In the pines
I know a lot of people liked "in the pines" the season 2 episode 2 song for the credits do I've decided you give you guys a bit of background on it.
"In the pines" is an old american folk song dating back to 1870s. Who wrote the song? No one really knows but many artists have played it the most famous being Leadbelly.
Leadbelly born Huddie Ledbetter on January 20,1888 was blues and folk musician. He is a legend and regarded as a pioneer of rock and roll. There are two different versions of "in the pines" or "where did you sleep last night that Leadbelly recorded.

Now another well known person to record this song was Kurt Cobain. His version is based on leadbelly's so why not add it.
