The Walking Dead Games are feel trips. There isn't any torture, although there is a few limb amputations.
Carver beating Kenny. Also, Carver torturing Alvin.
But you see the result.
You never see Carver torture him though. But yeah Kenny getting beat
But you see the result.
The game has a different mood, That torture scene is so violant its almost funny, TWDG is more of a complex game that aims for your emotions.
This too.
I hope the game doesn't get that dark, its hard for me to see already.
In all seriousness I really hope not.
Edit: Forgot the rest of my comment... Derp.
The story can be dark without exaggerated brutality.
This.
GLENN WILL DIE
That Michonne/Governor bit is easily the most violent event in the entire comic series. It doesn't ever get nastier than that. I hope the game doesn't get that violent - I don't find that violence equals effect, especially if overused. For me, the tone of the game is perfect.

Insert awesome complex smiley face here
Well, Telltale games killed off a dog in the most dark and saddest way ever.

The game is pretty dark, it's just presented in a much different way. In all honesty, I've never quite experience the level of emotional manipulation this game has caused, and I mean that in a good way. It means Telltale did exactly what they set out to accomplish.
That and seeing Kenny beat Carvers face literally off of his head, was one of the most brutal things I've seen in a game.
Personally i thought that was worse than Carvers face getting smashed in
heh...
physical torture ruins for me totally the mood. i hope telltale continues to focus on emotional haunting decisions.
It already IS. But I would like it to take a turn to the darker. It really makes the whole atmosphere incredible.
once AJ gets eaten by a walker it will be, babies dying is probably the darkest thing in the comics
Yes I like how Robert Kirkman has the stomach to do stuff like that unlike the writers of the TV series and game
The comics are in black and white and black is a pretty dark color.
Hard to be darker than black.
Heh
