Because Luke would probably not harm Kenny for Clementines sake. But then again Luke wouldn't "abandon" the baby in the first place so there wouldn't be a fight. But if there was a fight...
More importantly the water is colder than 32 degrees Fahrenheit/ 0 degrees Celsius. His core temperature would have dropped rapidly causing his organs to fail. The combination of freezing temperatures and drowning would have made it near impossible to revive him even with advanced medical intervention - simply pulling him out of the water isn't going to cut it.
Ah. Nevermind then. One thing I don't get is, why didn't both Luke and Clem just come back up through the giant hole they fell through instead of trying to break through somewhere else?
We spent the night in the house, so even if he did get out of the water in some way he would have frozen on the ice, if we hadnt have stayed the night there is a slim chance TT could have gave him "I got lucky status" but no..... hes gone....
And? Kenny restrained Mike pretty easily in Episode 3 and knocks down Carver with a simple punch to the face. Also, his endurance seems to be better that Luke. He fought and won against Jane with a cut on his abdomen, no weapon and only one eye and still handled Jane easily. His reaction speed is good enough to dodge Jane´s slashes and he throws Jane back against the sign of the Rest Stop without much effort. Kenny would easily defeat Luke.
My point is that his willingness to fight without talking is not what makes him strong.
Luke is pretty strong, too. He actually appeared to be larger than Kenny. Not to mention he still had his youth and he didn't have a fractured orbit.

It's a failure on the part of the writers. One good shot to his fractured orbit would probably cause a brain hemorrhage or even cause a TBI.
Yes, a shot. Did Jane shoot him? Nope.
His eye and the bone surrounding it are not the same thing. They are two separate injuries in a localized area. Soft tissue heals much faster than bone.
"Shot" as in a hit or punch. It's a colloquial term.
Oh, really? Well, then, seeing Kenny´s eye looked better in No Going Back, maybe it actually got better.

he did not survive unfortunately. luke was the only one in the cabin group besides pete that i could stand in the slightest way during my first playthrough i really feel like he deserved more justice then what he was given. shoulda been kenny vs luke in the end imo. hard choice would have been even harder
He should have at the very least been incapacitated. Aggravating that injury would have been debilitating at the least, potentially lethal at worst - likely lethal. If Luke had hit him in the eye it would likely result in massive brain trauma.

He really should have stopped at "I dunno what the fuck you're saying." If he doesn't know what the fuck I'm saying he can't know if it's bullshit or not.

Lee came down from heaven, used his badass-ness to save Luke, and will travel alongside him to find Clementine. Then, they will all live happily ever after. Calling it for season 3.

Yeah, but if there was 1 im sure Kenny would win. Luke didnt really seem strong to me, more like the guy that wanna talk it out.
Too soon

Not a chance..

Fighting without thinking or talking things out doesn't make somebody strong, it makes them stupid.
But Kenny is very strong in season 2
My point is that his willingness to fight without talking is not what makes him strong.

Gets out of Ice Water
Doesnt go to the house
That's exactly what I thought when they crossed that silly lake when it was clearly walkable around the sides ;_;

I think it actually started to heal, not sure tough. And yes what Alan said. Plus Carver messed up luke

His orbit had been fractured for less than 4 days. The bone would take more than a month if not several months to heal.
Luke and Nick went to heaven. or whatever.
Luke wouldn't have hidden the baby so there wouldn't have been a fight.
HAHAHAHAHA.
funny...
jk :P
Also , I liek your profile pic

Way to side-step the point.
So when Jane tried to poke his eyes out Kenny should have died?
I want him to be alive but he's most likely dead

Kennys reaction
He really should have stopped at "I dunno what the fuck you're saying." If he doesn't know what the fuck I'm saying he can't know if it's bullshit or not.
Yes he can.
He's kenny.
not possible hes was in freezing water for way to long
Do you see, Telltale? This is the result of you making Kenny survive the impossible.
By this logic, CARVER is still alive. Proof? His body didn't get eaten in Jane's endings. He was just taking a nap.
We'll see his faceless not-zombie in Season 3.
hE ISNT DEAD
Shit's getting dICEy
Their reactions when playing episode 5 thin on ice and Luke "drowns"

^You get absolute zero points for that one.
I guess things are starting to heat up
I don't get why people watch cartoon's....
