The most messed up choices you've made

edited September 2014 in The Walking Dead

The most messed up choices I made were: taking food from the car, and watching Kenny kill Carver, but I have my reasons for what I did. What about you guys?

Taking the food from the car I felt was somehow justified in my head, but watching Kenny kill Carver was simply the joy of seeing that guy go, NO ONE SLAPS CLEM.

I don't think I've made a choice that I considered "messed up", although I accidentally watched Kenny kill Carver because I thought if I stayed I'd be able to stop him from doing it. I was wrong.

  • I'd say the one I felt the worst about was watching Kenny beat Carver. All the other choices I can live with or somehow justify in my head, but watching Carver be beaten to death was just out of pure hatred for the bastard. Still, I didn't want an 11 year old girl to see it, it'd be different if myself as a 22 year old woman saw it. But I feel like in a way, it shows Clem to never let anger or hatred consume her so much that she goes off and does something like what Kenny did, despite what Carver did to him.

  • I don't really regret anything except killing Danny St John. I mean he avoided a lot of pain, and I was angry in the moment, but Clementine saw it, and I let go of my morals in the instant. After that I never made the same mistake.

    Some "harsh" things I´ve done:

    • Helped Kenny kill Larry

    • Killing Danny St. John

    • Robbing from the car

    • Left Beatrice

    • Didn´t help Sarah with her chores

    • Watched Carver die

    • Robbed Arvo

    • Went for cover

    • Refused the family in

Some of these I did because I really thought I was doing good to the group/one person. Others, like watching Carver die, I have no excuse for...

I also didn´t kill the stranger, but I oddly don´t feel bad Clem had to do it.

  • Killing duck (probably because i was smiling and happy to finally get rid of him), Letting Clementine kill the Stranger, Going in the same table with Kenny (didnt know he only got worse over the years), Leaving the dog behind to suffer, Saving Sarah, taking the baby to safety in begining of episode 5, Helping Luke (i know how ice works, saw that coming) and thats pretty much it.

  • Sitting with Kenny isn't a messed up choice, you just saw him again and thought he was dead for 2 years. You enjoyed killing Robin? What's wrong with saving Sarah? And saving the baby?

  • Actually, he didn´t slap my Clem. I just tried to be nice and agree with everything he said till I could backstab him, haha.

  • I played season 2 from 3-5 episode, just so i would see what Kenny says if i dont watch him destroy carver (when he is beating Arvo inside the house). Well... He didnt say anything. Time well spent.

  • He was dead to me and i didnt like this new Kenny at all. Original Kenny was annoying sometimes but Kenny 2.0 was too damn crazy & stupid.

Who is Robin? If you mean Duck, then yes. Never liked that character and the headshot was great.

Sarah wouldnt have survived anyway, so prolonging her life was just pointless and cruel. She was too weak in mind and lacked skills to survive.

I dont care about the baby, but i didnt want the group to be prick about it, so i saved the baby myself.

  • Well while i was doing it, i wanted to trigger different emotions/dialogue options while talking with others in ep 4. First time you actually get some nice info about Jane and you can have that nice chat with Kenny about sarita inside the tent. He got mad at me because i told him to not be such emo and told him that "i had to shoot Lee". He just walked outside :D

  • I love Season 2 Kenny, a lot more sympathetic and likeable in my opinion.

I was indifferent towards Duck until he wanted to be Robin and told me to be Batman. You don't know who Robin is?

I thought saving her would be her first step on growing up

How could you not care about the baby?! I'll admit they do annoy me but he's just a ... well.... a baby.

  • I didn´t say it...but boooooy did I wish it. That´s exactly why I took my time to stay behind and appreciate Kenny´s work. Kenny is a man of art. :D

"See? You just proved my point right there, you'd think anyone would have the balls to say something like that?"

I also remember telling Luke that Carver deserved to be beaten to death, and told Kenny that I'm glad Carver died.

(though I liked him as a character!)

I also told both of those things to Luke and Kenny, actually. Luke was sort of surprised, haha.

Your most messed up choice is misspelling "messed".

  • Just fixed, I didn't notice it.

  • A wise man once said "You threatning me, old man cause you not gonna like how that goes. Put the fucking gun down before you really make me mad".

  • Helping Kenny kill Larry...

First one I remember, first one I instantly regretted.

  • And when Jane was telling how Carver maybe was a nice guy before the ZA.

    I was like:

    "LOL, no."

I also saw the Jane ending on youtube, and when she says she didn't know Clem could watch it, I would have said:

    "I'm glad I did."

    I got the Kenny ending.

Imagine Luke, Bonnie, and Mike hearing a joyful conversation about how happy Clem and Kenny are that they killed Carver.

    In the words of Lee:

    "Damn girl, that's cold."

  • Nah, maybe Carver wasn't as mentally unstable but I don't believe for one second he was "nice".

I actually got a Jane ending; that's what I picked. Doesn't make a difference because she doesn't reply, haha.

  • You gotta be cold to survive sometimes, team! Kenny and Clem would have to let them know.

  • What Clem and Kenny say is golden.

    Clem: I'm glad Carver's dead.

Kenny: We saw to that, didn't we? :D

  • Cutting off Sarita's arm.

That shit freaked me out when I just realized that I caused her pain that wasn't even nessesary.

  • After his knees got shot out, I hoping for an option to kick him in his face while he was talking.

Carver: No Shepard to gui- get kicked

Clem: Look at that, you are gonna get killed by "weak people"
