Kenny fans, You need to grow the fuck up and stop insulting Jane, in the near future the same fate all of you will live, you will not be trusted, people will think that you're lying manipulative, if y'all keep going like this.
OK, I don't remember that scene so well, anyway I just got really angry with Kenny when he said I ought to slap you because Clementine sounded so sad when she talked, I know Kenny isn't a bad guy and I don't dislike him but he is an asshole, back in season 1 if you don't help him with Larry he doesn't help you when you're in trouble, even if you were on his side on everything before that, that being said also in Season one he saves you when Larry leaves you to die even if you were an asshole to him and his family saying "I'm not letting anyone else die tonight, even if he is an asshole" or something like that.
I know he isn't a bad guy but my life hasn't been exactly normal and I was in a fairly similar position to him when I lost someone I cared about and I had a knife to someone I held responsible for it, but I stopped, not because I wanted to or mercy or even because it was right, no I didn't care about that one bit, hell I didn't care if I went to jail for it, no I stopped because killing him would hurt someone I cared about and it frustrates me that Kenny wouldn't do same, in fact he does it right in front of her and that's just wrong to me, I mean everyone has different moral values and what Kenny does to Jane in front of Clementine, well that's definitely against my own personal moral code, I can understand him but I can also hate him for it, because I know I wouldn't have made the same choice.
OBJECTION!
Well you are forgetting that by shoving Clementine he reopened her wound and it hurt her so much that she wasn't able to st… moreand up,
He did not shove Clementine. He stabbed Jane in the leg, causing Jane to fall down agaist Clem, sending her to the ground. Are you seriously misremembering the scene so much or are you just a troll?
he threatens you with violence "I ought to slap you",
There is being deliberatibily being biased, and then there is this. You are taking things way to literally. If you chosse that dialogue option, you are basically spitting am Lee´s love and his sacrifice. He is just affected by what Clem said.
but anyway both Jane and Kenny are assholes
Kenny makes mistakes, but he is far for being a asshole.
anyway I just got really angry with Kenny when he said I ought to slap you because Clementine sounded so sad when she talked,
Kenny was not angry, just dissapointed. You are taking things way to literally. If you chose that dialogue option, you are basically spitting am Lee´s love and his sacrifice. He is just affected by what Clem said.
if you don't help him with Larry he doesn't help you when you're in trouble, even if you were on his side on everything before that,
He does not want to risk himself for somebody he does not trust-because Lee did not back him up in grey morality decision-and because of guilt.
I know he isn't a bad guy but my life hasn't been exactly normal and I was in a fairly similar position to him when I lost someone I cared about and I had a knife to someone I held responsible for it, but I stopped, not because I wanted to or mercy or even because it was right,
But Kenny did not held Jane responsible for it, he had very good reason to think Jane killed her. He knew that she had that mentality, that others drag you down, and because she was not hurt and AJ was dead, he reached the logical conclusion: Jane left the baby behind because in a snowstorm, chased by walkers, the baby was just a libiality. It does not help matters am all that Jane is the one that tries to kill Kenny first. He is a much figthing for revenge that figthing for his life.

Not really, I chose that dialogue option because it sounded like she felt guilt over Lee's death which was consinstent with the characterization I ha d given Clementine over the course of Season 2, it's not like I don't understand why he'd say that but considering I had told him before that I felt responsible over the deaths of not only Lee but also Sarita and the others it did seem like he was just too focused on his anger to notice what was going on, considering how he always talked about family and all that he came across as hypocritical to me since Clementine is now pretty much the closest thing he has to family, look I understand Kenny I just disagree with what he does and what he focuses on, and the thing I like about the game is that the choices don't all affect the story but they affect the context of the story so there can be different meanings to the same scenes with the same dialogue options, and I think my personal interpretation of that scene makes sense with the context I had.
About Larry, I know that's why he doesn't help but that doesn't change that he was wrong and he should have, I helped him whenever he was in trouble, just because of one disagreement in what was a very difficult choice isn't exactly justifiable, I mean I understood why he did it, why couldn't he understand why I did what I did?
That's my point of view anyway, I know I expected too much from him but isn't that the whole point of the game?
To make decisions based on your own personal moral values and biases?
It just happens that my personal interpretation of the character isn't as generous as yours, but like I said based on my own version of the story all my worries and views seem valid.
Like I've been saying due to my own personal biases, values and experiences, even though I know he had a good reason to do it I think it was wrong and I think he should have stopped and I think I would have stopped if I was on his place, that's the whole point of having the player make the decision, there are multiple interpretations of what's going on and no choice is necessarily right, Jane's a fucking bitch that's for sure, she shouldn't have done what she did but Kenny had no right to murder her and he should have stopped, that's how I feel anyway, and maybe due to your own personal views and experiences I'm wrong but that's why the game works, if there was only one interpretation then there would only be one choice and it would be the right one and there would be no discussion at all, like I said I can see your point and I can more or less understand it but I don't think I'm wrong either.
anyway I just got really angry with Kenny when he said I ought to slap you because Clementine sounded so sad when she talked,

I did not ask you to condone that I told that to Clementine, I just wanted to say that you were taking things way to literary-he could never hurt her- and that he had his reasons for do it. What Lee did it Savanah... Is basically the driving force behind Kenny character. He respects Lee, no matter what happened before, because of that. He wished he was still with then. Like I said, that Clem basically spitted on Lee´s love and sacrifice rubbed him wrong, but it was nothing as serious as you to think.
I know that's why he doesn't help but that doesn't change that he was wrong and he should have,
Its a humane thing thing do. I am no justifiying him, just asking you to understand.

Its not generous, you just seem to think(in your other post) like he did not help Lee out of spite or something. There were reasons.
even though I know he had a good reason to do it I think it was wrong and I think he should have stopped and I think I would have stopped if I was on his place,
Murder is always wrong-I get that. But you are being a bit too... unfair, I guess. You talk like the situation depended on Kenny, when it was Jane that wanted the figth, Jane that almost killed him by slashing its stomacth, and Jane could have stopped the figth when she wanted but she did not do it. Am the point where Kenny stabs her in the chest, is kill or be killed-there was no going back.
but I don't think I'm wrong either.
I think you are wrong in your interpretation of Kenny-I sees to me you are saying he is 'rage moster', 'a rabid dog' or something like that- but I get what you are saying and why you chose to shoot him. I am just here to defend his character, and nothing more.

I mean Kenny shouldn't have killed her but she's the one that fucked everything up, she shouldn't have lied about AJ, she shouldn't have provoked Kenny and she should have stopped the fight as soon as it started getting serious, while I don't think Kenny would have stopped if she had said AJ was alive as it would most likely have seemed like a lie to save her skin, but she didn't even try and she's the one that puts Clementine in that position to begin with, so trust me while I disagree with Kenny's actions I've got little sympathy for Jane and the only reason I care is because of Clementine, not Jane.

I didn't shoot Kenny and stayed with him in the end, and I still recognize how ignorant the OP of this thread is. How could you even think like that, implying that a character altered and tailored by each individual player would without a doubt condemn your choice to kill Kenny no matter what?
I think shooting Kenny is a very valid option, and it's a choice I almost made. This goes for both Ken fans AND Jane fans: TT would NOT include a wrong choice, no matter how hard you try and convince yourself otherwise, each choice has VALID REASONS TO EXIST. And that is a fact (unlike your opinion) So act with some semblance of maturity and try to actually understand other peoples' perspectives before writing them off as idiots or horrible human beings. (Side note: "horrible human beings"? Really? You DO know that it's JUST a video game, right?)
This is why I hate "debating" my choices. "Debating" implies that someone can be right. Can we not just express our reasons for making our choices so we can empathize better?

I agree, it's not like math, sometimes it's just not the right choice Maybe I did the right choice or not, maybe you did the right choice or not.
BTW,did you just stumbled upon this catastrophe in the forum, I haven't see you around commenting, or were you lurking the shadows?
I'm very conflicted about the choice, actually. So, no, not completely satisfied, unfortunately.
I was lurking. Bit bored at the moment so I figured why not?
Liar or not, she did NOT deserve to die. She showed no significant mental instability and would've proven to be a valuable and skilled survival partner. She was willing to risk her life in a fight with Kenny in order to do what she thought was best for Clem. But if she's willing to lie about that, I would always feel uncomfortable trusting her. There'd always be that doubt...
Kenny however, is a mentally questionable liability. Despite that, he would without a doubt protect Clem and AJ no matter what the cost to himself. He's proven to be a good mechanic, have good instincts and have the pragmatism necessary to do the hard things to survive. Plus, in my opinion, he's family, and that bond is likely a lot more special and meaningful than the one shared between Clem and Jane.
I've been thinking lately that TT did quite a poor job making this a balanced choice. I just can't shake the feeling that going with Jane is a more valid option. They don't seem like equally viable possibilities.
Honestly, the only reason I didn't shoot Kenny was because I couldn't kill someone I cared about like that in real life. Unless they were a danger to someone I cared about even more.
I don't hate Kenny, I just hate that he killed Jane, and like I said while I liked Jane before, after that battle...

Even though I'm a Kenny fan, I felt that killing him in order to protect Jane was the right thing to do.I can relate that The poor guy has witnessed so many traumatic incidents during his time in the PA, that made him so mentally unstable and will kill someone over an accident, and Jane was just trying to do what best for Clem and the baby.

He said "Your cancer mother" which is an insult in the Dutch language, so he's Dutch. Well not really, I think he's a foreign Dutch, cause his name is not Dutch. Anyways, I'm Dutch and I want to apologize for his behavior, what an absolute idiot. He's probably still a kid and doesn't know how to handle a mature conversation.
She was doing what she thought was best , and Kenny just wants some peace and quiet and after what he's been through i completely understand.
Only she was in over her head, if she talked to him she may have gotten through eventually and leaving AJ out of it (she made very clear that she didn't have anything with AJ and would desert him in a hearthbeat) Alvin Junior's death wouldn't have triggered his rage after he found faith in life again in AJ and there was Jane "he's he's..".
Most of us would have done the same i think, and what do we know about jane ?
Only the things she told us but if its true thats another thing maybe she slaughtered her entire family we don't know for sure... while we know Kenny's story through him Katjaa and Duck.
Kenny did a lot of things i would've done different but i could say the same about Jane, i made my choice after i saw the look on her face after Clem returned from the truck Kenny tried to fix , extreme jealousy and after she goes that she's seen the way he acts before i thought "well i've seen the look you had on your face even more" Jane couldn't stand the fact that Clem had a history with Kenny so he had to die

To all of the people who criticize people who shot Kenny: Get over it, we all have opinions on what choices are right and wrong, and if you can't accept that, too bad. Stop being inconsiderate, idiotic babies who think that they are always right, accept the fact that we all have differing opinions, and get over it!

Me neither![:/ :/](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
You should stop with the "racism" between Jane fans, Kenny fans and people that don't care, you may not be the only one, but it still sucks.
Its a humane thing thing do. I am no justifiying him, just asking you to understand.
Its not generous, you just seem to think(in your other post) like he did not help Lee out of spite or something. There were reasons.
I think you are wrong in your interpretation of Kenny-I sees to me you are saying he is 'rage moster', 'a rabid dog' or something like that- but I get what you are saying and why you chose to shoot him. I am just here to defend his character, and nothing more.
I wish we had gotten a lot more Clementine and the others.
I should be mod because of my name.
What do you mean that's not how it works?
Of course that's how it works
XD
I actually didn't shoot him, I was just waiting for him to stop and he didn't, I got the Wellington ending, like I said I understand Kenny but I think he's wrong and that he should have stopped, I know Jane stabbed him but I know I personally wouldn't have been able to do it, specially in front of Clementine holding the gun like that and crying, he was in danger, I get that but even so I think he should have stopped, it was wrong, like I said I probably have different moral values than you, I've done bad things and I've hurt people, I know what it's like to be that angry but I also know you can control it and even in those situations you can make a choice, maybe it's because I still feel guilty over the fact I almost cut that guy's throat almost a decade ago but I wouldn't kill her not like that, like I said maybe it's because of guilt but I have gone out of my way to help people I hate since then, I'm not a saint and I'm not exactly judging Kenny since I did forgive him a few minutes after that but I do think he was wrong and that he shouldn't have done that and I really hate that he did, he's an interesting character though and Season 2 would probably suck without him.
Ah, but that´s the problem: he did not see her like that. I think that, if he did, he could have stopped, but he did not see her like that.
I hate Jane just as much for what she did to him-because it was just wrong. But well, I get what you are saying. I do not agree with you, but I get what you are saying.
Besides, Jane showed she was willing to leave Kenny for dead just a few minutes before. That is just as wrong, in my opinion.
I don't hate Kenny, I just hate that he killed Jane, and like I said while I liked Jane before, after that battle...
Just like your opinion mate.
Okay.
Good to know.
Why can't we just stop bumping this pointless thread? <_<
but why only adress the Kenny fans then ?
Oh wait Jane fans can't do anything wrong in their own eyes.
But on the other hand if the discussions lasted 1 hour this forum would have died a long time ago
Well in your eyes you made the right choice and accept that, mate.
Actually I'm satisfied with my choice with Jane. I think REGRET IS EATING YOU MA FRIENDS WHY??
Ah, fine.
Just one thing. By stopping the figth I mean that she could have run to the car where AJ was instead of, you know, try to kill Kenny.
Great minds do think alike mate, and I agree with everything you say.
This thread is getting annoying, so I'll say this:
To all of the people who criticize people who shot Kenny: Get over it, we all have opinions on what choices are right and wrong, and if you can't accept that, too bad. Stop being inconsiderate, idiotic babies who think that they are always right, accept the fact that we all have differing opinions, and get over it!
*waiting for comments saying "this"
But then your comment is also wrong because the Jane group is just as bad ...
So your comment is one sided
I don't understand completely what you were trying to say. Could you please explain? xD, dumb me....
Yeah, I was just tired of the entire 'Kenny shooters are idiots' arguments. If there's a thread just like this for Jane, I'll probably refrain from EVER visiting that thread to keep my sanity xD
