That Pete is the only one everyone likes aside from Lee and Clem?
Out of all the threads thats been created recently, "Pete's Wise men" is the winner (obviously).
Good ol' Pete is the best life coach and a beautiful soul that we all can look up to!
Anyone here who doesn't like Pete?

Amen to this. Pete was the nicest person we met in Season 2 and continues to be my favorite member of the cabin group, despite his short screentime. There's not a thing to hate about him.

Some people might not like him because of his stance on hunting/how he treated Nick, but I thought he was awesome. Picked him over Nick in a heartbeat.

Pete was so fucking cool. In my first save file, I went to Nick at the end of ep.1 and though I enjoyed that opening scene with him in ep.2, that was nothing compared to how nice Pete's opening scene was in ep.2 (in my other save file). More people should go with him at the end of ep.1 just for that one last awesome scene with him.
pete was great. if TT didnt show us petes bite right away i would have ran to him in a heartbeat but once he was bitten i knew saving him would be a moot point. plus i like the interaction between clem and jane in e5 when clem takes a sip of rum and compares it to the moonshine she had with nick.

she will sip the rum and cough then jane says "that bad huh?" then clem replies "Its not as bad as the moonshine stuff i had with nick. That stuff was like fire." to which jane replies "wow."
I did like Pete, generally speaking. Nevertheless, I thought he was sometimes a tad too harsh on Nick, and growing up being treated like that probably made Nick an even bigger mess.
There are valid reasons behind disliking any character in this game, even Lee and Clementine. You can criticize many characters who are widely loved among the fans for some thing or another. Here are a few examples (I do not necessarily agree with them but they're still somewhat valid): Katjaa's suicide instead of 'pulling herself together and remaining strong for her husband'; Omid being 'overly playful' and not very useful, even though he was injured in episode 4; Sarita treating Clem and Sarah like children and being kind of a hypocrite - she scolds the cabin group for blaming Kenny for Carver's actions and then blames them for getting them imprisoned in Howe's, when in fact, that was also Carver - .
Again, these are not necessarily based on what I think, but I can see where they come from and some people really think that way, and they're not wrong, it's a matter of opinion.
The way I see it, the one person we have almost no reason to not be fond of is Shel. Or at least, that is up to the player's decisions.
I think some other generally-well-liked S2 characters are Alvin, Nick, and Omid
I never really gave a damn about him because I didn't know him for very long. He seemed like a nice fella, but that's just about all I can really say about him.
But everyone liked Pete.

I really loved him. This guy was strong, wise and I see him being someone that I would rely on during the ZA.
