Who else is excited for the Walking Dead season 1 and 2 coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox one?
I am because then I can record it and upload to Youtube. Whats your reasons?
Season 1 comes out October 14th and Season 2 comes out October 21st.

maybe if its optimised for ps4/one specs, because its also available on i-phone... it shouldn't look the same
You underestimate the next generation of consoles. Plus lag and freeze screens don't always ruin the story experience.
Im pretty sure it will be, but to be honest it might be a way for S3 to come out for PS4 and Xbone.
Either way im still buying them.
Why would anyone be excited for lag and freeze screens? Telltale games always sucked on consoles and i am sure that his ports will not make an exception. If you want to play the game fluently, play it on a PC/Mac.
with 8gb memory it should run very smoothly with no hickups

i hope so, because if they bring the same shit to every console with minimal changes it will be hard to sell on next gen.
Maybe they should bring out a "next-gen" exclusive seas2 of TWAU with a lot going on on screen and if it sells then they could bring seas4 of TWD also exclusive to ps4/One/PC
Yeah I feel like TT is moving to next-gen, TWD S1 & S2 on next gen this October. TWAU is coming in November, and I bet that TFTBL is next gen upon release , the same with GOT.

I would be excited... if I had an XB1 (sits down in a corner hugging my 360 and crying).
Both seasons are coming to next gen, you will need to play again for new save files.

I doubt it would be next gen only unless they are planning on starting with a fresh story because how else would you be able to transfer your save files?!
@GoldenPaladin - for some reason I saw your reply in my notification center but on this. Anyway, I would just say that would be a very stupid thing for Telltale to do (to make console players have to replay s1 and s2 on new gen just for s3), because many players (like me for instance) have no intention of getting next gen consoles.
I honestly hope that for Season 1, that Telltale fix alot of the lagging and glitches, those can really hamper the experience.

Anything that will run on a $300 laptop from 2010 I'm good. (I'm shocked The Walking Dead would run, actually... besides some shadow issues it was a-ok.
I think they should start making it on new gen only, but not as of right now. Game of Thrones should be the first game (which would be a smart move since its already confirmed to be a multi-season project). But for Walking Dead s3 or a hopeful Wolf Among Us s2? Stick to old gen please Telltale.
As for me upgrading, I see no point. I really don't think Xbox One has features that the 360 doesn't that requires me spending $400 on. I have a good PC so when the time comes for Telltale to stop making current gen games, I'll just play them on PC
Season Two actually ran quite nice on consoles, barely any lag.
