Arvo as Season 3's Protagonist?

I personally wouldn't mind this as he could be played as an evil person, or as a guy who was just scared. This would also be a different take on Clementine's story:

Season 1 was through her guardian's eyes

Season 2 was through her own eyes

Season 3 could be through someone else 's eyes, who would likely meet up with her again, but see her as an enemy this time.

This would make Clementine's journey be from innocent little girl, to hero and then to an enemy, thoughts?

Comments

  • It would be amazing to speak broken english throughout Season Three.

Seriously though, I'd rather be Clementine again. It feels like her journey is still not complete.

  • [SHOOT SELF]

  • As much as I like him, I'd have to say no. Arvo's accent and his smaller grasp on the English language than everyone else would probably frustrate a lot of people. Though playing as someone with an injury would be pretty interesting.

Telltale: We shall make Arvo Protagonist and troll the community into thinking it'll be about grown-up Clem, in the process we'll make....1 billion dollars!

  • Fuck. No.

I would never get out of the first QTE. I'd get him chomped then call it canon and never play again :p lol

  • Yeah that was so interesting the first time, and so problematic. Bit on the arm Forgotten after the first night Never mentioned in any meaningful way again

You and 1% chose to play as Arvo.

So much Arvo hate coming. Run for your lives! :p

Honestly though that's not the best idea. Most people hate his guts, and most of the dialogue would be >Speaking Russian<, he doesn't know much English I think...

  • Fuck that.

Besides, it'd be too hard for me, I wouldn't be able to get past the first QTE. I would love watching Arvo get ripped apart every time I fail the it and start laughing at him.

  • I like Arvo, but they'd be idiots to do that. They should know that having him shoot Clementine would gain the everlasting hatred of the fandom (Which it did, obviously) and therefore making him protagonist at this point would backfire so so badly. They would have made a stronger effort to portray him in a sympathetic light or at least be a friend to Clementine.

So in conclusion, there's no way in hell they'd do it. No way. I wouldn't mind him just being in S3, but not as protag.
