When Travis/The Teacher turned, that was the only friend Ben had left. From the start, dude had no one. No friends, no idea where his family was, scared to death of walkers, trying to do what he thinks is right but keeps fucking up even more.. Letting the lady die in s1ep3 without shooting her might be the only one I feel is a bit messed up, but I don't really regretted it either. As brutal as it sounds I didn't find it unreasonable to use her death to our advantage when it was inevitable anyway.

Mine was when I killed Danny St John and then I realised Clem was right there. Damn.
Also when I dropped Ben. Sure, he may have been a fuck up, but, I felt sorry for the guy.
