The end of humans in ZA
I was thinking about the possible end of all human life in ZA. do you think that everyone would be extinct? if yes, how long the last human on earth will survive? this is why I care so much about AJ. (Although I think that he will not survive) I would do anything for him except sacrificing clementine, because she is one of the best protagonists that the game already made, in my opinion) If people can not have children, the human race will certainly be extinct after a certain time living in the apocalypse. how the zombies can survive with nothing to eat on earth? after the last human dies, will be just they and that's all?
sorry for any mistake. I am Brazilian and I'm using google translator

Well I mentioned this in another thread at one point but I think a zombie outbreak would be much easier to contain than we see in media, and that's part of the reason so many stories skip ahead - it misses out those early days where there are just a few zombies and a massive amount of people. We seem to be presented with worlds where 98% of the population or so are zombies. But even airborne diseases don't result in that.
Once you know what you're dealing with, and I think people would do that long before the undead got to even close to the numbers we see in film and comics, games etc, then you can contain it. You dispose of the dead properly, put in safety procedures and in a couple of years it is all just a part of life. Like the end of Shaun of the Dead.
So actually, I think we'd all be fine after a while.
I have more opinion about the end.If it will be like that i think ( I am Christan) it will be a cleanup that The God want to make to give all the bad away.He will probably restart the world . Like it says it did before.
Wow, Google Translator worked for once. Did you edit it after?
When a significant portion of the species is killed off, it experiences what is called 'bottle-necking,' where the diversity of genes decreases significantly, even if the population increases back somewhat. That leaves them vulnerable to all sorts of other diseases, even outside of zombies, which can cause another drastic and catastrophic blow to the human population. Usually bottle-necking is a precursor to the extinction of the species, even if it survives the initial mass death.
No, because we know how to dispose of our dead.
If the rule "You die you transform no matter how you die" will continue the stop with be imposible.
yes i edit some points XD. i know some things in english, but im not fluent. i guess google translator never worked very well. lol
But then again, what is the point of the human race continuing on? Why bother? I mean, it's going to end at some point in the future. Why not just survive in the apocalypse and enjoy yourself as much as possible, without the added hassle/danger of having children. Let humans go extinct man, we need it.
All those children killed... What a great, just god, clearing away those villainous scum! Hallelujah!
no you could stop it. people would just get stabbed in the head after they die. it would become a common thing to do.
Gene pool would be so small that future generations would be fucked up anyway.
Yep. Within a year we'd have competing manufacturers of head boring tools and emergency services would carry them. They'd be by all hospital beds too. It would become quite a lucrative business.
Well...yes. That's actually what would happen.
Humanity will somehow manage to contain it and make the biggest amount of profit.
yeah pretty much it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
you have a point. but I think it would be weird human race be extinguished. is natural want to survive despite adversity. scientists should search desperately for a cure. If not, will appear that everything done on earth until that point will have been in vain. For example, the sun will get your end one day, but until then we'll probably have an effective way to replace your energy. it is difficult to simply wait for the extinction of a race, especially humans, who are rational (even if some are bastards that seem irrational, most wants to live)
The comics seem to be hinting at humans slowly making a come-back, and in reality we'd be able to adapt to this calamity within a decade. It'd be quite interesting to see a civilization which has fully adapted to the phenomenon of undeath.
Hey, it actually makes sense to think of the undead as another Biblical plague designed to wipe the slate clean and test humanity's faith.
Carver, at the very least, seemed to think this was the case.
