Season 1 Episode 2 issue - death loop

When the band director dies and Lee is talking to Katja, the director reanimates and attacks her. Lee saves and is then attacked by the walker. Lee dies every time. No one comes to help and I can't fight off the walker. What am I missing? Thanks for the help.

    You have to move side to side and bash the walker's head against the truck, then crawl backwards away from the walker.

    Thanks for the response. I tried hitting 'A' and 'D' to move left and right but it didn't work. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

    You have to move the mouse to the left and right instead of A and D.

    Well, I play on console, but I'm guessing maybe it wants you to move your mouse left and right in that sequence.
