It's good to take a break. Honestly, we're running out of things to discuss haha. When you're ready, you can come back. If you never feel as if you should come back and find yourself happier without all this hate and drama around you, then hey, best of luck to you! Never talked with you before, but I've seen you around the forums. Good luck!
And here we are, again, yet another forum member that I most likely won't see for some time, it saddens me to think about how many people that I used to see around here daily have just up and gone.
I can't claim to know how you feel, however I believe I understand your reasons for doing this, if taking a break is what you need then by all means do so, it is your decision.
Now to address the issue brought up: No matter how controversial or biased an opinion might be it is still just that an opinion, people are going to have different views and opinions on various topics and they are free to voice them, you are of course free to disagree with them, however the manner in which you do so is very important.
Frankly I hate to see when people generalise by calling someone a "fan" or a "hater" of a particular character simply because that is the easiest way for them to distinguish between others, the world is not just black and white like some would have you believe, there is an awful lot of gray around in fact, because in the end all we really are is just people with differing opinions.
I'm probably just going to be leaving the TWDG part of the fourms and head onto the Borderlands part of the fourms (Hopefully the nonsense from this fourm doesn't come onto it.I get tired of the pointless meme posting on important/discussion threads and people just saying 'K" like why post if you aren't gonna post anything of importance)
ANYWAYS enough rambling on about me I hope you'll be okay and just do what you think is best for you. :C
I might leave soon too, but not because anybody has been insulting me More because... I don't know... I do love these games, but I think I've almost spent as much time on these forums as I have playing the games themselves.
If I leave I'll come back from time to time, for sure.
I have no idea who you are. Bye!

I just feel depressed every time I read someone else calling me "sick" or implying I'm "evil" under their breath.
Well, those are the replies you'd get if you tried to justify baby murder and selfishness.
But, it's your choice. I'm sorry if I've offended you, that stuff doesn't sit right with me. And the whole baby sitting a kid and sacrificing them to Satan thing? I was just messing with you. Hope you weren't insulted. Sarcasm is kind of my thing.
Take a break if you need, but it wouldn't be so great to leave forever. People have seemed to do that lately, still surprised as to why I'm here. You take care of yourself and get over whatever's going on.
Having the unpopular opinions can really suck sometimes. Especially when you want to be vocal about it... (I say this as a fan of Arvo and J… moreane, both seem to get a lot of hate. And fans of these characters get hate too, unfortunately. There's nothing wrong with hating characters, but I think anyone who sends hate to someone because they don't agree with that person's opinions is a shitty thing to do, honestly. It's just a game. People need to calm down.)
Killing an innocent baby to save yourself, letting that baby be torn to bits by walkers, have all those people die to protect that baby die for nothing, etc. To be honest, that's called evil. Not saying that the person who'd do this is particularly evil, just the act itself. Some people freeze up, some people do it accidentally. Doesn't make them evil. But if purposely done due to your selfishness, then that's pretty damn evil.
Coming out with admitting that you would use a defenseless human baby to your advantage in a way that would leave it open to the possible and very likely fate of being eaten is going to net you some serious stigma with society.
I'm not calling it sick. This does not fit with my baseline definition for sick. I would not call it evil either, that would imply a delight or satisfaction in death or suffering to exist or be prolonged(also baseline). But there is still something to be said for intentionally leaving a child behind knowing it can and will very likely die because you did. Knowing this affects how close to you I would allow myself or others to get. I would not trust you with the care or protection of any baby or child, plural or singular, and possibly people you don't personally care for.
While I don't approve of the way others antagonize you, I can't blame them for how they feel. Don't be surprised that people here are castigating you for defending such a perspective. Most of society, or that of at least 1st-and-3rd-world countries, feels the same way, because it really is awful and beneath us.
I understand that this is the sort of thing that becomes comprehensible after the fall of civilization, but I don't believe being sure of your own survival or that of others is worth stooping to such a deed, which I believe to be below even murder. Surviving by doing such a thing isn't worth living with the knowledge that it was done.

The caveat being "if". In the first scenario, the baby at least has a chance, even if that chance is dependent on the survival of the caretaker. In the latter, the baby invariably dies. You seem to have missed my closing statement.
keep in mind that we're all here to discuss about the game and not to discuss about ourselves (ie when someone calls someone else a asshole for doing something).

Why do people feel the need to create a whole thread just to pretty much say- **My feelings were hurt by a few comments posted from a group
of anonymous nobodies . ** You've made your choice long before you created this thread. So why? To be talked into staying??? At this point I have to ask...how old are you?
"It is just a game, people take this way too seriously."
I agree with zykelator's response to this argument. It is a dumb argument to make in it's own right, however I believe you don't understand people's anger on the subject. ClemInTime wasn't talking about sacrificing AJ in-game. He was literally saying, if he were in this scenario, he would leave a baby as a 'distraction' to walkers so he could get away. That's a pretty evil, sociopathic choice to make, and the fact he's trying to justify it makes him even more annoying to deal with.
"People get too emotional, all i'm saying.
ie) This thread."
Not really the case I don't think. No one on this forum (or on the internet in general) really reacts all that passionately to comments that frustrate them. At most, someone will think "what a retarded opinion" and call the person out for it. Emotions are never invested too much in these discussions so the idea we are being too emotional doesn't make much sense to me.

;-; It's always sad knowing one of the members of our Community leaves because of reasons like those or for any reasons really :c

@Everyone'sClemInTime Im slightly disappointed. Why would you get offended because of other people's opinions?
(!) Saltlick123 will remember that
Saltlicks Rock!!! Salt 305 for Pres!!!

I'd definitely vote for him.
Sad to hear you've got to go, but be back soon Everyone'sClemInTime.
Its a fucking video game forum. Relax bro. None of the discussions here really matter.
I think I'll be joining you and leaving, this place is just too depressing sometimes.
Look at my name. My user name.
<-------------------- See it.
If you want to leave, your choice.
I'm still here. Do I get pity?
Yay pity...
;-;
See you soon
I know for a fact I've spend more time on the forum than on the video game. And I've spent a lot of time on the video game

Goodbye.
If you already haven't, you should join the tumblr side of TWDG fandom. There's a shit ton of people who love Arvo.

If he dies, the baby dies. If the baby dies, he has a chance. Its pretty logical decision.
I don't see why everyone gets on his case about wanting the baby gone,
It is just a game, people take this way too seriously.
Its just hypothetical situation.
"its just game" is also rather silly argument.
People get too emotional, all i'm saying.
ie) This thread.
Arn't we all here to discuss about the game and everyone has their right of free speech?

Some threads are full of bullshit:
Some threads are full of rainbows:
Some threads are not even worth looking at:
But most threads are on-topic and full of joy:
keep in mind that we're all here to discuss about the game and not to discuss about ourselves (ie when someone calls someone else a asshole for doing something).
Realistically, keeping a baby with you would just result in both of you dying. Theres nothing to debate in that.
That's very lovely, but I'm not asking for a debate. Telling me the odds are 0-to-higher# won't affect my hypothetical decision or my opinion.
Ignore them.
No offense intended, but it did seem like you might have been trolling in that thread. That certainly doesn't excuse any insults, though.
