Tough. I know who's clearly least badass.

Moving on to actual badasses and working up. I suppose Rick is next. I'm docking him some points for going all basket cased in S3. Going absolutely, delusionally out of your gourd under duress isn't very badass.

    Then it gets even tougher.

I'm going to go tie. Daryl, day in and day out is one of the most dangerous men left on the planet. In alot of situations I think he deserves more fear of being of his adversary.. On the other hand, Lee's no milquetoast himself. He's definitely someone it's a VERY bad idea to cross, and I can't see Daryl losing a limb like that and just keeping on because the stakes were too high to let a little thing like a recent and untrained amputation slow him down.

I really want to say it's clearly Daryl but I keep coming back to the belltower and Marsh House scenarios being pulled off in that condition like getting your arm chopped off just weren't no thing. I just can't imagine Daryl taking the equivalent injury without being done, at least for the rest of the day. If Hershel had had to take his right arm above the elbow after Andrea shot him, I just don't see him out hunting for Sophia at sunup the following morning.

Yeah: It's Lee Everett and Daryl Dixon sharing the BA belt.

  • No, it was pretty damn stupid.

  • Remember, Daryl not only got shot, but got an arrow through him.
And then had to climb a couple hundred feet up a difficult hillside covered with trees, fallen logs, and doing so with wet boots, which in that condition offered very little traction.
And thend walked all the way back to the farm.
    That's what I call tough!

Hey man. No arguments here. Daryl Dixon might just be the most dangerous left alive, if you good and get on his bad side, like I said.

But I have to speculate that had he caught a forking branch wrong in the fall and it literally pulled even his off-hand from his body, he may very well have made it. He would not, i don't think, wake up on a bed in the farmhouse and immediately be all "Good. Hershel bandaged me up. We got a plastic bag or something we can tie around my stump? I'm going back out to find that girl.'

The 3 most badass things Kenny ever did:

    1) Getting lucky... REAL lucky.
    2) Bludgeoning a man whose kneecaps were no longer operational to death.
    3) Being beaten about the head and shoulders so vigorously with a walkie-talkie that he went blind in one eye and likely sustained significant damage to his frontal lobe without being knocked unconscious.

  • And running straight to Andy St. John who was holding a gun to save Duck.

Shooting Carver unfortunatly not lethal at the ski resort

Showing that Carver was a real bad man and convinced the others that its really time to turn on Carver after tourturing Alvin Carlos Sarah and Kenny and Killing the one armed man and the cook in the ski lodge.

Jane tried to pull the same shit on Kenny but she killed more than him in this season and Kenny gave a lot more effort to save people too.

They could but they didn´t so next question...

If he didn´t go at that moment he would have died anyway and Clem remained in the hands of a fucked up crazy man who wanted to form a family (whatever that means) i hope a father figure and not the other thing ...

Yeah, I gotta give him Andy St John.

He ends up either getting a friend or two killed at the ski lodge, or giving up that much quicker. He surrenders regardless, though. Now surrender can be the right move. It can be the noble move, even the brave move in the right situation. Its very rarely the "badass" move.

Again, with convincing the group; taking the moral reins and showing good leadership in a dicey situation, while impressive and admirable, is not what I would consider the earmark of a "badass."

  • No Luke, No Vote

  • still better than daryl's unrealistic plot armor badass moments he should have not made it out of that funeral house if that was any other character they would have died there

I can't say you're wrong about it not being terribly consistent writing. Your point is legit on a certain level, except for this...

Plot armour is a completely legitimate pathway to fictional badassery, my friend. In the funeral home, that was honestly pretty damn badass. Being a fictional badass almost necessitates a certain level of the completely unbelievable.

Is 007 not a badass just because henchmen can't shoot him in the forehead 12 minutes into the movie? Is the blonde guy who climbs out of the rubble at the end of Die Hard not a badass even though "Yeah F'ing right!"? There are countless other examples of plot armour being a key ingredient in the fictional badass equation.

I think perhaps some of the other posters, such as the one who suggests Luke should be a part of this argument at all, neat character though he was, have a far less defined version of what this word means.

  • Yep, agree with this. Comic Rick is a serious badass. The TV show did two things which I can't say were wrong because they gave us some good stuff but the knock-on effect was a severely weakened Rick: 1) Kept Shane around much longer and made him the badass, 2) Gave us another badass in the form of Daryl. Badass overload and so Rick was dropped down the badass pecking order, making him just a little more unhinged and sad. Comic Rick came into his own very quickly and got more badass as the comics went on. He's a dangerous man.

It was the only way to get clem back and christa omid were expecting a child ,Kenny may have died so what options did he have? None..

And if Lee waited any longer he would have passed out before he got there or during the conversation is that better then?

No it isn't, and its not objective its acting like everything what you say is correct even if it never happened no matter how you played Clem was saved so .

It never happened so what is your point , Lee was on the edge of dying and did the only thing he that was right if Clem ever wanted to be free.

You keep on changing facts that happened and come up with maybes and ifs things that NEVER happened, you are still wrong but I guess you just can't handle that and want to be right with everything

Was it? He was already as good as dead and in his final hours he saved Clem

So it was heroic not stupid sure it was a risk he could also just kneel over and die and leave Clem were she was

I guess you just want to be wrong the whole time, because everything uin the Z-A was a risk .

Then looking for supplies was also a risk and the St.Johns was also a risk and leaving Clems house ,leaving the motel getting on the train was also stupid in your eyes i guess and not leaving Lily behind and going to Crawfort and and and and and , i'm just saying everything can be wrong in your eyes but that doesn't make it wrong

Everything outside is a risk, if you don't like it maybe the sims is more the game for you or if you like action LA Noire or Mafia2(i guess not because then everyone would be a criminal and what they did was wrong an bla bla bla and so on and so on

And you can kep on blabbering , but it doesn't matter what you say Clem is saved
