What do the subtitle colors mean? Come help me out!

So, this is what I got.

White subtitles= Protagonist. Only been used by Clem and Lee

Pink subtitles= Only been used by Clem in season 1

Red subtitles = Usually someone negative. Has been used by Russel, Larry, and Randy.

Mind helping me expand?

I'm not sure if they have any meaning.

Also, I'm pretty sure Irene had pink subtitles in season 1.

  • Lilly used a dark green colour, while Kenny/Pete used a lighter green.

  • Its purely so its easier to see whos talking, as people often talk while the cameras not on them

  • Subtitles are used for the color of people's clothes.

Sometimes other unimportant characters who are going to die quickly/not be seen again use white.

Harmless/soft characters use a light pink. Clementine in Season 1, Sarah in Season 2.

    Red usually means hostility.

And others are just because their clothes are too dark and people can't see dark subtitles. That's why they use vibrant/other colors, e.g Lilly.
