Snap Decisions
Were there any moments in the game where you made a choice with out even thinking or reading any other options. I can think of two both in Amid the Ruins. When the deck fell and Sarah went down I hit the grab hand button so fast I didn't even see the save Sarah option until it was fading away. The second was when Rebecca turned I shot as soon as the option popped up and that was a What The Hell Did I Just Do moment for me.

[hug Kenny]
[Shoot Rebecca]
[Cover Luke]
[Shoot Kenny]
I usually always let the timer run until it's nearly out before pressing an option, but I chose [Shoot Kenny] quickly, because I wasn't going to let him kill someone.
I was surprised I waited until he stabbed her the second time before I shot.
Stick tongue out at AJ.
Killed Danny St John.
My worst decision, and would replay to take it out but I follow the rules of canon playthrough. ;-;
"I wasn't going to let him kill someone."
But you were ok with Clem killing someone?
No. I read every option for every decision, but I read pretty fast
There were plenty where it was a "no contest" decision though; too many to count.
Where was that option?
Adorable
I normally read them all but those two times it was just instinct or something.
[ Hug Kenny/Kenny/Luke ] Give me a hug option and imma click it!
[ Try to save Christa ] although one can guess what option 2 was.
[ Help Luke ] I just wanted him out of there.
I think right after Kenny gets attacked by the walker in the forest.
:P
I'm also re-posting this because it told me my post needs to get approved by a moderator, not sure what that's about :P
To prevent murder? Yes.
I didn't consider Clem as a factor, I was putting myself in the leading role and seeing what I would do. Besides in my playthrough, she had already killed the Stranger in a similar circumstance.
Yeah I completely agree. Was just curious what your take on the situation was
"Is Nick a good man?"
That choice was so easy. I was only looking for that dialog option and thus it saved his life! Although it didn't work out so well......
[Shoot Kenny]
Not Kenny hate, but I couldn't let Kenny kill Jane.
[Hug Kenny] Both times it was available. Didn't even read the other options. I'm still not convinced that they even exist.
[Save Baby] I went for AJ immediately at the start of Episode 5. No regrets.
[Save Sarah] Didn't listen to Jane's shit about not being able to save her for even a second. Stayed behind for her without a second thought.
[Distracted scavengers for Christa] She's from Season 1. That's all I needed.
[ HUG KENNY. ] [ SLAP SARAH ] [ SAVE CHRISTA ] [ SPARE DANNY'S LIFE]*
Double post, ignore pls.
Kill both St. Johns, hug Luke, and shoot Kenneth second time the choice was given.
I think Kenny was attacked by the walker the next day, right?
Ah yes that's true, because he gets attacked then they reach the lake, then this part takes place before they find the fenced area.
I wanted to kill them both so much but I couldn't do it with everyone watching.
Every time there was an option to not kill someone I didn't, I kinda regret it with the Stranger because it's worse for Clementine to kill him than me but I just couldn't, I had to stop, I don't think he deserved to die...
[Hug Kenny] is the only one that comes to mind for me.
[removed]
I killed danny cus he was annoying and andy grabbed and pulled clems hair, all the reason i needed if the group feared me for it so be it, but I saved their lives that night.
Tell Bonnie about AJ
"Take it"
It's right after Kenny walks away to investigate the gated area, I think.
It is strange that a video game can make players think twice about killing when in so many games that is pretty much all you do.
Distract scavengers, hug luke, hug kenny, save sarah
[Look away]
[Hit Luke]
[HUG LUKE]
[Save Sarah] - I wasn't going to abandon a young girl inside a walker-infested trailer just because she's in shock over her fathers death. I brought her along with me. I wasn't going to listen to Jane's "advice".
[Distracted scavengers from Christa] Why not?
I know, I was just playing Spec-Ops The Line, which provides some similar choices except that I pulled the trigger as soon as I saw the guy and then it autosaved and I was like "Shit! That's not what I wanted to do..." but in TWD I just stopped, every single time, I mean when Andy St. John was attacking me I attacked him just as fast but as soon as I was on top of him I just stopped because I didn't want to kill him, same with strangling the Stranger, I don't know why but I stopped, with Wolf Among Us I only was like that against Beast but everyone else? Fuck 'em, it's pretty strange.
BTW I stopped twice against the Stranger so he had already shot me but I still tried to spare his life, I'm really not sure why...
Me too, every single time except one, I've played the game 6 times and I only hugged him once, I have no idea what the other 2 options are though.
Nah, I just didn't shoot because I still had some hope that Kenny would stop but I kinda knew he wouldn't and I really hate him for not stopping, I know he was in danger too but like I mentioned above, I was willing to spare the Stranger even after he shot me.
[Hug Kenny] [Hug Luke] [Distract Scavengers]
[Shoot Rebecca]/[Cut off Sarita's Arm] it scares myself how I just instinctively clicked both of them without thinking. what have you done to me twdg?
I ran to cover instead of grabbing A.J... I replayed.
Killing Danny St. John. I didn't even realize that Clem was there, watching it. If I knew that than I guess I wouldn't kill him. :P
Leaving Lilly behind. I was so pissed when she killed Carley. Few minutes later I regretted that. I actually liked Lilly.
And shooting Kenny. I regretted this choice so much, but eh, can't rewind. Canon playthrough and such.
