while.
lol, does anyone remember the 2004 Dawn of the Dead zombie baby, it just missed the mark so much. That scence build up was great, then the reveal of the actual baby made me laugh so hard.
Other than that, great movie.
That baby looked like it got beat it got beat up by a thug and wants to get revenge lol. I do wonder if babies born in the ZA based on Kirkman's universe have some type of resistance to bites. It's never been mentioned or acknowledged, but it's a complicated concept to discuss.
Was that the one where they are stuck in a mall? If yes, then that scene is the reason I cringe -every- time I see a pregnant lady in any kind of zombie movie.
Scariest scene for me was the obese woman's zombified facial features. The makeup artist did phenomenal with her look and it was a constant shocker to look at
All babies are damn zombies. But they're crying instead of moaning, though.
Nope... ^_^
In the intro to his first issue in the series The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman says this: "The Walking Dead will be the zombie movie that never ends."
By extension, this means that all babies born post fall of civilization are infected by default.
