If I had my way I would have stopped Kenny from impounding Carver's skull, which is the only reason why I stayed because I thought I thought I could stop him from killing.
well i can agree on the stranger since your group stole his life, and michelle was just a girl trying to survive like clem, and clem becomes more like her later on, but carver?! who doesn't hate carver?!
sarah reminded me of clem, clem from season 1 episode 1-early episode 3 that is. thats why i defended her and took care of her. i always said what she wanted to hear, and reassured her when things were bad, i figure thats what lee would have wanted, am i the only human being alive who thinks that?

If I had my way I would have stopped Kenny from impounding Carver's skull, which is the only reason why I stayed because I thought I thought I could stop him from killing.
The characters I hated the most in S1 were Larry and Vernon.
I hated Larry because no many how many times Lee did good in the group, he would constantly hate on him and use the fact that he's a murderer against him.
I hated Vernon because he wanted to take Clementine away (Because Clem's chances of survival are higher with elderly cancer patients, amirite?), and he stole the group's boat.
(Don't trust old men, they'll screw you over! lol)
The characters I hated in S2 were Carver, Kenny, and Jane. Carver was basically a video game version of Negan (If you're familiar with the comic series), who wouldn't hurt you as long as you did what he wanted. Kenny was more of an on-the-fence character to me. I liked him a lot in S1, but I started disliking him more in S2. He goes berserk whenever he lost someone he cared about and wished death on whoever was responsible, and he pretty much dissed you if you didn't agree with his plans/actions. Jane was a character I actually liked. She was resourceful, taught Clem new tricks, helped the group (against her own judgement, lol) and had Clem's back when she was in a pinch. Theeeeen when I found out AJ was alive, I had so much hate for her. She could have avoided the fight with Kenny if she had just brought AJ to the terminus with her.
ok. whatever, i respect thats what you think, we dont have to fight or argue or whatever this is, this conversations over, plus i already agreed i dont hate carver, i think he is a jerk
llol jk, i just hate jane, and your profile pic is jane, no offense i just wanted to be included ;_; XD
I got pretty good from rest of your comments that you are immature.
ps.
who doesn't hate carver?!
I dont.
Sounds like you loathe her. Well this forum about characters you hate the most. Your hate towards Jane is your opinion and I respect that. My brother hates Luke.
I hated Kenny. Selfish asshole in Season 1 who was willing to let an 8 year old die because I never took his side 100% when in reality I hel… moreped him at least 82% of the time. This sums him up perfectly.
Lee: Molly saved your life twice
Kenny: Yeah, but what's she done for me lately?
I loved telling him to go fuck himself. The greatest moment in the entire series.
Kenny: You haven't had my back all the time Lee and I wonder if you would do the same for me if it was Duck.
Lee: "You know what, Kenny? Go fuck yourself. You want to let a little girl die just because I didn't have your back every damn minute? Fuck you, man. Do whatever the fuck you want."
I hated Kenny. Selfish asshole in Season 1 who was willing to let an 8 year old die because I never took his side 100% when in reality I hel… moreped him at least 82% of the time. This sums him up perfectly.

Kenny: Yeah, but what's she done for me lately?

Lee: "You know what, Kenny? Go fuck yourself. You want to let a little girl die just because I didn't have your back every damn minute? Fuck you, man. Do whatever the fuck you want."
He actually says, he didn't mean to shoot Matthew and the gunshot was more out of panic than trying to kill someone and I saw where he was coming from and I started to like him alot more when he apologized, and opened himself up a little bit in Episode 2. Maybe I'm a softie, but I didn't kill Ben on my first play through in Season 1 probably because I identified with him more and knew where he was coming from, I'm liable to forgive someone who was more scared and didn't know what to do and made mistakes.
I didn't care for Nick either. He gets really uppity anytime anyone points out his mistakes. I told him he was out of line in Ep1 and he's j… moreust like "whatever." Someone who "just goes off" and "goes agro" probably shouldn't be handling a damn gun. Case in point, Matthew. I just stayed silent when Walter asks if Nick was a good guy or not and even though I told Nick to come clean a minute ago he tells Walter he didn't do anything. So I can't say I felt all that bad when Walter let him get eaten. Maybe if he were a little more willing to fess up to his mistakes in less than ideal situations he'd still be alive... Well actually he'd probably just die off-screen in episode four, but still.

yea but he was just doing his job. Immediately after he shot that walker he was complaining about having to save her. If it was up to him he wouldn't care about clementine being attacked.
Seriously? You think that? Watch that part again and then come back here. She looked pretty doomed and Kenny wasn't going to be able to get to her either.
i think lilly was a good person, concerned for the only people she has left in the world. plus if you save doug in the pc version and you help with her father and steal from the van then she admits she likes you. so she was even more concerned for clem and lee in that case, she was just scared.
In addition to the people i mentioned before, I also hate Reggie, someone I havent seen anyone here say yet.
I really hate petty lapdogs. He just takes it and serves his master. I hated Carver, so I hate Reggie just as much, maybe more so for being so weak.
Also, Im surprised people hated Mark and call him "whiny". Other than Lee, he was the only voice of reason other than Lee at the start of Ep.2. The only time he complains once is if you dont feed him, he will complain when youre helping put up the fence. When he gets shot in the shoulder with an arrow he only says "Ill be fine, I should just pull it out" which I hardly think qualifies as whining. Mark was like Lee's best buddy for the first half of Ep.2, even ahead of Doug with all the time they spent together.
Lastly, I dont think Troy is even worth hating, hes not only Carver's lapdog, but a completely thoughtless one. He was more of a mindless robot to me, I dont think he was even capable of independent thought. After we escaped, if he had lived, with Carver dead, I dont think he would come after us, I think he would be completely lost and just try to maintain the status quo.
clem was too badass, im saying if the writers didn't put her in this, "damsel in distress" situation EVERY FUCKING TIME than she could kick ass and chew gum. and she would be all out of gum
Seriously? You think that? Watch that part again and then come back here. She looked pretty doomed and Kenny wasn't going to be able to get to her either.
clem was too badass, im saying if the writers didn't put her in this, "damsel in distress" situation EVERY FUCKING TIME than she could kick ass and chew gum. and she would be all out of gum
Yeah I get it was an accident and I don't think Nick is evil or anything, but my point was someone with itchy trigger finger and tendency to "go off" probably shouldn't handle a gun because they're likely to get someone killed by accident, which is exactly what happened. Any every time someone tried to tell Nick that he blows them off. Like I said, he'll only come to terms about his mistakes at his convenience, anyone else confronts him he starts pitching a fit. If he ever just listen to anyone, things probably would've have been better for everybody.
I actually really like Ben, despite his many (many) fuck-ups. I think in like fifteen runs of the first season I may have dropped him like three times, max. I felt bad for him since it seemed like his biggest crime was just incompetence which was compounded by the fact he was effectively alone in Lee's group. He didn't really know anyone and he joined at a time when things were heading south. So he had no one to confide in, no one to encourage him, no one to talk to, no one to guide him, and when he makes a mistakes he's got a whole group of mostly strangers angry at him, which just makes him feel useless and miserable which usually led to another mistake until the poor kid was so riddled with guilt that he actually wanted to die.
With Nick he's part of his group and has two well meaning people he's suppose to be close with watching after him with his Uncle Pete and Luke. I know Pete dies early on, but Pete taking issue with Nick almost accidentally killing a little girl seems to bother Nick more than the fact that he almost killed somebody by accident. Same thing with Matthew, he bitches about Luke "ridding" him and when Luke asks why that might be he says it's cause Luke is an asshole. I get he's young and head strong but after everyone who genuinely cares about you keeps talking about how you're messing up, maybe should reevaluate yourself a little.
I don't know, I've tried a play through where I did nothing but be nice to Nick and at very best he's only marginally pitiable for me. He's not a "bad" person, but his own bruised ego always seems to trump his morality and only by coddling him for a while does he come around to doing the right thing eventually. Really annoyed me that I tell him to come clean but he only does so if I placate Walter for him first, which really only changes the tone of Walter's voice. Someone being angry at you for murdering the person closest to them is enough to dissuade your conscience?
Contrast that with Ben who you can't stop from confessing because he feels so bad about what he's done. Admittedly he picks the worse fucking time ever to do it but it think it speaks to just how different Ben and Nick really are. Ben always seemed trap between being afraid he'd mess up and hurt someone and feeling guilty that he's not contributing. Nick's motivation usually seems like stubborn pride. People say he's a fuck up so he gets pissed and tries to prove them wrong but ends up fucking in a way that probably could have been avoided if he had just listened. I get he seems to eventually come around but it always feels like too little too late for me.
He actually says, he didn't mean to shoot Matthew and the gunshot was more out of panic than trying to kill someone and I saw where he was … morecoming from and I started to like him alot more when he apologized, and opened himself up a little bit in Episode 2. Would've been nice if Nick actually grew as a character after episode 2, and maybe realize that he's not always in the right and needs to be a bit of a man, but everyone knows what happens next.

I actually like the idea of Nick just having Mike's role, or is it technically vice-versa? Either way, he could be making strides to improving in Amid the Ruins and then Luke dies in No Going Back and losing the closet thing he had left to family finally sends him over the edge and he just decides to abandon the group. Kinda like a more subtle version of what happens with Lilly maybe. You help someone in a bad place but in the end you can't save them from their selves and it breaks the hearts of the people who tried hardest.
Just another page to stick in the big "What could have been" book. =/

So what you're saying is, my point still stands.
And yet look how much of a hardcore badass Lee was. He's more badass than Kenny and Clem… more combined and he's gone.
It happens, it's more of the matter that she's a kid and that's a zombie. She weighs about only half of what they weigh also.
But he wouldn't have lost her if he and his group just walked away, not to mention he lied (since in my playthrough Clem didn't rob him and was nice to him). I mean they attempted to rob and kill Clem's group - what did he expect out of that outcome? Either his group, Clem's group, or a mix of both were walking out of that one alive...he took a stupid risk and it didn't pay off.
I'm not considering his behavior after the showdown, because naturally he would be upset and angry with the group, especially with Kenny constantly beating on him. I just can't feel too sorry for him because he and his own group caused their own demise/problems by acting like bandits.
no, he lost his sister and had nothing left, he wasn't a bad guy.... he just blamed clem for his sisters death, and he was sick of being treated like a slave
Comments
Yes, seems so.

okay yes, i didn't WANT carver to die, i just wanted him to pay, but didn't you think he was kind of a jerk?
Jerk? Yes. Hate him? No.
The annotated dead
yeah, but still, he kill reggie and made kenny a pirate, i dont hate him hes mean tho
carlos? are you okay?
i hate lee right now, because clem wouldn't have left if lee heard this while he was sleeping.
Clem:
It means you are immature, in most cases.
The crew from Season 2.
hey dont judge, im not judging you all why do you judge me? geez.
Cant see the point of that.
We are not nice PPL!
I got pretty good from rest of your comments that you are immature.

I liked her, but she ended up being a huge let down.
And how can someone hates Luke ? :O
I told him that too xD
Even though i love kenny, sometimes he is a real shit.
My favorite moment was when Ben told him off. Freaking epic.
He actually says, he didn't mean to shoot Matthew and the gunshot was more out of panic than trying to kill someone and I saw where he was coming from and I started to like him alot more when he apologized, and opened himself up a little bit in Episode 2. I could write a short book on how much I hate Lilly.
Yeah Kenny was a dick in Season 1, a lot more likeable in Season 2 right?
Season 1-
Larry, Kenny and the Stranger
Season 2-
Everyone
EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize I already posted on this thread.
Oh well. :P
yea but he was just doing his job. Immediately after he shot that walker he was complaining about having to save her. If it was up to him he wouldn't care about clementine being attacked.
i'll give arvo a pass cause he never knew his sister turned. But after shooting clementine, he's on some thin ass ice.
Why do you hate Lilly? You Like Kenny, so i cant see any reason why you would hate Lilly.
and thats why ben is my favorite season 1 character, kinda reminds me of me in the ZA
Seriously? You think that? Watch that part again and then come back here. She looked pretty doomed and Kenny wasn't going to be able to get to her either.
