I just find it rather funny that you Hate Lilly for the same reasons i slowly started to dislike Kenny.
They aren't the same reasons at all though.
Yes, and Kenny is a prick, if you dont do as he wants or agree with him.
This always gets massively overplayed. There were a number of times where I didn't completely agree with him, and he was fine with me. Lilly was a genuinely unpleasant person 80% of the time she was onscreen. When you meet her for the first time she flips out about Carley and Glenn saving two children + their families. She even states that she shouldn't have to care about them because of the fact that the walkers don't either. Then after Larry goes on his rant about Ducking being bitten and collapses because of his heart issue, she has the gall to plead for the help of the strangers that she just advocated abandoning. She is a nice enough person for the rest of the episode, but this is largely attributed to the fact that she is having a group of people do her dirty work for her.
It would be one thing if Lilly moved on from how she acted in episode one, but that isn't so. Her first appearance in episode two is her completely flipping out and being completely irrational about bringing injured David Parker and Ben over to the group's camp. She was so worked about the control over the food distribution that she refused to listen to a word Kenny or Lee said about simply bringing them to the camp to treat David's wounds. Lilly literally gets all up in your face here and screams about "bringing more mouths to feed". She wasn't even problem solving, it was just incoherent ranting. She was insulting. When she gets defeated in the argument, she just reverted to stupid self pity and tried to show Lee how hard her job supposedly is. The rest of the episode she is pissy about leaving the Motor Inn to go to the St.Johns' farm.. because of the presence of bandits. Even when Lee brings up the fact that they could be attacked anywhere, she refuses to listen. When Kenny brings up the fact that the farm is more defendable then the Motor Inn, she refuses to listen. She is just illogical and obstinate. Later on she states her mistrust for the St. John family, and is yet so totally against anyone doing anything to investigate. And of course she naturally tried to get into a screaming match with Kenny about it. I understand her wanting to pack up and leave, but it simply didn't make any sense. Obviously the St.Johns knew where they lived, so leaving the area to prevent them from doing something to the group is pretty much a pointless endeavor. The vast majority of the group wanted to be at the farm, and things needed to be investigated. She finally does concede when Lee talks to her about it, and she does tell him to be careful.. so there is that I guess. Her theme in the remaining part of the episode is the Larry situation, which she obviously gets a pass for.
At the start of episode three, her character once again gets off to a fantastic start by flipping out about not wanting to leave the Motor Inn. It started out as a nice, calm discussion, but once she lost the argument she went into freak mode as usual. She also presents a nice double standard during the argument. She was so worried about the bandits attacking the St. John's farm, and that was her initial reasoning for wanting to leave. But when bandits line their own walls with arrows and bullet holes, she shrugs it off like it doesn't matter, as if the group should just cross their fingers and hope they aren't attacked. I understand the stolen drug issue that she brought up, but it was essentially a cop out of the actual discussion that was at hand. She simply said she didn't trust anyone and demanded everyone to leave her alone. After choosing to follow up with Lilly on this issue, she doesn't even act grateful. She told me if I didn't come back with evidence she was just going to assume that I was the one who stole the drugs. Great Lilly. 10/10 logic. She doesn't offer an ounce of thanks or gratitude after retrieving the drugs for her, though I guess she managed to actually remain somewhat calm. After the bandit attack though, that went out the window. She simply plays the blame game with almost everyone while having absolutely nothing to go on until Ben starts flipping out. She treated Carley like garbage. She demanded that everyone exit the RV so a judgement call could be made. Why everyone listened to this demand is beyond me. Outside the RV she cranks it up a notch, insulting and threatening people. When Carley finally stood up for herself (determinant), Lilly responded by shooting her in the head. After that she just played the self pity game... again. She doesn't own up for what she did. I personally abandoned her here, but if you decided to show her mercy, she responds by stealing your one working vehicle and abandoning the group anyway.
The overall difference between Kenny and Lilly is the fact that Kenny was generally a sensible man. He was capable of having a coherent discussion. His outbursts were honestly few and far between, and they were backed up with logic. He wasn't blindly obstinate and selfish like Lilly was. I would say that he could be blunt in his assertions, but he was generally always right, and didn't rely on being loud, obnoxious, and rude to force an opinion on someone. Lilly was someone who relied on aggression and demands to get what she wanted. I couldn't/can't take her seriously. Her body language and condescending attitude is a huge part of it for me as well.
This sentence describes Kenny perfectly.
Nope. Want to try giving me some examples showing otherwise?
Thats what Kenny did on season 1 and tried to do in season 2.
That's isn't true. He was A leader in season one, but he never elected himself as a leader to dish out demands. He made his opinions clear, but he didn't try to run people's lives. After Lilly's absence, Lee was clearly the bigger leader to the group.
Well to be honest, she was pretty broken at this point, so its understandable, but i still left her behind, because she was a threat to my group. The same i wanted to do with Kenny in season 2.
Her depression doesn't make it okay for her to murder someone because of mouthing off, or murder someone for stealing drugs.
As Kenny did with Ben and Jane.
Kenny never took it upon himself to kill Ben, so that's isn't a valid example. The Jane situation isn't even remotely comparable as he is fighting someone who he genuinely thought had murdered his adopted baby. Massive difference. I really don't understand why you are so black and white in your comparisons... it really makes zero sense.
So what about the Moonstar Lodge hostage situation?
Again, not even remotely comparable. If Kenny wanted to be truly selfish there he could have just walked away..
Obviously trying to save a group of people at the risk of his own life isn't a selfish act.
I just find it rather funny that you Hate Lilly for the same reasons i slowly started to dislike Kenny.
but even then she is still a c… moreomplete bitch to everyone else
Yes, and Kenny is a prick, if you dont do as he wants or agree with him.
He has literally zero reasoning skills, and I highly question his overall intelligence.
This sentence describes Kenny perfectly.
Her leadership ability SUCKS, and the fact that she sees herself as the self-proclaimed leader shows how huge her ego is.
Thats what Kenny did on season 1 and tried to do in season 2.
Kenny was right when he called her a dictator.
Yeah, Kenny was competing dictator.
Her ego went to her head, to the point where she thought she had the right to execute group members.

Oh I knew right as we were re-introduced to him and his new girlfriend that she was going to be used for his development so I already said my goodbyes to her, and when it happened I said "HAH! Called it!"
just because he sacrifices himself for clementine? but is it really that great of an sacrifice if he was going to die anyway and it was pretty much his fault clementine was in this position?
yeah, i knew kenny couldnt have love, plus shes indian like katjaa, so as soon as i met her i was sooooo sad, because she was so nice, and i knew she would die. when she was bit i killed the walker though. because i knew she wouldnt survive the amputation, so i killed the walker so ken could say his goodbyes. so sad.

just because he sacrifices himself for clementine? but is it really that great of an sacrifice if he was going to die anyway and it was pretty much his fault clementine was in this position?
Yeah I was trying to keep Clem a little humane like not letting her see Carver get killed by Kenny, but when I saw that happen I changed my mind and amputated her arm just to see how he'd react, so in the beginning of the fourth episode I axed her right in front of him and told him to move it and then told him off later in the episode just like my lee did in the first season.

well i can agree on the stranger since your group stole his life, and michelle was just a girl trying to survive like clem, and clem becomes more like her later on, but carver?! who doesn't hate carver?!
and also, it was the greatest sacrifice, your own life, for a little girl who is not even related to you, would you be willing to get bitten, cut off your arm, walk through a horde of walkers, with only a knife, kill a man with one arm, cover yourself in walker insides, walk through the walkers with no weapons, and let a little girl shoot you in the face? by your argument about lee, no, no you would not.

They already had problem with food, and bringing more people in for sake of humanity could easily get them all killed from starvation/scavenging more supplies. Is it wise to risk everyone dying, just for 2 random people you just met? There was nothing irrational about that. You seem to lack ability to tell the difference of whats rational and whats irrational, unless if you see dying as the priority. Even if they treated that guys wounds, he couldnt have just left the same day, so more food would have been wasted on 2 extra people.
At the start of episode three, her character once again gets off to a fantastic start by flipping out about not wanting to leave the Motor Inn. She had lost her father, of course she was being irrational. Just the as same with Kenny and plan to find Wellington. They both acted irrationally. Lilly because she just lost her father and he was possibly murdered by Kenny (debateable, lets not start anything on this one) And Kenny acted irrationally because he had lost all hope and getting AJ to safety was his priority. He was ignoring the fact that if there isnt Wellington or the place isnt standing still, they would most likely just die from the cold or starvation, AJ especially, since they didnt have any food left from him.
She told me if I didn't come back with evidence she was just going to assume that I was the one who stole the drugs. Great Lilly. 10/10 logic
Same could be said for Kenny's "baby killer Jane assumption"
When Carley finally stood up for herself (determinant), Lilly responded by shooting her in the head. After that she just played the self pity game... again. She doesn't own up for what she did. I personally abandoned her here, but if you decided to show her mercy, she responds by stealing your one working vehicle and abandoning the group anyway.
Yeah, at this point she was becoming a real threat to the group and after she murdered Carley, i just left her. Same reason i wanted to leave Kenny. He was a threat to me and people around me.

Sensible? No. He was living in denial after Duck was bitten. He wanted to search for boat, only form of transportation which would be used/stolen in first few days of za. He wanted to murder Ben because of a mistake. And then theres the moonstar lodge hostage situation, rambo truck plan, walker distraction with 2.40 minutes of time wasted because of Carver, plan to find Wellington, trying to kill Jane without being sure what happened. Kenny wasnt sensible man, he acted based on feelings rather than logic and rationality.
He was A leader in season one, but he never elected himself as a leader to dish out demands
No, he was being dictator just as much as Lilly was.
Her depression doesn't make it okay for her to murder someone because of mouthing off, or murder someone for stealing drugs.
Thats what i meant? Just like with Kenny, i understand his situation, but im not going to let that be an excuse to let him do what ever he wants.
Kenny never took it upon himself to kill Ben, so that's isn't a valid example
If they didnt stop him, Kenny would have killed Ben. Just few minutes later he wants Lee to do his dirty work.
The Jane situation isn't even remotely comparable as he is fighting someone who he genuinely thought had murdered his adopted baby. Massive difference. I really don't understand why you are so black and white in your comparisons... it really makes zero sense.
You dont murder others based on assumption. Thats what Lilly did and you are against that, so why allow Kenny to do it? You seem pretty biased.
Obviously trying to save a group of people at the risk of his own life isn't a selfish act.
Not group of people, just 2 he cares about. He caused Walter to die and didnt have any problems getting Alvin killed also.

His outburst were every 10-15 minutes EVERY. FUCKING. EPISODE.
he was generally always right,
Oh Really? "Duck will not die! hes not like the others"
"Maybe we could walk? Thats fucking stupid ben"
"Lee you have never been there for me because you let ben live"
Her depression doesn't make it okay for her to murder someone because of mouthing off, or murder someone for stealing drugs.
Yeah it did! she was mentally breaking down and couldnt trust anyone! Carley/Doug/Ben SHOULD have known what she was going through, it doesn't make it any less wrong. but i forgive her for it, its Carley/Doug/Bens Fault! your whole fucking argument is STUPID! Kenny is worse than lilly! if not the same!

Well he does have a point. He didnt keep walkie talkie away from Clem, he didnt keep eye on her after he had to tell the hard truth that they cant search for her parents. So yeah, he was being careless and the Stranger was able to kidnap Clementine and get got bit.
No , he does not have a point.
He wasn't being careless. He was taking precautions. It's that she ran away when he was asleep , what do you want him to do? Stay awake 24/7?

He literally just told her that they wont search for her parents. It was very careless of him not to assign someone to look after her while he is sleeping. Clementine managed to steal the walkie talkie and then the Stranger managed to kidnap her, after he most likely told her that he has Clementine's parents with him through the radio. Clementine was desperate and desperate people do stupid things. Lee should have known this.

that they wont search for her parents.
Determinant line
while he is sleeping
How the fuck was he supposed to know she would go that far?
desperate people do stupid things.
No shit.
The fault ultimately goes to 3 people, Lee, Kenny and Katjaa. They are the ones that do the most harm, considering chain of event happen after their actions. Stealing the supplies from car causes the Stranger to go insane, because that indirectly causes him to lose his wife and daughter. Not looking after Clementine gives the Stranger chance to kidnap her, so thats on Lee.
Well i'd like to think that this is cannon and that people dont lie to Clementine.
In other words , determinant...
He should have done atleast something, instead of expecting nothing to happen. You hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
She was "8". Lee never thought how much harm she could actually do but that doesn't make him careless. He still cared none the less. Everyone makes mistakes.

Exactly... She was just 8. Lee shouldnt have expected her to do the most rational thing. We have parents to look after kids for a reason.
He still cared none the less.
I think you are mixing the words "careless" and "indifferent".
The Stranger already had lied to Clementine about her parents, so they had every reason to be more careful with the radio and Clementine. The Stranger even knew where they were staying.

still a better villian than justin beiber. oh wait, no JB is the demon spawn of all demon spawns

No, he was being dictator just as much as Lilly was.
Thats what i meant? Just like with Kenny, i understand his situation, but im not going to let that be an excuse to let him do what ever he wants.
If they didnt stop him, Kenny would have killed Ben. Just few minutes later he wants Lee to do his dirty work.
You dont murder others based on assumption. Thats what Lilly did and you are against that, so why allow Kenny to do it? You seem pretty biased.
Not group of people, just 2 he cares about. He caused Walter to die and didnt have any problems getting Alvin killed also.
The guys trolling... probably
Lee is you. So if you hate lee then you hate yourself
No, he was not, when it got rough he responded with violence and threats and denial.
His outburst were every 10-15 minutes EVERY. FUCKING. EPISODE.
Oh Really? "Duck will not die! hes not like the others"
"Maybe we could walk? Thats fucking stupid ben"
"Lee you have never been there for me because you let ben live"
I didn't like Luke until Episode 4.
No , he does not have a point.
He wasn't being careless. He was taking precautions. It's that she ran away when he was asleep , what do you want him to do? Stay awake 24/7?
okay, you cant hate lee, if it weren't for lee clem would be dead. and lee is like a total badass!
owwwwww.... clem, put those meds... to good use....
i forgive you.
Determinant line
How the fuck was he supposed to know she would go that far?
No shit.
I dont hate Lee, im just pointing out that all of that was partly lee's fault for being careless.
mostly, omid's fault, kenny's fault, vernon's fault and Carley/Dougs Fault
Well i'd like to think that this is cannon and that people dont lie to Clementine.
He should have done atleast something, instead of expecting nothing to happen. You hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
Arvo: GOD DAMN IT CLEM WE WERE HAVING A MOMENT!
In other words , determinant...
She was "8". Lee never thought how much harm she could actually do but that doesn't make him careless. He still cared none the less. Everyone makes mistakes.
Exactly... She was just 8. Lee shouldnt have expected her to do the most rational thing. We have parents to look after kids for a reason.
I think you are mixing the words "careless" and "indifferent".
I think you need to realise he never thought clementine would do the most rational thing , but running away is FAR from it.
The Stranger already had lied to Clementine about her parents, so they had every reason to be more careful with the radio and Clementine. The Stranger even knew where they were staying.
Ben ,is this you?!
Lee was tired. You saw how fast he got to sleep. He was to tired and fatigued to tell anyone.
Thats why he should have explained that Clementine needs to be watched.
