That is debatable, because we never see what happened in those nine days, but still, that´s not what I mean and you know that. Without Kenny pleading for Clementine and AJ to be accepted into Wellington, even saying that they could take the bag of supplies for him if that helps, is the only reason they got into Wellington in that ending in the first place. and imagine the first thing you get from kenny is him planing to call the horde down on them without knowing about the zombi camouflage, right after that brutally killing carver, while his beloved says "that is not the kenny i know. i thought i could save him", bonny and mike telling her how much they fear him and him shouting at clementine like that. she was not nearby whenever kenny acted rational, which mainly happened before duck was bit. to see him as she saw him, was the reasonable thing to do.
