it could help to have a video like that. Maybe an optional clickable video in the main menue or semething similar. Just don't force it for people who play them all in one sitting.
Hmm...it'd possible and even likely if they eventually release all the episodes separately. But I think if they make it where you have to buy the whole game then there is no need for that.
As a general rule, they haven't done this with previous titles, but TMI episodes are linked more closely than previous titles. I think they will add a "previously" scene, but wouldn't be surprised if they don't. I think I would prefer if they didn't, tbh.

They could do it subtley in-context, like a "where have you been?" "well there were these strange winds, and these unicorns, and psychotic frenchmen..." conversation.
That might get slightly annoying in a full play-through, but it would work.
They could just have a little screen when you click start game, a little written piece like you get with your saved games (which has helped me sooooo much!!)
