Zombie bites in Season 2

Is it just me, or has there been a dramatic decrease in the variety of zombie bites? I mean, in season 1 it seemed like they would get you were they can, not to mention Brie's horrific death, but in season 2 it's almost always straight for the neck. It feels like Sarita and Pete were the only ones not bitten in the neck - but then so save them so they can live long enough to be bitten in the neck. Not to mention just about every single Clementine death - the neck.

  • Well, then that makes him worse. If he just wanted some chicken flavoured neck, that´d be fine. But as it is, it makes him a murderer.

    Be gone, you vile dog!

  • Clementine also can potentially get killed by being bitten in the stomach and on the wrist not just the neck and quite a few other ways in Season 2.

  • Mmmmmmmmmmmmm cookie...

  • Don't forget Lee's death's in Season 1 were similar, So in my opinion the amount of gore involved is the same. The main difference is that Clementine's death scene in Season 2 where she is pulled to ground and bitten in the stomach seems like a lazy repetive way in which she dies.

I think they were too scared to really get into "detail" with clem deaths because she's a kid. .but rhats just me

I can't help but notice that the walkers are starting to get smarter.

Don't look at me like that, I'll explain. One of Clem's death scenes includes a walker wrapping it's arm around her stomach. Why would it do that? To keep her from running away. It then uses it's other hand to cover her mouth. Why would it do that? To stop her from screaming, keeping it's prey for itself, and not attracting the other walkers attention. It bits down on her neck/shoulder (can't quite remember which). Why go for the neck? Instant kill. A person would choke, unable to breath, and then die, making it easy for the walker to feast on them as they won't struggle.

Remember at Howe's? Kenny and Mike were fighting in the expansion. Walkers managed to get in through the broken window. Go back and watch that scene. A walker lifts it's leg, puts it's leg in the room and then swings its other leg over, instead of doing the usual brain dead thing which is throwing itself in.

WE ARE DEALING WITH SMART ZOMBIES.

  • Either what you said is true or it is just a clumsy mistake by Telltale's motion design department who might of just not thought through it properly. In AMC's The Walking Dead TV show, the zombie's are the opposite of what you mentioned and quite dumb even though the TV show events takes place after the Game series events. So this could imply that the zombies mental brain functionality must be gradually decreasing.. Not increasing.. Hmmmmm.. Considering there both based on the comic books that doesn't add up.
