The only problem I had with Kenny this season is: once he showed up a lot of potential went to waste for the other characters, and that is the writers faults not Kenny as a character.
I suspected as much even before playing. Kenny wanting Luke to die and then nearly murdering Arvo over the fact that Luke died wouldn't make much sense.

The only thing he's guilty of is not wanting Clem to walk on the cracked ice, which could get both her and Luke killed (And nearly does if you do go to help him). Luke himself was telling Clem to stay away, even.
I wouldn't be surprised. That's how Kenny's always been. He wants to get rid of any threat to preserve the rest of the group. He thought Luk… moree was good as dead and didn't want Clem helping him in the risk she would die. Very selfish of Kenny. Only looks after his "family."

I just played that scene with subtitles (That's right, usually I have them off. I like to live on the edge) and unfortunately what Kenny say… mores is overwritten by Mike and Bonnie's dialogue, but to me it sounded a lot like "He'll fall through!" instead of "Let him fall through." It seems that Kenny was only trying to dissuade Clem from walking over to Luke and putting weight on the ice... which is also exactly what Luke was trying to do.
Some people get carried away with Jane vs Kenny, and it doesn't take a lot to get them to start going. It was an honest mistake though, so don't beat yourself up over it. Hell, I could barely understand what Kenny was saying when I was specifically looking for that line. Don't sweat it, man.
