The game definitely wants to make us feel as if Randy is dangerous. Happy music plays all the way up until we see Randy has a gun, then it b… moreecomes distorted, dark, and twisted. The expression on Clem's face shows that she's very worried. Earlier, Randy brushes off Patricia in a not so nice way. The game makes it clear that something is wrong with this family.
Also, consider this, the Kenny endings, both of them, leave us with incredibly emotional scenes, fantastic dialogue, and acting during those scenes, it feels like an ending. The final shot for both Kenny endings works well. The Jane endings have none of that, expect for when you turn the family way. It just isn't done as well as the Kenny endings. They don't feel conclusive, and they leave us in a very strange place. The Jane endings weren't done as well.... They just weren't.
how could you possibly think that jane fans would be on board with one of the kenny endings where clem allows kenny to stab jane in the heart and stays with him? i mean did you even think your post out before you posted or is this just a less then obvious troll?
I feel bad for the people that did not get to experience the Kenny ending the first time round because it is a better ending. Not necessarily better in that it is better for Clem (even though I personally believe that) but rather that it seems to be the ending Telltale cared more about, it was more emotional, better written and acted, and just seemed like a proper ending for the season. It's as if Telltale intended for this ending to be more important and canon and just slap on a Jane ending for the people who chose her. The Jane ending, and the decision in the Jan ending, just seem kind of meh in comparison to the emotional ending that is Kenny's.
The thing is that first timers killed Kenny out of the heat of the moment. Had they have known all different endings, the Kenny ending would've gotten more percentages. The Jane endings kept slamming up though for mostly that reason. Hell I watched Kenny die first time around.
Harpadarpa was a member here, wasn't he? He's the biggest Kenny hater I've ever known, and even he wil lsay that the Kenny endings are way b… moreetter than the Jane endings. And yes, there are some things that the Kenny nedings have that the Jane endings just don't.
I can't think of a single memorable line from the Jane ending aside from Clem saying something along the lines of "We can make something out of this". You see, this is the point they should have been trying to drive home. That's the only attempt they made at doing it. After that, we get a twisted musical que when we see Randy's gun, leaving us with a bad feeling, an awkward exchange between Clem and gill and........... That's it. No big point to try and drive home, the whole thing feels inconclusive and without any kind of finality.
I mean, even the ending where you turn them away gets more right. In fact, for what it is, that's still a good ending. It did what it was supposed to… [view original content]

For me, Clementine's speech when turning the family away is better than all Kenny's endings combined.
