Something We All Can Agree On
So, there is obviously a lot of Kenny/Jane dispute, but I think we can all agree that Luke was a great guy. I loved the guy, and he never did anything bad (except for banging Jane, but every character has at least one error). I wish he would've survived, or at least I wish he would have died saving somebody instead of dying purely for shock value. He is one of my favorite characters out of anybody we've seen before, and I hope we get more well developed characters like Luke in the future.

I love both Jane and Kenny.
But Luke was my favourite. I'd have picked to go with him over anyone else in the group.
Same here. He was such a great character. I just wish that at least he would have died saving Clem or something like that.
Team Luke
Gotta agree, man.
Luke was one of my favorite characters.
Luke was one of my favorite characters of the season along with Clem, Kenny and Carver. It's a shame that he died. Also, I wouldn't consider it "bad" that he fucked Jane, the dude was just horny, give him a break.
Actually, he died saving Clem one last time. If you tried to save him, Clem falls in the ice and is grabbed by a walker. Luke who is hovering near the surface will see then go back down and grab it, freeing Clem. It will then somehow manage to grab his leg as he is dragged down. Luke went out like a hero. His last words were "Don't you come over here Clem. Please. Just go back."
Remember when people condemed Luke for busting a nut and then had huge boners for Mike and Bonnie, being like "I ONLY trust Clem with Bonnie and Mike" lol funny how that turned out
I don't necessarily consider it bad, but I figured that if I didn't include that, some butthurt person would come up saying "HE WAS SO HORRIBLE FOR FUCKING JANE AND ENDANGERING EVERYONE" and I didn't really wanna start any drama haha
I agree, i was very shocked when he died, it also took a day to come to grips with it since it was so sudden, what i mean is that it took me a long time to accept the fact that he was dead since it was so fast.
I tried to get Clementine's character to be nice to Luke.
It would be very odd if he appeared in season 3 the same way Kenny did though,
Like he faked his death if you covered for him from the walker
Or
If he got out of the Walkers grip if you tried to save him.
Although telltale said that there are some times when people just die suddenly (referencing to Luke).
Anyway i hope TT makes someone like that in the future season 3
Luke is my one of my favourite characters.
this debate is ridicules, these characters are well written for the most part . you don't have to agree with the characters morals, or ideas. Walking dead series is about choices, morals, fighting, and about being push to the edge, and when they get to that point how people snap. From now on with multi answer ending of series 2 everyone playthroughs of the series is not going to be same. and the players choices make walkthough enjoyable. Why can't people agree on that. no ending is cannon. People would happier if they stopped picking each others choices about and liking a certain character will get a bad remark from someone else.
But back to the Team Luke thing. It was really a brother-sister bond between Luke and Clementine, the backwards and forwards between them, the mocking of each other in a friendly way. It harkens back to Lee and Clementine relationship the father and daughter bond. If Clementine remands the playable character in the 3 series then I want to see more bonds like Luke and the Lee relationships with Clementine. Clementine lost her parents at really young agree, these people she meet will leave a impact on her. And it makes sense that certain things she see will mould her in a certain way.
Well...if you help him instead of covering him his final act is getting a walker off Clem.
Luke is my favorite Season 2 non-Clem character along with Kenny. His death sucked so much, but it was needed to push the plot forward (and the group apart). Hopefully he'll get lucky, real lucky and come back in Season 3

Luke was ok, I actually liked him more when he had sex with Jane. It made his character more fallible.
There is a way he can come back you know. If telltale really wanted to.
Help Luke
If you help Luke, then you will last see him being dragged into the lake, we never see him die in this ending, but he can still break free and come up through the lake after the group came into the house.
Cover Luke
In this choice, if you break the ice, then you will see him, shocked, with his mouth open. The thing is that, it is likely that he died but there is a chance that he didn't. He could have either
1- Passed out
or
2- Faked his death
Don't break the ice
You never see Luke die in this one, however he could have crawled through the opening in which he fell in.
The place which he fell in, he can crawl back out even with his shot-leg in all endings.
Mike, Arvo and Bonnie (determinate), can both come back to find Luke alive out of the lake, or they could morn his death and see him floating and somewhat try to resuscitate him.
The interesting thing about Luke's "death" is that it occurred at the same episode (S2E5) as Kenny's "death" in (S1E5), it also occurred at the same chapter and in similar ways.
The character can either try to help the character or do as he says.
Kenny told Lee to go, you can either stay to help Kenny or do as he says.
Luke told Clementine to cover him, and you can either help Luke or do as he says.
His "death" also occurred because of walkers which caused Arvo to run, which caused Kenny and Mike to run, and which probably caused Luke to panic a little bit, making him put a bit more pressure on one leg than he should have.
The thing about Luke's death is that there is a chance that he can get "lucky" like Kenny and survive.
Luke was awesome. A really loveable character. What got me about his death was how little they milked it. It seemed to be over really fast and everybody moved on. Given how positive a force he was in the group and well liked and especially considering we players loved him, I think his death deserved more impact, more reflection and time for us to take it in. I would loved for him to have stayed alive but it would stretch things way too far to pull the "lucky" card. He's gone. I just wish they had made his death more meaningful.
