Him losing his hand does lead for some interesting things in the comics though. But it's probably not going to happen, seeing as Kirkman has… more said that cutting off Rick's hand, while good for shock, has probably been his biggest mistake with the comics.
I have.
And his beard, (Andrew Lincoln's), even though it's fuller, still looks good to me.
When I have a beard, I normally wear it on the… more fuller side, hence my opinion.
I've watched all the way up to the end of Season 4.
And to my knowledge, Season 5 hasn't started yet.
Wait a minute, are you talking about Andrew Lincoln, or Scot Wilson?
well yea all three are rick with the last one being what he looks like in the newest one
i would recommend you read them they are so much… more better than the show i'm not even a comic book guy either but twd and fables are two exceptions i just love them
Yeah, I think Rick and Michonne would be highly predictable. They should do something crazy and have Rick and Carol get together and leave Beth for Daryl :P
And while on the topic of Daryl, I always found him an intriguing character. Awesome backstory, complete badass, and loyal as hell to Rick. However, I just don't like how some fans portray him as the reason behind the Walking Dead. I just never liked it, but it doesn't change how I feel to Daryl, and probably the reason why I won't be crying like everyone else if Daryl dies.
I hope that Rick and Michonne don't hook up.
As it would be way to predictable.
Now Daryl on the other hand, and his relationships with … moreCarroll and Beth were intriguing, cause you never were quite able to figure out what was going on.
Were they just friendships, or were they becoming something more?
Honestly, I don't really care whether they were one way or another.
But they did add to the intrigue of Daryl as a character.
I don't hate Daryl. I like Daryl. I just get so tired of people going "if Daryl dies, we riot!" And acting like he's the only reason to watch the show, that sometimes I wish they would kill him off. I don't know if you've experienced that particular annoyance, but it can make you change how you feel sometimes.
I'll never understand this. Why does someone's fans make people hate the character themselves? Don't let how someone else view the character affect how YOU view them
Well, Beth is too young and the Thing with Carol was going nowhere. Rick, Michonne, and Carl have already formed a little family. Even Daryl is part of that. If it seems predictable, I think it's because theve been slowly leading up to it.

He's amazing and adorable (and hot).
"Hello, 911. What's your emergency?"
"I HAVE JUST READ THE WORST THING ON THE INTERNET AND I'M GOING INTO CARDIAC ARREST, SEND HELP"
Yeah, there are plenty of quiet moments in the comic, that's true. They don't call it a soap opera for guys for nothing lol. That's the nature of the written media as opposed to watching a tv show, where if they spend too much time having the characters talk to each other, people start complaining. You can add more to a book because you have the benefit of reading their thoughts or creating backstory and settings. It's kind of unfair to blame a TV show, a visual medium, for not having as much character development as a long running book series.
I'll just say that the comics are so much better. Mostly because Kirkman knows how to have a quiet moment to learn about the characters. Tha… moret, and Carl's not annoying. He's actually kinda brave.
So, if you want a good story with characters you actually care about, read the comics. They're all over Youtube.
Him losing his hand does lead for some interesting things in the comics though. But it's probably not going to happen, seeing as Kirkman has… more said that cutting off Rick's hand, while good for shock, has probably been his biggest mistake with the comics.

Carl was an innocent kid and Carol was a mousy, abused wife?
Yes because these people would not survive. No one would care about Car… moreol or her problems, everyone would be out for their own. Its such a bullshit story, you expect me to believe this battered woman becomes this ultimate survivor bad ass. I don't believe it, people don't change who they are.
Clementine
Is not a real person. You can't compare Clementine to how people would really act in a Apocalypse situation.
So, p… morear for the course for a Nate fan, I suppose.
Yeah, so what are you trying to say there, don't just say a little, If you got something to say to me than say it.
I hear that!
Andrew Lincoln has a good beard.
And it looks good on him.
Scot Wilson, aka Herschel, also has a good beard.
In fact, I t… morehink that looks suits him better than a clean shave.
And with that ponytail of his, he looked like he was ready to rock on stage.
I wonder if Andrew Lincoln will let his beard and hair get as long as Scot Wilson let his get?
I think long hair would be a good look, not only for Andrew, but also for his character Rick Crimes.
Along with the beard, it would give Rick Crimes the look of an ancient Celtic warrior.
I feel the same about Daryl, i like his character but some of his fans seem a bit too obsessed. There is part of me who wants to see him die just to see the reaction from the Daryl fans :P

You sound like Shane
ok? I guess i can take that as a compliment because he was the only one on the show actually who was interestin… moreg on the show.
And people do change
No they don't. Maybe in make believe.
Cheaters will cheat
Thieves will always steal
Liars will Lie
People don't change only in fiction right. What do you think would happen if we didn't have cops protecting society. It would tear itself apart.
No I dont believe for a second that everyone would be out for their own
Well when your life is at risk, you worry about your self first, if you can help someone great, but don't expect help because you won't get it.
But it's still not like a TV show where it has to be constantly moving. You can read a comic at whatever pace you want, skip the boring parts if you want. It's still a written work even with the art. You can sit down and read twenty panels of dialogue to learn more about the characters backstory. You can't spend an hour of the characters on the show just swapping stories because then fans start complaining that the show is too slow.
It is kinda fair. Because I do think that a comic could count as a visual medium.
That, and the character development isn't through reading a backstory, but from the characters sitting down, and talking about themselves.
Beth is what 18-21 yrs old?
And Daryl is what 35-40 yrs old?
Beth ain't to young for Daryl.
Plus, younger women date older men all the time.
And traditionally in a relationship, the man is older then the woman.
Well, Beth is too young and the Thing with Carol was going nowhere. Rick, Michonne, and Carl have already formed a little family. Even Daryl is part of that. If it seems predictable, I think it's because theve been slowly leading up to it.

I am aware of that.
However because she is of legal age, there is nothing illegal about it.
And as far as Daryl being over 40, I honestly thought he was somewhere in his mid to late 30's.
I'm am well aware that Norman Reedus himself is over 40 years of age, but I thought he was playing a character who was suppose to be a few years younger than that.
Personally, if a girl 18, wanted to date a man who is 10 or 20 years her senior, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it, as long as he treats her with kindness and respect.
Actually, that rule about his treating her with kindness and respect, would apply to him no matter what his age.
And she should also treat him the same way.
When I was 22, I dated an a woman who was 30 years my senior.
She was gorgeous, busty blonde.
She was still doing modeling gigs in a bikini!
I know there were those, especially my family, who did not approve of our relationship.
But since we were both two consenting adults, it was no one else's business, as to what went on between us.
The same would be true of Daryl and Beth.
Since they're two adults, it would technically be no else's business.
Plus Daryl as got good survival experience, as well as life experience.
If anyone could provide for Beth, as well as teach her how to be an expert at surviving, it's Daryl.
What I've noticed, is how Rick's attitude has changed towards violence and killing.
At first, Rick couldn't bring himself to kill anyone.
Causing him and Shane to be at odds.
Seeing Hershel brutally murdered had a profound affect on him, as Hershel was like a father to him.
When Joe and his group were gonna kill Daryl, and rape Carl and Michonne, that's when things really got rough.
Seeing Carl in that position, caused Rick to explode!
The way he killed Joe, and then that guy who was attempting to rape Carl, was vicious.
I'd say as a fighter, Rick is even more violent and brutal than Shane.
But his attitude towards killing an innocent person has not changed.
So in many ways, I'd say the core of his being has remained the same.
Comments
He didn't say losing his hand. He said losing his hand SO EARLY was a bad idea.
He might have Rick lose his hand a little later.
Scott Wilson. I meant he's dead so...you know
Seems odd that they would picture Rick with long hair, and make it progressively shorter as the series goes on.

Well, because Rick is the main character, he will be alive by the end of the season.
This isn't even close to the worst thing in the Internet.

One of my problems with the comic. Too much stuff done for shock value.
It is kinda fair. Because I do think that a comic could count as a visual medium.

God forbid I have a different opinion on a character.
GOD.
FORBID.
On the show he's 14.
I'm 14.
Swerve.
I love Carl, there's nothing you can do to change my opinion.
People change.
They just always carry an aspect of their past self.
Carol.
Is not a real person either. She's a character.
Lol,just noticed "Rick Crimes"
I feel the same about Daryl, i like his character but some of his fans seem a bit too obsessed. There is part of me who wants to see him die just to see the reaction from the Daryl fans :P
NOOOOOOOOO!
COOAAAAARL!
COOAAAAAL!
CAAAAAAROL!
COOOOOOORL!
DON'T DIE CORL.
COOAAAARL!
What exactly do you like in Shane, if you don't mind my question. Just curious.

I don't care if you're 14. DON'T TALK ABOUT A KID BEING HOT PLS. STAHP.
I hate Rick.
Just some stuff and thangs.
Losing his head... Again...
The show does it way more than the comics
How about no? She has an opinion on a char. You have an opinion on a char. So get over it.
He'll kill a lot of people and i'm sure he's gonna get some close calls, but he's pretty much invincible.
Unless they pull an Andrea.
Thank you.![<3 <3](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/heart.png)
Okay, let me elaborate.
Chandler Riggs* is hot. He's 15.
But dAMN is he hOT
?PAPA?
Hey, no problem.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Yeah I know.
I think it's a shame that they killed him off.
Him, Daryl, and Rick are my favorite characters.
Beth is what 18-21 yrs old?
And Daryl is what 35-40 yrs old?
Beth ain't to young for Daryl.
Plus, younger women date older men all the time.

Lol, no.
Beth just turned 18 and Daryl is over 40. In real life, people do kind of look down on middle aged men who date barely legal girls.
I don't know..but I feel the Ricktatorship is going to make a comeback. I'm very excited, might have to change my profile pic for this!
So I guess we are talking about the TV show? I only read the comics, don't know how the far the tv series is though.
I am aware of that.
