Wellington is the best ending for Clem
Its the safest spot a real city where she can just be a kid. all other endings had clem still struggling to survive. So if you want to think about it on a videogame field of thought the wellington ending is the real ending cause all other endings end in misery for clem and are basically gameover.

I disagree. I think the best ending for my Clem is refusing to stay in Wellington and leaving with Kenny. Sure she won't be "safe" but she will be with someone she deeply cares about. It's all a matter of preference.
Eh you don't know that, Wellington can be filled with all sorts of bad things and with that amount of people, things can fall pretty quickly.
The best ending for Clem is the one you feel most satisfied with.
There's no best ending it's just personal preference. Some people might think its best for Clem to stay at Wellington while others might think its best for her to be alone.
alone outside still struggling to survive with zombies all around her? ya no.
Locked inside a place with tons of people you don't know doesn't sound very pleasant either.
its called the real world, get use to it.
The real world? Yeah okay.
Again it personal preference. Some people might think it's best for her to be alone because if she's alone she can't be betrayed and things like that. Anyway, the Wellington endings my favourite.
This.
Please don't start this. There's nothing good at the end of this road.
But we're not talking about the real world, we're talking about the walking dead world. A world where anything dressed up in non - rotting human skin can be nice on the outside and then next thing you know that nice outside is covering itself with your own skin. My point and possibly Green 's point is that we don't know what type of people are inside that settlement, sure some of them may be nice to Clem or others in public or when they're getting what they want, but who knows how easily the majority of the people would try to adopt a "Crawford" mentality the second the populace size becomes a strain on resources?
Terminus was thought to be safe. Look how that turned out
The Motor Inn. Crawford. The Cabin. The Ski Lodge. Howe's.
None of those very safe in the end. My Clementine doesn't think "cities" can stay safe forever and Lee told her to always keep moving. She might as well do that with Kenny; her family.
Lot's of saucy arguments tho!
Dude you're aware that Clem was shot by a fucking rifle and needed treatment right?
Yes, Wellington is the safest place for Clementine (assuming its not full of crazy people), but the choice to go look for Wellington is the worst decision.
Terminus didnt turn away new incomers and then give them a supply pack either.
Comparing these 2 places is ridicilous.
Logically speaking , wellington will probably be full of crazy people.
Why? Because there are survivors who have gone through all kinds of shit?
Think about it. How can they be so well stocked and supplied and have good willed people at the same time?
They will likely be crazy but you can't be sure. Carvers camp looked like a decent place to live if you didn't know him , but when you step in it's a world of hell.
Better safe than sorry.
But really was it? One could argue, that the group brought Carver's wrath on themselves with their disobedience at every step. If they would of just did as they were told who knows what situation they would be in. Maybe they would all be alive, we can't say for sure.
I guess , but if that were the case why couldn't carver just let them leave?
Well they could possibly do the same thing as Governor, killing military personnel and loot stuff from them. But since we only see the gates and one member, im not going start speculating.
You're probably right. We don't know enough about them yet.
You know why, he wanted his child. I don't think Carver considered himself a bad guy, Carver thought he was helping people in his mind. When people turned on him he called them all inconsiderate, which was kind of true. After Carver died everyone started dying off like flies. He was a good leader in some ways. They had food, some protection, guns, if they would have worked they could of joined the Carver's group.
Nick could still be alive, Sarah, everybody.
But kenny and sarita had nothing to do with his child , why couldn't he leave them be?
Wrong place Wrong Time. Besides Carver was probably thinking, that he needs help to get the Howe's expansion finished he will need labor. However he also wants to give back to humanity and start rebuilding society. He feels its his job to make sure that people are tough discipline group who are focused on survival.
I don't really see him as a bad guy, because he reminds me of my dad.
You never know who is a bad guy in the apocalypse hell they could have been planning to jump them when they left for all we know
FORCED LABOR. That's not being a nice guy OR a good leader.
Still , you have no right to force someone to do that , that just makes you an asshole.
He has no right to use them. A good leader isn't supposed to force people to be a part of their community.
Never said he was a good leader. I said here are your choices, you could either die outside to a horde of zombies, or you could help nail up some boards trying to fortify your new home. Life isn't easy, and sometimes you have to make a choice. Is it worth the risk of your life, your families lives, to escape imprisonment to live as a free man/woman however starving and in constant danger.
The group chose freedom, and look at how many people died because of it.
No , he didn't give them a choice. Did you not read my point?
And that's what the group chose. Carver had no right to force them to stay.
I go with dont trust ANYONE....I dont even trust AJ
Thats how many goverments work nowadays. Ever heard of conscription?
Goverments forces people to pay taxes and says its their obligation to follow their rules.
Carvers way to build the society has similar features as modern goverments. Personally, im against how goverments force people to be part of them, just because they were born in that area, but thats just me. What are your thoughts on this subject?
You can still move.
That's nothing compared to a threat that you could be killed for no reason by them.
I guess my point is this.
people would of died less if the group would of just shut up and did what carver said to do.
