IT DOESN'T MATTER! THEY WILL DIE ANYWAYS!!!

I fear that first thing in the upcoming episodes is that...whether you saved Kenny or Jane...THEY WILL BOTH END UP DEAD!!!

Think about the pattern...Whether you saved Carley or Doug in Episode 1 of Season 1, they just die in Episode 3. Think about Ben. If you saved him in Episode 4, he just dies in Episode 5!!! If you saved Nick in Episode 2 of Season 2, he just dies so simply in Episode 4!!!!! If you saved Alvin in Episode 2, he just dies a heroic death in Episode 3!!!

Fuck...the same thing that happened with Omid. He died at the very beginning of Season 2. Kenny or Jane will die!!! FANS BE AWARE!!!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!

Well... In the end, the death always wins.

  • Welcome to the world of the Walking Dead. The name has nothing to do with the zombies...but the people trying to survive. THEY are the Walking Dead because no matter what, you are going to die. Teeth or bullets...

That's the deepest realization I have ever read in this forum. Ever.

Agree. Even Rick in the comics said that walkers aren't the only walking dead. We (people) are the walking dead. But it doesn't refer only to the fact that anyone could die in any moments. It also refer to the fact that humanity in people is dying and sooner or later they'll be just like the walkers. Empty shells who wants only to survive no matter the cost. Even if it'd be too high.

  • and THAT is why i don't want telltale to continue clem's story(actually that is not the reason, the reason is that i don't want 5 endings to lead to the same situation), leaving her story hanging is the only way to keep Jane/Kenny alive/

  • ^I really hope that Kenny/Jane get treated more like Urdnot Wrex.

  • Welcome to life*

  • Well to be fair, this is a zombie apocalypse, just because you save them once doesn't make them invincible.

What does matter is whether they have a meaningful death AND the extra time alive includes more character development.

  • It's going to really shatter your world when you realise that the same is true for real life too.

  • death is just an obstacle we as a race have yet to overcome. then again death is just a byproduct of disease, accidents, and people.

  • Death is fucking great. Think about how shit the world would be if nothing died.

  • lol I hope someone reminds you of that when you're lying in a hospital bed. Na I don't hope that! But something to think about. Most people don't care about death because they are young, and healthy. If someone you loved was near dying you would probably think it sucks.

  • Yeah, probably would indulge in a bit of cognitive dissonance. Seriously though, if no one ever died, not of old age or owt, that'd be horrible. The world would overpopulate, resources are limited enough. Be grateful for death man, it's necessary. Life would 'cease to function' without it.

  • True. I also think you can't actual LIVE during a ZA. You survive day by day. But your soul dies and like you said, you are then an empty shell just going day by day. If something like this happened for real, I think I wouldn't want to be around for the aftermath.

I know what you mean. It's inevitable. I mean, you can try to be good, don't hurt other people, don't kill them only walkers - try to save your humanity but the cruel truth is that everyone during Zombie Apocalypse who tried to be ONLY good is probably dead by now. That's the truth. If you want to stay alive sometimes you have to do things you might not like but you have to. For example Clementine - my Clementine isn't comfortable with killing anybody but she understands that sometimes it needs to be done (she indirectly caused the death of Winston and I said as Clem that we need to kill Carver but despite that I didn't watch Kenny killing him.)

In any case it's good theme for discussion :) Because you can do necessary things just to survive and at the same time be actualy good for some people - your family, friends, people from your group.

I agree with you. I don't read the comic but I do watch the TV show. Rick at first tried to do things by being the good guy. The only time he would kill is if you gave him no choice. But now with everything that has happened, I don't think Rick would hesitate to pull the trigger on someone if he even half way thought they could be a threat. He still has a few shards of the nice guy in him, but they are only for the people he knows in his group.

With Rick it's kind of complicated. I think that he is still sort of good guy but now he isn't as idealistic as he was at the beginning. He understands how the world works after ZA and I think that he will kill everyone who will be a threat to his family or even the group because he wants to protect them.

I'll give the example of MY Lee - I shot the women in Macon because I didn't want her to suffer anymore BUT I also killed the stranger - not because I wanted to be merciful but because I wanted him to be dead. He kidnapped Clementine and I thought that there is no other way to stop him so basicly I did a necessary thing. Still it wasn't good at some point. I mean, my Lee said that killing is wrong no matter what and I agree with him but he also said "I'm doing this because it's necessary[...]" and I agree with this too.
