I was very disapointed from WatchDogs as well. I didn 't care for it from the beggining. I started watching a LP cause there was nothing else I could do at the time. The gamepley looked really good in my opinion but the story was just a "copy-paste" of anything they could find. Now I am trying to force myself to watch an LP of "BadBlood". I have to give it a point for the details in the artstyle, like the map. But the graphics were not as good as they could be, the story was boring and empy as fuck and just looking at the way they went strait to the ending caused me to be like: I just wasted a few hours of my life just so I could see Aiden kill a dubstep guy, go to a lighthouse and find out his parter is a dick. I would put a spoiler tag but it is so stupid that it doesn 't make sence. About AC I do like it as a game. The 3rd one was boring as fuck, didn 't get half way trough but I liked the 4rth one, even though I think they went too slow on us. When it comes to the other two games I am not really into racing games, so I wouldn 't be the best to critisize them.
Well Ubisoft's treatment of PC gaming just makes me hate them even more. I can't get excited for new AC because its just more of the same. … more Doesn't even have the cool pirate theme that hooked me with Black Flag. They have good games but they are spitting on PC gamers and expecting us to like it. The whole thing surrounding Watch Dog's release was just a joke. Look at the reveal trailer from like 3 years ago and then see what it is on PC now. They flat out lied. Not only was that false advertising but from what I hear the PC version is practically broken and this is the kind of thing we can expect from them in the future. So I was excited for The Crew and The Division and now they're not even on my radar.
The Crew was the racing game. I'm not big into racing either but the idea of the entire US as one big game map with persistent presence throughout sounded great. Division is a 3rd person cover shooter kinda like a mix between Counter Strike meets Rainbow Six with a heavy emphasis on team work in a big open world with tons of other players. I felt like it was an MMO for those of us who don't like MMOs. But like I said Ubisoft is going to screw over the customers some how. Thats like their business strategy just like EA.
Dont get me wrong. I enjoyed Watch Dogs. Aside from the lame story its a decent cover open world game with a cool hack mechanic. The invade other players hack them is so much fun! I can forgive shitty story when the game itself fun. And I've like every single AC besides the first one. They make fun games..... They're just getting greedier and greedier and Uplay is just ass especially on the computer. Worst DRM since Games for Windows Live!

Does anyone know if downloading desktop apps from the publisher's website on Windows 8.1 has a possibility of a virus? I wanna get the Start menu back but my brother told me not to download from anywhere but the app store.
I will give you that playing with friends is always better. And I did n 't say it was not fun. I actually think I said the opossite. I just HATED the storyline. AAnd are right about them wanting more. We might sometimes say the less the more but that rarely goes for games. We need games with a good story, some good gameplay and if the game is an MMO(?) then it should be fun to play with others. An example is Destiny. The gameplay was good. Playing it with friends was better. But I do not want to have to go online to read what is going on with the story. If I wanted a game with no story at all I would just play Calll of Duty.
