400 was pretty pointless
had no bearing whatsoever on season 2 for the exception of meeting bonnie and even then her personality established on 400 had no bearing for instance she said she would never lie.

A lot of people say it should have just focused on Bonnie, which is true I guess.
Yep, choices did nothing.
Bonnie could've easily been introduced in Ep 2.
400 Days didn't do anything but bide time for season 2
Yep, when I inevitably do another play through of S1 and then S2 I wont bother with 400 days. At least then I wouldn't be forced to sit through 5 or 6 jarring, forced cameos
This is great.
Hope we'll get a DLC about 400 days characters.
Not to mention that Telltale SAID during Playing Dead before the release of 400 Days that choices in this DLC may or may not have influence in season 2. They never said that 400 Days will definitely have impact in season 2. Only that it's possible but not sure.
Well yeah, it didn't have much bearing on Season 2, but it was still cool and I'm glad that it was created. I enjoyed playing 400 Days for what it was.
the thing is 400 days stories were very short but each of them was more interesting than overall plot of season 2.
It had next to no bearing on season 2. So yes, pointless I guess if your only criteria is being crucial to season 2. The kid in the attic in season 1 also had no bearing on season 2 but I thought that was a pretty awesome moment. And I enjoyed 400 Days and felt that a lot of it was very different while telling interesting short stories.
I thought it was great taken as its own thing and so, for me, far from pointless. Admittedly I had a big "is that it?" reaction when I realised how limited the roles were in season 2 but that was less about 400 Days and more about season 2 itself.
